  • Tesla owners have a huge advantage with the Tesla Supercharger network- but owners don't get any help with how to properly use one when they take delivery of their car. When I purchased my Tesla Model 3 no one explained the basics of how to use a Tesla supercharger. I review the one thing you should do every time you use a Tesla Supercharger-and I do mean every time. It's something every electric car owner who drives a Tesla should watch!

I'm sorry but you are actually incorrect on what you said about sharing stalls and being rude if you park next to someone. Actually, the one that parks first get's all they can take and the next one get's the rest so they are actually only hurting themselves. There are some rare cases though because the second one get a minimum of 30 kwh and the charger actually delivers 145 kwh total. That means that if a car that can take 120 kwh have just parked and another one parks at the same pair he will then go down from 120 kwh to 115 kwh so that you can get the 30 kwh minimum.

ok, suppose you pull into a supercharger and everyone is spaced accordingly and you need to split the charge with another car. How do you decide who to slow down? ty

If every charger has one car on it pick whoever has the least amount of terror in their eyes seeing you pull in.
Maybe it would be cool if the chargers had a charge level icon above the unit to help you decide.

@@billnipp2309 Where are you located. Most times here in Denver everyone is in their cars. No one can fault you if no spots are left and no one is around.
