Not only impressive work but you’re editing is getting better too - rad music choices! 💪🏻 Also major props for going to school, working a job, and THEN making all this progress happen as well. 👊🏻
Haha, great stuff. I got my first Charger when I was 16. Yeah, they were cheap back then. The body was good, and I put my time into mechanical work. The thing just kept getting better, a Fantastic sleeper. Time when on, heading towards 40 years, multiple Mopars later and a lot of body work these days too. Yup, you got the bug. Awesome to watch you, congrats doing it. It not only saves the $. You’ll keep learning more and more. Hoping more suppliers catch wind, and come on board 🤙
Firstly how many holes do you think you drilled second for a young man like yourself your motivation is off the chart and the experience you have with metal fabrication will take you to new heights in life keep up the good work. Also I been wondering how old are you anyway
You are doing wonderful, love seeing how much work and material it takes.....don't change a thing brother your videos are awesome 👌 keep it up .....AMD are doing great by making the material available for you ....HATS OF TO AMD
i just finished the exact same project on a similarly ratty 1967 charger. never done this level of metalwork before, but i'm real proud with how it all came out! i w as careful and took my time and did the best work i could. and now the car has floors again! got my fresh 440/727 in a few days ago. everyday this car is closer to being on the road again. what a great feeling! nice job on yours. always cool to see somebody with some experience do the work and realize i'm not so bad myself haha.
This is one hell of a project you took on here. You have to replace almost every single panel on this car. It is going to take 6-12 months or more to finish restoring it. I've been watching the entire process so far and I'll watch it through to the end.
It is impressive the amount of extra work that you are doing to make it not only correct, but better than correct. You could work on my car anytime! I kinda thought you were in over your head, but you are proving me very wrong. Keep being you!
You are sure doing a good job when your car was new i was doing brakes jobs oil changes etc. i also started working on mopars my self at a young age and now over 50 years still doing it getting ready to put my complete floor in my 69 valiant 440 4 speed can't work like you do anymore but I'm retired now so got plenty of time keep up the good work you will have more work than you can get done great work young man
One of your best overall video. Your workmanship and attention to detail is on another level. I love it!!! The time lapse was educational to say the least. Thank you. I also wanted to mention. You just seem more comfortable on camera. That car is going to be stronger than new. Looking forward to your next video.
Just found you from a comment someone made on another car channel. Dude, you’re killing it! Watching you work makes me wish I was young again when I could do it like you are now. I’m about to start restoring my 67 Camaro and looking for a young guy that I can pay to help me, but they’re hard to find. Keep it up bud, you’re doing a great job and got a sub! Mike from Dawsonville, GA.
Much appreciated, thanks for following along! Definitely tough to find other people my age into this stuff but that’s one plus to UA-cam here, you can meet people all across the country haha
take your time and be patient. mopars can be a test of many things and they will fight you every step of the way. stay positive and keep hammering it out ! good luck !
Impressive work young man. Really Cam, that looks great, when that car was new I had just entered high school. You have great skills, can`t wait to see how this Charger turns out. Austin sent me.
Enjoying these videos, you produce some very good content, and really hope you do well on UA-cam and your channel grows as the work and dedication you put into UA-cam and your builds you deserve it
God to see you doing it the rigthway , Better donig it rigt then twice , Imprest of you ! And wood is A boddymans help , insted of banging dents in the metall , !Cars wont build themselfe , Hard Work will!! Ceep up the good work. Dan in Sweden
Great to see the progress. You have a great sense of detail that will get you far in this career. Have you named the car yet? "Dirt Charger" "Duster Chaser?" How about engine and color? What do you have in mind?
Would it be worth the extra rigidity after doing the spot welds, to go ahead and do all the edges of the metal to the rest of the body. I'm not sure if thats called seam welding?
@@camracing If keeping the inner structure of the car stock, besides adding inner gusset plating behind all the pillars, wouldn't that be the better option if one doesn't want to add a roll cage? Same with the rear quarters reinforcing them all.
Hard no. I’ve actually talked with a company about that but I just can’t bring myself to do it. It would be a huge door opener for future endeavors but this car needs a V8
Young man you make climbing through the engine compartment and under the car to easy. Love the progress.
Haha, might be easy but not the most fun. Thank you!
@@camracing I had to do the same thing last night and it about killed me trying to get back out. Lol
I had serious doubts when I first saw that thing. My respect for you grows with every episode
Very much appreciated! It was definitely rough, and still is, but I think it’ll be worth it all in the end
Not only impressive work but you’re editing is getting better too - rad music choices! 💪🏻 Also major props for going to school, working a job, and THEN making all this progress happen as well. 👊🏻
Thanks! Getting comments about the video quality definitely helps when editing, cause I’m not sure what I’m doing lol.
@@camracing how long does the video editing take? when do you find the time for that?

Did AMD give you the sheet metal
Looks great
outstanding job....
Would it be worth the extra rigidity after doing the spot welds, to go ahead and do all the edges of the metal to the rest of the body. I'm not sure if thats called seam welding?
Debatable, it would be adding extra weight for no particular gain. The car will have a full cage/chassis it it’ll have plenty of rigidity when done
@@camracing If keeping the inner structure of the car stock, besides adding inner gusset plating behind all the pillars, wouldn't that be the better option if one doesn't want to add a roll cage? Same with the rear quarters reinforcing them all.
You need to try and connect with Muscle Rod Shop. They have a channel.
why bother grinding the welds flush if carpets going over it?
looking great
🤜💥🤚🤘looking good
what's the diameter of your drill for the the spotwelds bud ? thanks !
sorry just saw the answer 10 secs later haha !! keep up the good work !
you can see my channel btw ! in French with subtitles :p
Well Done!
