Here is who I see it happening for 2025, A different version of the Road King (maybe with a detashable fairing option, kind of like a Fast Johny, LowRider St Styling) but with the Skyline platform, The Road Glide and Street Glide Standards or CVO (what everyone is buying now), and HD may just offer all of the above things you mention as Options. You buy the base model, then add the options (Bigger motor, painted fairing, inverted forks, VVT, wheels, upgrade stereo, more speakers, etc). My reasoning is because 24 touring models are not selling that well, the way HD manipulates "sales" from a corporate standpoint (Stock value) is not working for the dealers. So addiitonal production costs are highly unlikely (like making more specific model verions of the same bike), just because I can see Dealers stopping 25 orders of "special" models so they can clear the lots from sitting 24s (No one is going to buy the 24 if a better setup is available just for $12K more on a 25)(a bit of sarcasm). Same will go go for Eaglemark finance, if interest rates do not come down, they will have to offer better incentivized rates at least for new models. Harley seems to be going through what General Motors went through after the year 2000, to much brand dilution which canibalized itself. By the way my opinion is constructively, I'm a rider and love the bikes. I think we all agree we want the brand to stay-around but has to be by focusing more on the US core market.
usury is an abomination. that is why it took me a lifetime of saving so I could pay cash and the only Harley that cash was a 2023 FXST, in the year she has been in 8 times for warranty work and while this was happening I had the plastic breathers in the rocker box changed to aluminum and also changed the plastic intake manifold. had a stage 3 119 C.I. upgrade done with drag bars and a Trask polished stainless steel 2 into 1 big sexy exhaust. All this was to try to stop a rocker box leak which was 8 time's in the shop and then the transmission blew on the dyno while doing the stage 3 map. this all happened from 280- 900 miles.
@@0hi0hdmc the only thing left will be the heads themselves which I have been telling the dealer, I believe the warp must be there because the leak is always in the same area of the front cylinder between the head and the bottom rocker box. because it is warranty work they only do the gaskets and seals...they did find the warp in the bottom box then the leak moved to the top rocker box, and then back bottom rocker again. needless to say I am saving up for the ported screamin' eagle heads. sad thing is 3 times she was in for the leak I would tell them a howl sound was coming from the primary side when down shifting between 3rd to 2nd gear. they never listened and that transmission blew in the first 30 seconds on the dyno. if this had not happened they would not have fixed this until it blew on the road. I am lucky to have kept my 2018 naked sport 900 Zed Kawasaki so I can stay in the wind while they fix all this. I suspect my bike was built during the closures at the Pennsylvania plant during the pandemic making a hostile work environment. thanks for letting me tell this... it is helping me keep her, most would have given her up with the lemon law.
