To me they sound somewhat metallic, especially compared to the Warchal Ambers. Your Dominat Dynamo recording seems to suggest tha those give most power. WHat ones do you actually like most?
Evah Pirazzi Gold: On my violin was an improvement but after three weeks, I felt it was wow! Viola E P Gold had similar; it was thrilling and worth the spend. Southern Hampshire, UK.
Did you say that you put the strings on your instrument just THIS morning? I'd like a follow-up to know what they sound like in a few days and then also how long you are happy with them. For premium-priced strings, one would like them to last for awhile.
I strung the viola up and played for a whole day before making the video! This ensured the strings were well broken in! For purposes of the video, I showed putting the strings on! Thank you for your input!
@@annfrederking1878 For me, after almost a year of pirazzi gold, they lost some of the golden tone, but they still sounded better than d'dario prelude, which are entry-level strings. The cheap ones struggle to react to double stops, legato scales and higher positions, so I've switched to vision solo. Less expensive, but they still sounded warm.
Greetings. Since good quality Viola string sets are on the pricey side, I always view Your string demos before I ourchasw a set, My first 100 % success was with the Warchall Brilliant set, fallowed by Dominant Pro and the Spirocore Thungston C. However, the Evah Pirazzi Gald I found that in both Violin as well as Viola is Anemic, sterile can not perform type.
I love your video! Its great that you make content for violists. Now to my question, I have searched youtube for review of Evah Pirazzi Silver (Green) Viola strings and found none, but I have read the D and G strings are preffered over Golds. What is your personal opinion on this and will you perhaps make a review on them? Thank you! 🎻😃
Which do you like best - 1. EVAH GOLD, 2. RONDO, 3. PI ? I am using a red winding JARGAR A and all metal A strings just do not sound warm enough for me. Suggestions?
Hello viola bear! Definitely my answer would be Rondo... I made a video of it last year. Thomastik-infeld Rondo Strings Review by Ronald Houston ua-cam.com/video/F6OmZzmMfpw/v-deo.html and plan to make an update very very soon ... Give them a try! They are wonderful! The evah pirazzi gold is good too..

@@RonaldHouston Thank you for the clarification. That fine point wasn't clear in the video. I'd still like a follow-up to see how well they last.

Any reviews in progress for Evah Gold viola rope core?
Hello… I have used the rope core but it is a bit soft for my liking!
