Wonderful! Great that you preserved this film, even as the USPS lost it. Ironic, that in digitizing it for Rose Marie, it was saved! She's therefore responsible for this existing at all. Say, that guy Monte - isn't he also in "The Woman Haters," - that absolutely great musical short with the Three Stooges?
Stop with the Shirley Temple abuse. Shirley said she was punished at four by being out in a black box time out on the set of the shoddy studio she worked for. Yes was really crappy but drama has overblown it into a lifetime of abuse which never happened, certainly not once she went to Fox. Even Shirley said in her autobiography that the time out in the black box made her realize at a young age that time was money. She never felt particularly traumatized by it and continued to enjoy what she did. Please listen to her own story before Tik Tok drama
The best part of the short is the section with Arthur Tracy singing which is why he is billed first. Rose Marie was annoying and not funny. That number she sang was beyond awful… I assume she was trying to be funny 🥱

You are definitely correct! Monte did appear in that Columbia Pictures short that launched the Three Stooges series for that studio. 😁😁😁😁😁
