I have the same issue with mine, but my clip complete broke off while I was driving on the highway. I had to remove the entire panoramic roof. Luckily I had a garage to park in, but a part so crucial should never have been made of plastic. It's ridiculous considering many of us are having this issue and these are "luxury" cars

I feel your pain. I'm 600 miles from home and my sunroof won't close. I get it pushed closed but the back won't go down and I don't think the manual override will do it. On my way to find tools to try. Hello Harbor freight.

In the device overview you could see that there is a VIA controller on the card. The VIA chip ran without any problems on my Windows 7 P 64.

Thanks for this useful unboxing video. Comes with TWO 3.5” trays, so why does the manual case overview section with the illustrations show 6 type-B trays (item number 16), listed separately from the 2 cages (item number 3), and why does the website specs say 6 + 2 included? So confusing! Is it counting the 2 cages (holds four 3.5” drives) + 2 trays for a total of six? But that doesn’t line up with “6 + 2” either. (From another unboxing it seems two is the number they apparently shipped for everyone, but it’s super confusing for someone who buys the case without knowing the true ‘correct’ number of type B trays supposedly included.) edit: d’oh!!! 4 are already inserted in the cages. For a total of 6. 😅

Search for a Firwire Card from a Dell System, one without additional Powerconnector. Every Firewirecard with additional Power is not a Firewire400, it faster and will not work properly under windows 10. Dell Has got a windows 10 Driver for their Card.

This happened to my coupe and apparently it happens bc they’re not made to be open while driving around bc it puts weight on the back end of the rails, then ad a bump while driving and you’re just asking for it to snap/ break. So you’re only meant to have the back end cracked at most while driving so weight distribution is even. Poor engineering and plastic parts also don’t help. No more sunroof in summer = summertime sadness 🙃

I believe there is a new one piece metal shifter . If you have to take apart that much to puts a new paddle shifter? You risk far more problems and effort for such a small improvement. Just put an extension on it and be done in 15 min.

I have a Pixel 5a 5G with the same EDL mode issue at 23 months into my phone fi subscription. I get a new phone next month. Customer Service was useless as their very first response was to cancel my subscription and just buy a new phone from them. Why would in the world would I do that, I have one month left before I get a new phone from you that I already paid for over 23 months? Their next suggestion was to take it to their approved repair shop. Their last comment was, sorry it's broken and needs replacement. Seemed pretty obvious the more I looked into the issue. I did get it to turn on randomly a few times, but whenever apps attempt to access my camera or photos app it crashes. I've also noticed this phone has also had heat issues that cause a warning to pop up about the device being too hot. Perhaps being on a pixel subscription with Google Fi isn't the path to be on.

I was able to install the clips. First try I broke one of the clips second try it workerd very easy once you figure it out.But now that the clips are installed it still doesn't work.I will need to get both rails replaced

My w205 won’t tilt in one corner. I’m unable to slide the glass back. How to I tilt the passenger side in order to get to the screws to remove the glass? Also I saw a video where the technician replaced the parts in the track without reprogramming. He replaced all the parts except the motor.

For those who blame Mercedes just keep one thing in mind , the main reason those plastic parts break is that due to the roofs design . If you look at the roof when its fully open the rear of the glass is hanging in mid air above the back of the cars roof with NO support , the rear support unlike the previous series does not move as the glass slides over the top of it . When your driving on rough roads car park speed bumps etc every jolt and vibration is transmitted to the roof and the glass is then placing strain on those plastic parts which leads to breakages . Then the last bit is that those AMG models have a much stiffer suspension and when combined with larger diameter rims with very low profile tyres it also adds more vibrations etc , same for those people who upgrade their wheel tyre combination its just adding to the problem .

Ridiculous that Mercedes would manufacture such fragile components for a moonroof... Mine broke too, and it was properly maintained and greased by the dealership... Because of a plastic piece broken, the dealership wants over $5,000 to replace the entire moonroof assembly. We have to fix it ourselves... great job mercedes!
