My 2000 BMW 323i does not have that relay located there behind the globe box only the orange one above it. I went to the junkyard yesterday and removed 3 relays of 3 different cars and none had that relay located there only the top orange. My question is where else could that relay be located? Please help guys! Thanks.
I have a 2001 330ci and the relay you say is the Air clutch relay is the convertible top rear cover lock drive motor relay. I have not found the clutch relay yet.
I have a 99 e46 328i and the under side of my glove box does not have that blue relay nor a place for one. Not even a single blue relay in the whole area. Have any idea where it might be? There were blue ones in the motor fuse box but I’m not sure which one it could be?
i followed this video for my 2005 bmw 3251 sedan, the relays behind the glove box i see but the blue relay you point out is not there and there is no plug for it , so its not missing, i know in the upper bank of relays the 2nd green one is ac related so is thyat the clutch relay on my car? or is it in the box you show under the hood? my ac is fine but comes on when it feels like it intermittingly,
@@hansolo1068 nope it was always just the relay, but all the uninterested mechanics in America could care less to help u unless they can make a days pay for a few minutes work, thanks
@@stevemcvay2220 #28 is for the inside-AC-controller unit not for the compressor itself. is just for the command dashboard thing that lights up. i have mine working properly just no motor winding or compressor pushing in air... i didn't checked the outside relay nor the underglove one but im doing it today. on my side... it just worked perfectly until cold came... and i didn't moved the car for 2 days then 3rd day i go to start car up to go town... no AC blowing air in... without any warnings from before cold starting outside is weird... i checked the electric motor the fuses no issues however need to check them relays this guy shown.
this is incorrect its not the blue relay. Its a green relay second in from the left in the top row. Far left is fuel pump. Had me chasing my tail for a minute please double check before you post videos that are incorrect!
7 months later but wanted to ask you, i dont see the blue relay in my 2005 bmw 325i sedan and have found some diagrams that support what you are saying, is this relay the ac compressor clutch? and is it the second green relay from the left?
Sorry but you are absolutely wrong about the year and location of the relay's. I have 2004 330CiC and took the time to remove this relay and it IS NOT the compressor relay. I still can't find the correct one.

Must be your final stage resistor if you say it comes on and off

Unless I miss something you only checked one fuse. At the beginning of the video I thought you said there were two.
Fuse #28 in the glove box
