- Ronald Houston, Professor of Viola and Violin at Southern Methodist University Meadows School of the Arts reviews and tries the new Dynamo Strings by Thomastik for Viola. These strings are premium and show off the broad and warm, colorful qualities of a viola. It's exciting to try new strings of this calibur!

Wow... these strings sound and feel great! Enjoy the review and let me know your thoughts!
That sounds amazing, even from here on speakers.
Can you compare these to Obligato?
Yet another informative and insightful introduction to a great set of strings.
Thanks!! The sound of these strings is noticeably superb
How do these compare to the Rondos by Thomastik?
Love it!❤
Thank you for a great video!
My pleasure!
They sound fantastic!
Thanks, as always for such a detailed analysis. I like the way you break down the qualities you look for in strings.
I wonder if you could compare these to two other premium-priced strings: Dominant Pro and Rondo. I've tried both on your (video) recommendation, and currently prefer Rondo.
Great suggestion!
Interesting review! Does anyone can tell me the name of the piece played at 2:12? Heard it already but cant remember the name.
It's the Andante & Rondo Ongarese by Weber! Such a lovely piece on viola ❤
@@Katherinosaurus Thank you! It definitely is. :)
