Just bought a '25 Camry Hybrid AWD LE w/ convenience package to pair with my '22 Supra. It is an AMAZING car. I really suggest people look into the LE over the higher trims. You get better mpg because of the smaller wheels and a LOT of value. The base sound system is more than adequate. The cloth seats are quite comfortable for what they are as well. Just an amazing package at 32k. Real world getting 50 mpg or so with a lot of city and uphill driving (bay/coastal california). Oh and the interior space is exceptional. My fiance are both 6'0", and we can sit behind our own driving position without knees touching. Buy this car.
Ahhh this is what I wanted to know. I had a 2021 RAV4 hybrid that I traded in for a 2023 V6 Camry because I thought it was really struggling going uphill through a mountain pass. So you’re saying this doesn’t struggle uphill? How raucous is 6:33 the engine when you have your foot down going up the hill?
@@Mike.Macmyazka they’re great for performance. They lack some long term comfort ability, but they’re not horrendous on longer trips. 9.5/10 when in the corners, 8/10 for your normal daily rides, 6/10 for longer drives
How is wind noise with the LE at highway speeds? I like the XLE and XSE with the laminated front windows (windshields are all laminated), but the price and like you said, the 16” wheels will be cheaper to buy tires for and probably less noisy on their own and much better for pothole roads in the Midwest. If I were to do it, it’d be paired to my 2006 big turbo/heavily modified GTI and my ND1 Miata. Wife has a ‘21 Highlander XLE V6.

@geraldguerrero4800 All I did was point out feature content that Toyota omits from the Camry, and you assume that I drive a Kia because of a noticeable critique?

My sisters 2002 feels roomier, seats and ride are more comfortable and it's much quieter. The interior materials, except the headliner, feel more upscale in the old Camry. All surfaces, including rear doors, are soft touch. In the 2021, the seats feel harder, ride is stiffer and louder, and it feels smaller inside, not to mention the cheaper plastics and harder materials.
Although one is significantly older than the other, the SE is a LE with a sportier bumper on it. A more direct comparison is XLE to XLE. And the previous generation which your neighbours have was known to have super stiff seating which is rectified is this newer generation.
I agree. My mom traded her 2006 LE after owning it for 16 years for a 2022 LE and I was shocked at how cheap the new interior feels as well as the lack of space compared to her old Camry. However, I do prefer a firmer ride as her old one to me felt floaty and lacked steering feel. I get all this cost cutting goes into other things like safety features, technology, efficiency, and the chassis. I remember she had to specifically order her old Camry with side airbags as they were optional back then. On the other hand, I do appreciate how Toyota makes the 25 Camry hybrid only with a lot of standard features on the LE like rear air vents, wireless phone charging, blind spot monitoring and a spare tire on a hybrid isn’t common. The LE also gets the best gas mileage of all the trims due to its smaller wheels.
@@arhamkhakwani5851 the SE is more than just a bumper change. SE, SXE and TRD have sport tuned suspensions and other things. I just rented a 2022 Camry with 80000km on the clock. Ignoring the creamy doors and other minor issues from a rough rental life, it was brilliant. It drove really well, the suspension was solid, the steering was tight and accurate, the transmission was good, the engine had enough power, and overall it was an easy, smooth and relaxing drive. I love vented seats and would totally pay extra for them but no memory? No memory is a dealbreaker, I share my cars with my wife, having to manually adjust everything is too much especially because toyota just couldnt be bothered to add the function to an already electric seat.
Perhaps you live somewhere less dusty. In our experience, shiny black plastic looks fine when it's new and clean. But it quickly collects dust, fingerprints, and scratches.

I'm hard to please: I'd wish for virtually everything this new Camry offers, but in a smaller size, while the Corolla - just about the right size - is too much of an "economy car" in every way. The AI generated outro is 😂😂. As an owner of two (stellar) Camrys in the past, this Camry in the XSE configuration would be my choice even over more expensive luxury car brands. There is just no denying it's DNA.
I like your reviews. But I wish you would review the more affordable base LE model too.
Micah, that might be a tick in the middle of that red spot, I'm concerned.
I am soooo stoked to see a real full sized spare tire in 2024
Which one is your daily drive car?
This Camry is a nice enough car and not yet ruined by Toyota’s poorly executed attempts at newer technology. But do people still want cars? Seems like the whole world is driving trucks and SUVs???
That is in excellent question. I suspect that people who switch to an SUV rarely switch back to a car.
By the whole world, you mean North America?
@@flimgenco I mean in countries where people are wealthy enough to own their own vehicles and where the governments haven’t put heavy legislative restrictions on their freedoms. 👍
@@edhcb9359 and you really think that’s just North America.
@@flimgenco You love hiding behind putting words in other people’s mouths…don’t you? 😂
I thought she said “but can you stick a person there?” 😂
Camrys are now over $40K and it's not even a loaded XLE ?! It wasn't that long ago when the Lexus ES started at about that price.
The power bulge and upper bumper area is a bit reminiscent of the 1987 Supra to me.
Now I can't unsee it. I choose to believe that was the designers intent.
@Micah switch your gopro cameras to DJI
The camera that's mounted nearest me in the car actually is an Osmo Action 4. In shaky scenarios it's less stable than our GoPros. But it also never overheats. Right now we're waiting for the Action 5 release. If it looks solid we'll switch over the rest of our cameras.
The loss of the v6 is a tragedy 😭
At us30k it's a great car. Let's leave it at that
Where can I get that AW11 T-shirt?
It's nice and sporty but the bumper grill is not nice.
I love vented seats and would totally pay extra for them but no memory? No memory is a dealbreaker, I share my cars with my wife, having to manually adjust everything is too much especially because toyota just couldnt be bothered to add the function to an already electric seat.
I love shiny black plastic. I don't understand the hate
Perhaps you live somewhere less dusty. In our experience, shiny black plastic looks fine when it's new and clean. But it quickly collects dust, fingerprints, and scratches.
I for one am happy that there are a few women reviewing cars on UA-cam that are not showing a whole bunch of legs with their butts and chest hanging out. That has really gotten lame and kind of cheap and cheesy.... THAT'S RIGHT..I SAID IT !!!
Any new car I look at online I make sure it has a spare tire which I know isn't a big deal to a lot of people but I dont want to be stuck somewhere
I'm hard to please: I'd wish for virtually everything this new Camry offers, but in a smaller size, while the Corolla - just about the right size - is too much of an "economy car" in every way. 'Guess Toyota doesn't see a market for a somewhat-smaller, upper-level Camry-type car (they might say, "that's what Audi is for").
