What I find most amusing about this video is that Toyota of Tampa Bay agreed to have this made. I can hear their commercials now, “Come to Toyota of Tampa Bay where you can get a 2025 Camry SE for the same price as fully loaded 2025 XSE almost anywhere else!”
GM's and GSM's gotta pay those Rents !
5k markup??!! Keep it in the lot lol
first thing i noticed or gave an ish about. no way jose!
$5k yikes 😲
SHAME ON J.BIDEN
💢
@@tadeuszlufikswitch that phrase to “no way J.B” 👴🏼
Plus the $3K BS Tampa Bay Advantage. What a crock of shit.

I keep my eyes open for those videos!
If I got to a Toyota lot and they try any price mark up bullshit I’m not buying. It’s a Camry. I can drive my 2021 for the next 30 years.
Imagine how people with 2021's who's at end of lease are feeling right now. I ran to the dealership in February to get a 24. Still miss my 21.
I you don't mind a little travel. I got the 25 SE with two of the packages. No sun roof. It was stickered at$33.542 + TT&L. They are a new dealership in the middle of a California desert. I walked out paying $31.087. OTD Including TT&L. If you want to know where it send a thumbs up.
Toyota of Tampa Bay shame on your greed. Markups on exotics, maybe but not on an appliance car. I sincerely hope no one pays that gotcha fee.
Toyotas near me are doing 2-3k Under msrp on 2025s.
@@420_traveler Which dealership is this?
@@420_traveler there are a lot more dealers that are not charging markups now so just call around, here in Wyoming even add on's that used to be mandatory are now optional
dealers are anti-consumer. its time to cut the middle-man and let manufacturers sell direct to consumer
Our dealer has se markeup to 39g. For a SE. Toyota is a joke
Congrats. I think you’re the best car reviewer I’ve seen. I like how you do almost a baseball play-by-play of every feature in front of you. Great job.
This is exactly the color combo I'd get on the SE heavy metal with black interior. But 5k markup? Forgetaboutit!!!
Thanks to Ron desantis direct to consumer laws he signed
Car dealerships are still doing markups? They must don't wanna sell no units!
These dealer adding markups need to be put out of service.
Clown keeps talking about $30k and the sticker with add ons indicates 41k and he ignores it.
Base price is $30,700. If one dealer is charging too much you can find one that isn’t. Doesn’t change msrp
@@WTFCRLT1 But you are literally sponsoring this particular dealership in your video, and so by doing so you are supporting their markup behavior on these cars from $5000 to $10,000 above the base price.
Stop saying base price cause nobody in the world charges that
@@Bobb9099 Sponsoring would be getting money directly from the dealership. That does not happen here. It’s up to you or not to buy the car, but at least you know where the car is located and who you can talk to. Providing information is not telling someone to go buy this specific car from this specific dealership.
The camry is the safest most conservative route as far as choosing a car. With other car brands you just don't know when you might get hit with a 10 thousand dollar repair bill.
Good job on your content bud.
I have watched a tonne of your videos.
Whoa, that mark up. Take a lot of miles to pay for that difference. Great car, but all Toyota dealers in USA will do this and sometimes consumers just have to say no!
Dealers near me are 2-3 under msrp. On 2025s.
@@420_travelerwhere u at and which Toyotas?
@@xx42069 yes where?
Amazing review Will.
Are you kidding me $8,000 in dealer markup and you say pretty good value Give me a break
Terrific job Will and I be love to buy this car.
Thanks man good luck! 👍🏼
I leased my 2022 XSE after watching your review and I think I’m getting the 2025 XSE AWD after watching this one!
Glad I could help Jim! Hope you’ve enjoyed the car and wish you luck if you choose to go with the new one 👍🏼
Thanks for sharing this video. Great heavy metal color! By the way that rear bumper on the left rear corner looks like a different color!! 3:31
It looks a bit like a Prius, but if you look closely, it's completely different. I think it's a good design.
However, the rear seat space is small.
The 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid uses Toyota's latest generation hybrid system to provide powerful driving performance and good fuel efficiency.
It definitely shares some aspects with the rest of Toyotas electrified lineup while keeping some classic Camry style as well!
@@WTFCRLT1
Thank you for your reply.
As you said, it is shared with Prius, Crown crossover, etc.
Is the unlock/lock sound the same as the new 2024 Prius? Or is it the normal Toyota beep?
I like it, color and rims look good. price is fantastic. 2 things I don't care for and this is just me, single exhaust on each side or no visible exhaust don't like the the dual on one side. and that hook of material that extends from under the glove box to the center console, cut that off and just run it straight. Just my OCD coming out. but I really like the looks and price. Nice review buddy👍🏻👍🏻
I had an Ionic plugin, and it had the paddle behind the steering wheel as a way to recharge the battery... Does the Camry do that too? I used it a lot, and it often saved me from using the brakes frequently.
Can you help answer some questions about the 2025 Camry. I can’t seem to find this information anywhere online, and the dealerships in my area say the car is too new so they don’t know the answers to my questions.
1. Does the 2025 Carmy have steel knuckles or aluminum knuckles?
2. Approximately how many shop hours to replace new lithium ion battery in 2025 Carmy under the seat? I’m hoping the new design requires less time to be removed to get the battery out.
3. Does the 2025 Carmy have an electronically controlled variable oil pump?
4. Does the ECVT transmission in the 2025 Camry have a slush lubrication system or does it have a dry sump system like the 2024 Prius Prime?
5. Is the transmission in the 2025 Camry the PB12 transmission like in the 2024 Prius Prime which is lager than what is in the standard Prius?
6. Does the 2025 Carmy have lug nuts with bolts or did you switch to bolts like on the 2024 Prius?
7. Does the 2025 have a re-designed Two Piece timing chain cover like the 2024 Prius which was re-designed to eliminate the chances of leaks?
We are no longer receiving Toyota camry here in South Africa. It looking good
Wow a 2025 Camry...nice like looking car. Your reviews are the best Wil...keep up the good job.
Thanks Gary I’m glad you liked it!! 👍🏼
Looks nice fr! 💯
For those mentioning Toyota of Tampa Bay, keep in mind, Toyotas in the Southeast are controlled by Southeast Toyota Distributors, a giant private company founded by Jim Moran that’s separate from the main Toyota distributor. It’s often responsible for the add ons you see at a lot of FL dealers
Like everything I saw until the markups and adjustments price. No Thankyou Toyota of Tampa Bay!
nice video
People will pay 40k+ for a low rider from Toyota???🤯🤯🤯🤯
Where are you getting your torque numbers from? I've can't find official torque power numbers and being told Toyota hasn't published them.
It's 163. He's mistaken
I haven’t seen anyone get the exact combined figure yet but if the gas motor cranks out 163 lb-ft and the electric motors top out at 149 lb-ft, considering where they make their combined bulk I just put what I thought was a reasonable range. We’ll see the exact figures once someone puts it on a dyno it’s a shame we haven’t gotten a combined crank output from the manufacturer yet
Could you please take a look at the 2024 Chevrolet blazer rs im looking at getting one
Do you not have a Chevy dealership in your area? 🤔
@@kellyaustin7487 there is but I don’t have the time to actually go see one
I’ll try getting my hands on one asap! 👍🏼
My friend is in sales at Roswell Toyota in New Mexico he said all dealers got a letter from Toyota that said no more mark ups don’t know how true that is.
163+149= 312 lb-ft that's a big number
They should make this version with the panoramic roof.
XSE and XLE models have the pano roof available as a option
This is a great video to show everyone how dealerships are ripping people off and to know which ones to avoid here you have it Toyota Tampa bay I hope the manufacturer Toyota noticed this dealerships, ripping off people and hope they lose Toyota franchise
Wow pure EV at 15 mph? That's freaking awesome.
That adendum sticker pushes it to $41k….ouch. That dealership is insane. At $30k its a nice car, but not at $41k
Classy elegance
good video .. try to get the length down to 10 mins long...
Toyota strong reliable all time
Se trim my fav
Looking beautiful inside out....the accord is UGLY.
The v6 though 😢
The 225hp ratings sounds interesting. However the torque rating is not accurate....try 163 torque rating. This car is all show and no go. Sure it's nice but the Accord is far more engaging....and faster 0-60. As always people have this craving to be first line to display their new gem. And because dealers are in this for the love of money they will screw customers. If you screw me I want to feel it....😂😂😂!!!
Just got se 2 day ago,3k off on sticker prices. Happy with that. Cincinnati OH😀😀
On a flat road If you take your foot off the accelerator and it regens just gently put your foot back on and it will do EV mode for a while until the engine kicks in
Those torque numbers are accurate? If so, MAN!!
This car is the same or cheaper in many ways as outgoing model accept mpg.
2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid HEV SE FWD Sedan!
Recheck torque numbers, otherwise great video.
How'd you figure out those torque numbers? Those sound unrealistic to me. 290-300 lb/ft torque really? I like the car sure but tell it like it is man....
There is no direct conversion, just estimates but If the gas motor makes 163-184 lb-ft and the electric motor itself makes 149 lb-ft, it’s a pretty fair estimate considering where both motors make the bulk of their torque. Someone will have to find a way to dyno the car to get an exact number 👍🏼
That addendum was 10k 🤯
How is the lane assist driving?
It does its job if you don’t turn it off but I wouldn’t call it overly intrusive. It gives you a small nudge back into the lane if you don’t use your turn signal.
I was at the dealership they were asking 6k markup Toyota dealership they are thugs
Where are you getting these torque figures from?
Gas motor: 163 lb-ft
Electric motors(fwd): 149 lb-ft.
It’s not a direct conversion and Toyota nor anyone else has given us an exact combined figure yet so I left a range. Should’ve just left the separate figures it seems like lol
@@WTFCRLT1yeah Toyota is weird when it comes to not offering combined system torque for their hybrid vehicles. It’s like, “what are you trying to hide bros?!” 😂
My accord a little more hp and torque 0-60 is 5.4 seconds this csmry has 232hp and he said cmb torque 250-300 but 0-60 7.3 - 7.7 seconds something dont seem right..im definitely liking this camry right now regardless
Edit: 21 accord sport 2.0 / 10 speed
232 hp is for the AWD the fwd makes 225. The new accord claims 247 lb-ft and the new Camry dusts it. Check out Throttle house’s drag race.
I was offered at 39,965 at dealer at Burleson yesterday. With 2300 equipment price added on the top of the MSRP. That is too much price. Meanwhile, Accord hybrid also not bad, sonata hybrid & civic hybrid also coming soon with 200hp /50MPG.
Not paying 40k for this. Staying economic safe.
I’d never buy from that dealership
Market adjustment 4,999?!! FU dealers
Say FU to Mr.Biden ……
Whoa!
31 msrp comes to 41k+ greedy dealers bye
I like the exterior design but I feel toyotas interior design is lacking something.. it looks dated.. wish they would take note of interiors such as mazda or hyundai which look sleek and fancy and manage to still stay within the budget
Nice car but not worth 40k. Having a problem with 30K as well.
Buy a Hyundai or Nissan and have problems sooner than later, even a Honda will eventually fail you. Buy this and drive it for the next 15 years with basic maintenance.
U just ran a red light bro 😂
Stealerships still doing markups in 2024 🤣 GET WITH THE PROGRAM! Dodge stealerships marked the hell out of all their cars and now have lots completely full of cars that have been sitting there for a year at least...
The torque figures are wrong
Gas motor: 163 lb-ft
Electric motors (fwd): 149 lb-ft
Doesn't even have the 12.3 screen upgrade or heated seats and they put a 5k markup? LOL
He’ll I’ll buy a preen 2018-2024 model. Goddamn Toyota!. Y’all that desperate?
$41,000 for a 2025 Toyota Camry Se?!! What?!!. I don’t think so. I’ll just looking elsewhere come on
I'm not selling them over sticker.
$5-6k markups!? Keep in the lot and let the economy crash to see if they regain their senses.
40k but no 12 inch infotainment that you can get with the SE as an option. Pathetic.
It's also missing many options
$43k for this? Are you psychopath?
300 ft pounds of torque??? am i missing something?? is this a Nascar Camry??? 300 lbs of torque really????? umm try again lol
The new camry design is not hitting
My 2024 XSE V6 is cheaper.
That looks like a Hyundai.😲
Those torque numbers are not accurate...try 163 torque rating. The Accord has a 247 torque rating which is far more engaging. Sure the Accord lost some excitement but overall a better value. All new cars have to meet environmental regulations. GDI engines are a recipe for disaster long term. These dealership know people are distracted with the shiny object. Most will wait between 7,500 to 10,000 for oil changes not realizing engine failure is inevitable. And the warranty....what warranty?? You have surpassed the alloted time. Do yourself a favor and be one step ahead of these crooks....3,000 to 5,000 oil changes. This applys to long term ownership not people who lease a lifestyle. Because all dealerships are in this game for the love of money, consumers are lined up to be screwed due to excessive mark-ups. If you screw me I want to feel it...
😂😂😂😂!!!!
Agreed with everything but 163 lb-ft is just for the gas motor. Nobody’s calculated the exact combined torque I was just giving an estimated range. 200-250 would’ve probably been more accurate lol but the accord and Camry feel very similar in terms of performance
CVTs are awful. I don’t understand anyone who buys one, let alone pays $6,000 above MSRP for a “market adjustment”
That front end is not attractive on the Camry!
The Sushi car makes le hungry..
Fugly fish car
This looks nothing like a Camry, it looks like they tried to hard to be like Hyundai/Kia. It’s ugly as hell
Toyota makes garbage now
Same chassis,.. same interior and exterior measurements,.. same side profile,.. how is this "all new"? The best I can give is 60% all new.. The remaining are carried over from the previous model. This is the latest scheme of cost cutting projects for Toyota. This Camry should be priced at least $8000 lower because no full R'n'D required to design this car.
