Changing one's birth name is like slapping your parents in the face. It's disrespectful and unnecessary. This is especially true if it's done for the anticipation of greater recognition and or financial gain. It's like selling-out, to perhaps an Agent or Studio Mogul, while at the same time being ashamed of your Father.
She is funny and charming. And amazingly talented.
This Cy Coleman/Dorothy Fields is in great hands with Rose Marie. It sounds as though the song was written just for her!
What a wonderful performer!
I'm so glad that she lived long enough to see her legacy preserved and secure right here, through the miracle of UA-cam!
So much fun! Thanks for sharing.
She's a true show business treasure!
She was actually happily married for 18 years.
The old, I can't get a man routine, served her well!
Ya gotta love Rose Marie. 😍 It's just the right thing to do.
We once had entertainers.
Rosemarie was a classy lady....RIP 😂
Love and miss the incredible Rose Marie. ♥
Sensational.
The world is a lot darker without her here.
Wonderful - except for that one awful lyric, in the ending tag . . . . . :-(
Nothing awful about it.
OMG, she's good !
I can't believe it's the same Rose Marie. Her voice changed dramatically.
Age does that to people
@@michaelhewinson3886 Not age. SMOKING.

You must be a delight at parties.
She was amazing.
