Not Get Money Video game, right?
I wish they would have released a full version of the game as a "unreleased" I'm a sucker for these old RE graphics I'm into the newer stuff but nothing like back in the day the feeling I get playing these oldies is unexplainable
I couldnt agree more. I like the newer stuff to an extent as well. But these old school resident evil games, there was just something about them that I love so much. The atmosphere and everything they portray.
Yeah same. This game would've been am instant classic in the classic RE era with the other 4 RE games (Code Veronica being the 4th, we don't speak of RE Survivor *shiver*)
@@bandicootbrawl9674 i actually liked survivor but its just a shoot em up game theres no real threat unless you fuck around too much.
But what i liked avout the old re games was the graphics and lighting mostly because it reminds me of the era it feels like "someone i know coulda lived here" the new games just sorta trashed the shit out of their environments.
In fact since most of the old games kept their environments intact even with the chaos going on was a bit unsettling almost like some unknown force WANTS you to defeat this great evil but they hold your world intact to keep you from breaking mentally.
Re0 N64 = Uhm theres a zombie in whats like the ckeanest room ever this is pretty scary! Backing up backing up! 🧟♂️🔫😖
RE0 GC = Oh hello friend why are you haning out in a dumpster room? 🤔
🧟♂️ (groans) oh, right
🧟♂️🤯(BLAM!)🔥🔫😉
it feels like that in the newer style of graphics and i found re2 1998 irons office to be unsettling cuz the station still had power and the station was unnaturally well kept for the most part and it was unsettling to me.
(Leon walking theough RPD AND TRIGGERS MR.X)
ME: Oh shit what do i got?! (Looks in inventory) uh, shotgun, use that! (BLORP BLORP)
🧟♂️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔫😖 (SMACK!) Oh jesus im getting the fuck outta here!
🧟♂️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔫😖
Mr. X: 😵
Me: whew, glad thats over, took all 9 of my shells though... is there more later? 🤔
(Picks up dropped ammo) alright the fruits of my labor sweetened! Worth the kill!
(Leaves room)
(Mr. X gets back up) oh fuck! He cant chase me in here can he?! 😨
But remake re2 i was just like "Where the fuck am i going? Cant see shit!" (Unknowingly triggers mr. X (SMACK) (leon grunts)
ME: (nonchalant) where did you come from? 🤔
(Nonchalantly uses flashbang and runs nanchalantly away) hm... that was easy. 😉
Maybe like an old re skin for zero to look like the ps1 games?
@@bmac2814 dont lie to yourself, you dont like the new games at all, you're just saying that so you dont piss off the little kids
I love that original item select sound it’s a huge contributor to the feel of the old games
I'm surprised the ROM for the prototype hasn't been leaked by now.
That's too bad :/
They got the 1.5 leaked, why not this one?
I kind of wish it was man. I'd probably play it over and over again if it was.
Probably because this one was more than likely thrown together with tape and spit. They reused so many assets from previous games just so they can have something to show to the public. I too wish a rom gets leaked at some point but I wouldn’t hold my breathe.
The only reason 1.5 got leaked is because it was found at an estate sale where that particular member of CAPCOM that had 1.5 was then deceased.
@@samkilgore7227 wow I had no idea.
I remember seeing the screenshots of this version on Gamepro magazine. As a young Nintendo fanboy I was like "Yes! Finally we get an exclusive Resident Evil game!"
Man, I feel like I'm looking into an alternate universe. I really kind of want to see what the entire original version of RE: 0 would have looked like.
Gotta say, it's pretty interesting seeing an alternate take on Billy and Rebecca's first meeting here. In the final game, Billy approaches Rebecca in a very flippant and lackadaisical manner, ending the conversation by pointedly ignoring her threats to shoot him and just walking off with no sense of urgency. Here though, he comes off as considerably more on guard, taking her by surprise by holding her at gunpoint as she turns the corner rather than sneaking up on her, not making any dry remarks about her affiliation with S.T.A.R.S. when he realizes this, and bolting when Rebecca starts asking if she killed the men in the MP truck. Hell, Rebecca's reaction to him is considerably different as well, seemingly not prioritizing arresting him or believing that he killed the men in the truck and sounding genuinely concerned for him when he runs away from her. This final point is definitely indicative of her overly saccharine personality in the original version of 1.
yeah this conversation was far more realistic than in the final product
@Undead Officer whine and complain? it's no secret RE0 is a flawed game especially considering how close the release line to the incredible RE1make was and Zero took nothing good from that game
@Undead Officer like talking to a wall do us a favor and leave
what an in-depth analysis! I really enjoyed your thoughts on the differences between the two versions
GC Rebecca was trying to act tough and haughty and failing miserably while N64 Rebecca was cautious and careful with how she treads situations. Honestly I prefer her N64 form, Claire, Jill and Ada are already good at being haughty and tough just like the male MCs but it feels like a nice refresher playing as a character with a different mentality, softer and kinder and she's forced to toughen up against the BOWs
1:18 man, that menu color scheme is so good
Looks like old windows
Gives it a slight hospital feel, which makes sense since Rebecca is the medic
The original prototype is stored on Area 51 along with the Covenant Ark.
Five shots or six?
Cue secret warehouse scene from Indiana Jones. LOL
That music at the end just tore into my soul for some reason; just crushing nostalgia.
Liberating Reality same here. Where's this music from?
Frank West Apparently it's the unreleased N64 version of the credits theme. If you look up the credits theme you'll find a newer, reorganized version of the track.
@@frank_west. just search "Resident Evil 0 N64 Unused Track 2"
@@danny1884 Just the tonal quality of the song really; it's not so dissimilar from various Resident Evil soundtracks of the time period. It sounds very sentimental too, so that helps.
The beginning is obviously a musical nod to RE1's save room theme, hence the nostalgia. Nice little piece, one day I will do a proper cover to do it justice.
Notice that Edward is missing his right hand (3:40). It's the hand that Joseph Frost finds still clutching the gun at the start of the original game.
yeah Im not sure why Capcom cut that out.
His right hand isn't cut off if u look at it closely u can still see his hand
yeah I understand that but still those ideas were cool.
I don't see it cut off...it's just covered in blood. You can even see his thumb.
oh ok I guess I shouldn't point that out then. My bad
I can't believe how good that game looks on the N64
@@jamesraya79 What?
If only they had the technology for carts then like we do now the N64 would run it.
Rebecca: *gasp*
Rebecca: *mini gasp* Who are you~?
Billy: No.
Billy: Who are you?
Damn I love old RE voiceovers.
Lol me too. It sort of made me wish they had finished this game 😂
Sounds like she says "How" are you
Billy's voice even sounds the same as the one in 2002. Did they keep the same actor?
@@filipinowhiteboy feels like it yea
This looks incredible for an N64 game! I'm impressed with what they were able to achieve before they scrapped it and moved it to GameCube.
yes and so i wonder why this was cancelled i was looking foward to this back when i did have a n64 .
Cristy Chumney RE0 was started near the end of the N64's lifecycle. RE0 was set to come out Fall 2000, but the GameCube was set to release in 2001, so I'm betting CapCom already had the GameCube dev kits and decided to delay RE0 in order to revamp it for the NGC, which pushed RE0's release to 2002.
looks like they were workin gon the same engien that RE2 ran on...
The reason why they scrapped it in the first place was that there wasn't enough RAM and memory inside a 64MB cartridge for the game to run on the N64. They also planned to make it coop at some point, but due to limitations, they knew it would be impossible to make the game they wanted, especially when they saw the release of the GameCube coming up on the horizon so they decided to take advantage of the hardware on the GameCube and use it to make RE0 better than it was going to be on the N64. I still wish we could've at least gotten a free playable demo out of it though.
Charles Fahlstrom - I’m just so happy that Resident Evil 2 for the Nintendo 64 was not on the cutting board. One of my favorite games that generation and I experienced it on the Nintendo 64.
Was looking forward to Resident Evil Zero on the Nintendo 64 though.
I love the RE 1-3 graphics, which this game basically is. There's some ellegance in the simplicity of the models, specially in hi-res with antialiasing on, that's beautiful. The same goes for the Tomb Raider originals, Virtua Fighter 2, Midtown Madness 1, etc.
Don't ask me why, but when I see these graphics, in my mind they look like FUN. But when I see modern games with movie grade graphics, they look like work. Perhaps I'm biased and old, but even after playing most modern games, I keep going back to the originals for unadultered, raw FUN
Well said
Man I absolutely love this comment and couldn't agree more. I wish we could get a release of these old prototypes and that they would have made 6 titles on ps1, N64 and even ps2 that would of been amazing. These are so amazing.
@@BigSparky1316 Thank you friend
The one looks like VIDEO GAMES. The other like a product.
You're old dude. I prefer the Game Boy Zelda: Link's awakening to the Switch remake, because that's what my brain got used to and fell in love with as a child. It's normal.
Kids today will feel the same about today's videogames later on. It's just nostalgia for youth.
Wish someone can bring this version of RE0 to life someday. And the same for RE1.5.
yes me tooo 🥺
1.5 is mostly complete. A guy named Aydan made a pc demo for re0. Both are pc exclusive, possibly emulator I'd imagine.
Elza Walker my favorite Resident Evil character. She is such a badass motorcycle college hottie. Way better than Claire in my opinion.🥰🥰🥵🥵
Oh shut the hell up. There is a reason Elsa was scrapped
Rebecca's character model looks exceptional for n64. Same with Billy
The gunshots sound sounds like someone being hit with a newspaper.
Could be worse
The zomie bites in the original resident evil 1 sound like hes chewing on babie cookies
Lol
Sounds normal to me, gun sounds always sounded like this for Re1&2
You sound like an idiot.
@@Deception19985 ever heard of opinions?
I love how the sounds are exactly from re2 and 3
Same here
Placeholders till they update them
Right!!
And most RE2/3 sounds are from 1...
why Capcom took out some really cool prequel ideas from Zero I won't understand.
Rebecca was going to start in this full outfit then as the game progressed would end up in the end looking how she did in Re 1 and Billy would have given her the red headband.
Also that scene where Edward jumps in through the window, you see his hand missing, it was suppose to be HIS hand that Joseph from Alpha team saw in the beginning of Re 1 but that was cut out as well when it moved to the Gamecube.
Also why at the very least the dog tag she gets from Billy couldnt have been in Re1 remake, but that was not shown in her final outfit.
Little things that would have been cool were cut. I dont get it.
yes that is right. And I think that would have been cool. I loved the games when endings depended on what routes you took.
Ret I don't mind those changes, but having RE0 end with a sunrise when the events of RE1 happened at night was really stupid.
Ret I Agree Totally
Walamonga 1313
No, it's not. Wesker's team reaches the mansion quite a while after Rebeca does.
Maybe it was meant to show that Rebecca made it to the mansion by night time? I think it's possible it took her time to reach the mansion on foot.
I'd purchase this even now if it was to release.
Oh look, Rebecca has 8 item slots. It's a shame that in the final game there are only 6.
@Undead Officer let's be real, the game would be more enjoyable if you had the 2 extra slots. The item management is not good and almost every review criticizes it.
@@DerTendou I just started playing Zero on PS4 (very late to the party I know) ... I think maybe Easy mode should have 2 extra slots, as I know it's annoying to some players. Personally, I think managing items and having to make decisions adds a valuable layer to the gameplay because it's somewhat strategic, and it's a key part of the survival horror genre. The more trapped or limited you feel, the more it adds to the tension ... that being said I haven't played a lot of Zero and if it turns out that it's just plain annoying and not even strategic, then I'll take all that back 😂
@@360Fov Yeah you are totally correct that limited items add value to survival horror games. The issue in this game is that there is no storage box and the more you play the more items are just lying on the ground in different rooms which means a lot of annoying backtracking, it's also worth mentioning that some items take two slots so in the worst case you only have three things with you and you can't pick anything up. I guess you really have to play and decide. It's not for everyone that bad.
The ability to drop and pick up items is the reason. As long as you remember to drop items in key areas you wont miss the space
But you have Billy with you?
Love the dialogue of this it still gives off the same vibes as 1996 RE1 Rebecca I'm curious though if the voice actor for Billy in this N64 Beta was the same VA in the actual GameCube version
Billy seems to have the same voice, so yeah.
That song playing until the end has the sound of a potentially classic RE safe room theme.
the 180 degree turn by pressing down and b is the best thing they came up with.
Yup. Adding this to the DS version of RE1 (along with a dedicated knife button) made it the best port of RE1, IMO.
Looks fantastic for an N64 game, but damn am I glad it ended up on Gamecube.
dimmkah I still remember when my friends and Nintendo magazines were going batshit crazy about the swinging arm XD
for the better I suppose, we wouldnt have got the 0 we have today or the remaster
blue red Wellthe way I see it folks would have been bitching about it either way if it didn’t get released on GameCube and instead on the N64. Just like that unreleased conker 64 game. They would have complained that it was “too cutesy “
@blue red that wouldn't have been the issue. The team that made the re 2 port managed both CD's on a single cart.
Re 3 was a single disc, granted Capcom later came out and stated the real reason for the second CD was they didn't compress the audio but they could have.
@@MisfitOutfit It's not 2 CDs. RE2 is just slightly larger than 700MB. Both CDs have a lot of repeated data.
I feel like the graphics are a step above RE2 on the n64.....but graphics on the way more powerful gamecube were just out of this world for the year 2002, they were truly next gen graphics at the time
100% right i just got done beating the resident evil 2 on gamecube which i believe was re made with the original graphics from the ps1. Now im playing 0 on the gamecube and im blow away how much of a difference 4 years can make
When it comes down to the environments heck ya it was.
The Game Cube had a far superior ATI Hollywood programmable graphics processor over the XBOX, Playstation 2 and Dream cast. They still used it in the Wii but what hurt the Game Cube's sales was the fact it couldn't play anything bigger than a mini-disc which kept it from playing CDs and DVDs. The XBOX and Playstation 2 were the obvious choice to buy because of their DVD playback.
@@tskraj3190 Xbox's GPU was better than Gamecube's, Resident Evil looks good because of pre rendered backgrounds.
@@tskraj3190 The Xbox Nvidia GPU was Superior to the GameCube. But the Xbox didn't have exclusives games to enjoy the full potential like the GameCube did. Only a few games like Ninja Gaiden and Halo 2.
"Get N or Get Out!" Man, I miss that slogan
I wanted this game soooo bad back in the day, because I only had a N64 and couldn't play any of the other games besides RE2. While still a good game, the GC one lost a little thunder for me because by that point I had already gotten my hands on a Playstation 1 to play the other 2 games and the GC REmake had already blown my mind, so there was little room left for RE0 stand out anymore. What could have been...
damn, so THIS was what the N64 was capable of? this is pretty damn impressive!!! but im so happy it came out for pc and gamecube lol but DAMN N64 this is impressive as hell
It was not capable. Cause this they cancelled it.
It was capable, they just knew the GameCube was coming out soon so they hopped over to that instead because they wanted to work with the vastly superior hardware
@@1989Ezal it was capable. They canceled this version because it was at the end of the N64s life and GameCube was approaching quickly.
@@Not_Liquid then im takin my comment back. OUPS!
@@1989Ezal Only reason I commented was because i’ve been reading through Itchy Tasty: The History of Resident Evil and I just finished the part where they talk about RE0. XD
Capcom should release this as DLC and call it something like RESIDENT EVIL Ø DE-MAKE
VIII No. U.
Yeah a 10% unfinished game
Resident Evil 0.5
I agree a download for this would be great, but not as quite a DLC scenario. If cap com wanted to capitalize on people wanting betas they would be smart to release a Demo package that would include this and a bunch of other resident evil and other horror game demos all in one place. Maybe make a small limited batch of actual discs for nostalgic reasons. People would eat it up.
I really, REALLY like RE0. I think it perfects the formula of the old RE.
That being said, I'd play this. Looks mighty cool :)
these graphics are amazing love old graphics
Me too
Me too, I grew up with these kind of graphics.
I like how they used the same zombie's and sounds from RE2.
They did it for Code Veronica as well.
@@marmcd2003 The Zombie sprites in CV were a bit different. Hell here in this original 0 they didnt even try, just like in RE Survivor, they also used the same zombies and sounds as RE2 lol, it even had Mr X in it.
Those are called "placeholders." They were used temporarily until new sounds would be added into the game. For example, RE2 beta (1.5) used RE1 sound effects. Also, zombies were 3D models, so they weren't "sprites." Sprites are 2D images. Sprites include UI and HUDS. Sprites are also used in 2D side scrolling games.
@@Programm4r In the end it really doesnt matter to me, I'd love to have the completed full versions on this 0 prototype, and 1.5, the 1.5 looked very interesting
Heath N yeah, I agree. They also had a gameplay mechanic that would allow you to complete the game even if one player died thus giving the game 3 different endings. Even more interesting, a second player could pick up the controller and play as the second character.
This is impressive for the 64
It still had the feel of re2 & 3 and i love that, So frustrating it never got released!
Resident Evil really knows how to set up a scene it's magical....
I remember the time I wouldve been blown away by these graphics! The difference between RE1,2,3 on PS1 and Code Vernoica on Dreamcast literally had me astonished as to how something could look so real! 😂🤣
Same 😂
Most kids today overuse and don't know what the word "literally" means or stands for.
Because of this video. You have me as a subscriber. I’ve been a huge fan of this series since the late 90’s. Wish they would’ve released this on N64 as well...Keep up the good work.
Big C
Ahahahah Rebeca : Aaaaaah ! Who are you ?
Billy: NO ! Who are you ?!
Wow Even the dialogue is good.
Scotty A Considering how hilariously terrible the dialogue was in the 1996 version of the first game, even _I'm_ surprised to hear how much better it sounds here.
Blip Flipped lol I remember every single line.! :-)
Scotty A "You were almost a Jill Sandwich!"
"Hmph. You're right!"
_Everybody_ should know who and what that line comes from. The games have gotten so much better at dialogue and voice acting, but jesus, RE1996 is like House of the Dead 2 - every single line is terrible and laughable and beyond cheesy, you can't change it, just go with the flow and suddenly, you're enjoying yourself more than you thought.
I like that Billy said that he saw their helicopter and then Rebecca asks him if he was the one who killed the soldiers... Why they changed the dialogue in the Gamecube version.... We'll never know.
@@spideymatt93 More like they added Billy's lines instead of taking off all of a sudden after being asked a question like sherry.
Seeing the zombies roaming outside the train window is genuinely terrifying.
Yea I wonder why they removed that.
Rebecca became a cutie pie in the Gamecube version.
Kinda sucks how RE0 is like. The black sheep of the original games. It makes me wonder if people would have been easier on it if it was a N64 game as originally intended.
Madara Senpai As long as it didn't have the awful inventory management...
Madara Senpai guess you didn't play resident evil gaiden?
Azinye Fantasy
A lot of people didn’t.
Or almost finish canceled GBC game.
My problem with 0 is that it absolutely ruins the first game. The tone of the first three games is grim, dark and serious. Then 0 comes along and has a fucking anime character that’s actually a leech queen singing opera, wishing death on Umbrella after her creator is killed. By comparison to that trainwreck RE7’s Eveline plot is suddenly great, and that says a lot.
Maybe someday they will launch this game with nintendo 64 mini
Keep dreamin’. If N64 mini happens we’d be lucky to get RE2
@David Hinkle well nintendo finished star fox 2 for the snes classic. It was 95% finished before they cancelled it before.
legendofgame 83 they’ve said this version was only 10-20% completed. and star fox wasn’t previously released. it’s just not gonna happen.
Ouch, he jumped through a train window. Those things are tougher than you'd think
This footage looks surprisingly crisp for its time. Was it recorded back then or has it been recorded from an unreleased rom in a test cartridge somewhere?
I wish we'd got this version but RE Zero is one of my favourite in the series so I guess it worked out ok.
Man, and I thought the dialogues couldn't get any cheesier. Still looks like a very solid game for the N64, though.
Zero was one of my top 3 favorite
I wish Mother 3, Eternal Darkness and RE0 were finished for the N64 :(
Don’t forget Dinosaur Planet.
Off all the most hyped games for n64
Mother 3
Why? Mother I understand, but RE0 and Eternal Darkness came out on the GameCube in unarguably much better form then what would have been released on the 64.
Me too...dinossaur planet too!
Eternal Darkness... now that is a name i have not heard in a while... such a goid game, so good that even my MOM olayed and beat it. As well as all the resident evils from 0 to 3. Remakes included. Back when they were all first coming out.
Worthy a fan project? I'd say yes!
A reason is that this reminds us of the trilogy, it really feels like a fourth game, Resident Evil 4 in a way as it continues with the classic engine we all know and love!
Gotta love the resident evil 2 sound effects
I love the RE background sound 🤗
This, Eternal Darkness and Dinosaur Planet were the games I wanted on my N64 so bad. I honestly would still love to play the OG N64 Dinosaur Planet. Apparently after Miyamoto got involved he made a lot of “unnecessary” changes to the overall game (not just the Star Fox element) some alterations like how the dialogue wasnt completely English until he said so.
Those RE2 zombie moans are so damn iconic!
I remember seeing Resident Evil 0 screen shots for N64 in Game Informer Magazine. It was scrapped for a system prototype named Dolphin 🐬 which later became the Game Cube.
This channel is one of the most importants internet channels about gaming history.
They seem to be the same voice actors too. At leats for Billy and Edward, not 100% sure on Rebecca, though. But didn't it come out on the gamecube like two years after the N64 version was scrapped?
The GameCube remake and zero had one of the most beautiful graphics in my opinion. Hell the graphics of those were way better than resident evil 4.
This game being released on GameCube caused the death of classic Resident Evil. Since most RE fans were Sony owners and not Nintendo owners, RE 0 for GameCube sold poorly and caused CapCom to believe people were tired of the classic RE system. If this game was released for Nintendo 64 or PlayStation or even Dreamcast for that matter we probably wouldn’t get countless action RE games like RE 6.
i think releasing it on the DC would even be worse since that console had such a short lifespan - and CV was ported to other consoles anyway.
but Outbreak really felt like the end of the classic series. it was subdued, had tank controls and showed a different perspective of the racoon city incident.
You know its brilliant sound design when the glass breaking is louder than a pistol being fired in closed space
This game available for the N64 Mini, could you imagine???, it would be awesome
I like this way more than the final version. Love the old sounds, brighter colors etc
Makes you wonder where all these unreleased demo versions are being stored.
I remember when I watched the trailer for the first time.
I can't remember what year, but I had a phone internet line and it took like an hour to download such short video in my old Compaq PC.
I think I watched it in the RE website, I can't tell.
Good memories that I got so hyped with so little
It's unbelievable that this is so low poly PS1 era compared to the actual game that turned out to be a Game Cube release with higher polygons.
Crazy Stuff that it got a Remake AND a HD Remaster.
Capcom could make a game based on the stars bravo team perspective, we have no idea what happened to forest, Kenneth, Richard, Enrico even Edward, Kenneth had survived a whole day before he got killed by the time that alpha team arrived at the mansion.
Agnes Rodrigues How is gonna be the end of this game? Since all member that you talked about will die along the game
bruno ferreira silva , maybe a kind of resident evil outbreak, I don't know. .. I think that resident evil 0 should have been about bravo team, but capcom has created Billy coen, and just forgot about the stars members, it was a mistake.
Rebecca seems very trusting in this version compared to her not very trusting nature of the final build.
Wow! This is really cool!!
And that voice acting!!
Thank you so much for editing out where they wouldn't shut the fuck up during these rare unreleased cut scenes.
Should have released a Resident Evil 3 port in the summer of 2000 on the N64 then Resident Evil 0 at the end of 2000 would have really helped the sales of the N64 and allowed it to continue for longer maybe.
PS1 games which were released at year 2000 failed to sell. Same would have happened with RE0 N64.
@SonySupporter Yes bur N64 was 2 years newer and more powerful.
i hope this will be released someday. maybe on a digital platform like 3ds or switch
Bre Fujimoto sadly the never finished the game. I'm pretty sure they have no plans on going back and working on this version of zero again; which is very sad. it would have been amazing to play this game in its original form.
Michael Eggers for real that would've been too hard. I love re in this format. 0 most def would've been a treat
What is different from the released zero? Train, Rebecca, Billy
It doesn’t look like they made it passed the train sequence which was the first level on the final gamecube release. I played zero on the gamecube. It was a damned fine classic RE game. Even though this was scrapped I’m glad it still got released with superior graphics for the gamecube. I could see that version re-released for the switch and would be awesome :)
I LOVE the Resident Evil 0 remake better. IT's atmospheric and has pretty damn good detail to its graphics compared to the RE1 remake.
Anyone who says the GameCube version wasn't a remake clearly doesn't know that the N64 version had most of the train section complete.
The game wasn't scrapped like RE1.5 was. It was put on hold and remade with improved graphics when technology caught up to the ambition of the game.
Why does this seem more scary than the original? Maybe it’s the nostalgic sounds
Rebecca is a palette swap of Jill.
Cristian Martinez
Not really. Shes a palette swap of... Well Rebecca. xD
Jill was more endowed compared to Rebecca.
If RE0 on GameCube actually had safe boxes and the ability to finish the game if one character died, it would be A+ quality. (Oh and I forgot shorter animations since it shouldn't take a million years to pick up an item)
Sir Gibbles mannn that pisses me off. taking all damnn day to pick up a damn herb ! they do that on re 1 remake on gamecube too
This game is not scary like the first RE game remake
Very impressive with the graphics for N64
I like the mother love tattoo in this build of re0
I'll buy it right now, love the re2 and re3 style
this was very impressive running on the n64
Perhaps this version will leak someday like Dinosaur Planet on the Nintendo 64.
Looks like they already had a pretty complete build working.
6:38- I'm assuming this is what the Save Theme was gonna be?
Otaku_GameFan This was going to be the End Credits theme.
That save room theme starting at 6:39 sounds like something from a jrpg. Sounds like something that would play when some old sage talks about events that happened many moons ago.
I swear time fly I love my childhood favorite games
If this game where released for N64, it could have been a greater console
Why cant they start producing n64 games again, seriously though, for us nostalgia fans? I dont give a shit about modern games, they have all merged into one, every game is the same to me nowdays, I dont give a shit about fancy graphics and quick time events and open worlds. Sometimes I feel like the limitations the old games had was what made them so good, developers worked around the hardware limitations by beeing more creative..... unlike today.
stavro kaps not possible, would you go back to no internet and having smartphones? Im sure developing on ancient technology would feel the same to any developer nowadays
You know how much of a niche market that would be? Sorry but virtually no one is going to make money that way.
Check “prototype mansion” is the closest thing to a classic resident evil game in this day and age.
Because making video games cost money and time and effort. If I had at least two I would make my own resident evil games and call them atrocious mansion.
People got tired of this formula around code veronica
I'd still buy this
Me too man...my dream as eternal darkness released for game cube!
Me too. I love all RE game up to and including 4 and this still looks awesome and fun to me. I'm a sucker for pre-rendered backgrounds and fixed camera angles.
@@unshackledmind7863 RE 4 is shjit RE.
I would too.
Love the mystery of Dewey-San in the first instruction booklet. Closure finally.
You must've not played RE0.
No lie. I would pay full price if they released this now as an “unreleased” game
Its a real shame this never released. The N64 getting its own exclusive RE game would have been cool.
the game could have been great on the N64, but I think the Gamecube version was far better
I don't agree 100% with you because I hated the partner I.A.,areas,inventory sorting,boss battles,storyline,villain.
The game was okay, still enjoyable as a classic RE game but I'm disappointed those things and that's why I never played again after the first run.
The graphic of course is better but I think the N64 version would have been a better game with old mechanics.
The voice acting is surprisingly good.☺
Looks really great
This is amazing!😊
The auto translated subtitles were both informative and hilarious !
The auto subtitles have always been awful lol.
Wish this would’ve came out for the N64, would of been amazing.
would have*
Hi there I'm wondering if it would be okay for me to use a small clip of this footage for another youtube video. I'll of course credit you. Please and thank you.
wow billy's voice is still the same in the remastered
