The GT1 Pro is a great rig too and the price is right, so I think you still did well =). I was considering it as well at one point. The microcenter collab totally took me by surprise, had no idea that was a thing. I was originally going to land on the P1X Pro, but while browsing microcenter's site to see what build components I could get locally (almost all!) I came across the TK edition. I do think you get a lot for your money with this kit. After I saw a video of Tony assembling it, the green paint really grew on me. I think it's hard to find the perfect cockpit for any one person. For example the keyboard tray made no sense to me so I repurposed it, and I added some brackets to integrate the monitor stand into the rig. Plus I saved the parts for turning it into a triple and can just do that if I decide to ever ditch the VR. A huge part of this hobby is customization so it's unlikely anyone keeps their rig stock forever because it was perfect out of the box.
Appreciate the degree of objective testing you do. Any plans on testing "spray-and-rinse" ceramic toppers? (e.g. Gyeon Wetcoat, Carpro HydrO2, DIY Quick Beads). I'm always curious how they hold up vs spray-and-wipe sealants.
Simlab and the microcenter collabing on a chassis has been insane. I have a gt1 pro but wish I waited for the p1x Tk edition!

If it ain't Dutch (sim-lab/ Heusinkveld) it ain't much 😛
Haha, they’re definitely good stuff!
We all know I need practice.
We'll get you back into that GR86 next time you're over :-).
My dude, are you saying the word bass like it's the same word for the type of fish. Haha
Haha yea I screw that up sometimes. Downsides of being bilingual.
