The was fun working on that with you. An easy fix that any one can do with just a couple tools. Sure better than going to the dealer that would have been 100's in labor in am sure and what it is a 10 min job if you have done it once before or watched this video.
Is that part even necessary?..Will the car still be the same with out it cause that turn off sound freaks me out and I feel like the car has died on me at times but it’s still on
There are systems in the car that rely on this component, and without it, they will not function properly. It's my understanding that, for instance, systems such as the driver assist, will not function without it. It doesn't seem to be necessary for the core functionality of the vehicle though. It's a fairly straight forward fix though to DIY.
@@Jordan-md3uc as one fellow viewer put it, I've had "all the C400 problems" 😂 panoramic roof is broken, one of the wheels cracked and I had to replace that, right paddle shifter needs replacing, headrest needs some work. Supposed to replace the rear shocks, as they're getting worn out. My biggest complaint is honestly the roof. Most everything else I can figure out and do myself. That roof though...
This is a battery that eventually wears out, so it is a wear and tear item. Are you doing the A & B services from a Mercedes authorized dealer? I go to Werner in SLC. They are amazing.

will this work for c450
If it's the same part, I don't see why it shouldn't.
Have this error message right now in my c400. Been delaying replacing it but I think it's time
Do you need to disconnect your main battery to do this or is that not required?
I want to say that I did it all without disconnecting the battery.

How is the part you put on your Mercedes working? Voltage converter Because I have the same problem and I already ordered that part
Working great. 0 issues.
@@joshua.sutherland OK, thanks for answering
Had this notification on my c400 for weeks. Just brought it in today and they replaced it.
Luckily, my car is still under warranty.
If only I had warranty on mine still 😂 I'd be my dealers "favorite" customer 🤣
@@joshua.sutherland any other issues you've had?
I just bought mine maybe 4 months ago. Have had a few issues already.

Was covered under extended warranty? I'm assuming you were past the bumper to bumper factor one.
@@jeffrichter5826 fully covered.

For my first service (A), I took it up to Makes and Models. Since then, I've been doing everything myself.
Considering it’s a German junk should’ve got OEM boss man
