Back after a small break from videos but I have spent the past few weeks sorting out some things on the Duster. I finally have it dialed in the best it has been thus far and plan to enjoy it for a while now. Charger videos resume beginning next week. I finally got the car running and driving after the last two months with just enough time to make it to power tour this year. There were a few hiccups, as expected with a new build, but I am happy to say it was a great trip overall. Solid progress over the past week or two with the engine bay and the new LS TKX. I know I did not show a whole lot of work in this video and that was mainly due to getting things done. The deadline is closing in fast, but we're keeping solid pace as of right now. This video is a little all over the place but a lot has been going on. Making good progress on the core support as well as the new drivers side fender. The bigger project was the new motor mounts which I am very happy with. One more step into building the best version of this car yet. Wrapping up some small detail pieces and getting them crossed off the list. Not the most exciting things, but things that have to be done. Let me know what you guys think about this style of a video. Fabricating rear panels on my 1970 DODGE CHARGER from SCRATCH

A couple more steps completed and crossed off the list. I am honestly glad the rear section of the car is wrapped up for good. That was a ton of tedious work...and honestly not the most exciting. Onto the front of the quarter panels to get them set in place for good. New @autometaldirect Catalogs! : www.autometaldirect.com/catalogs.php For daily updates follow my Instagram: cam_ra...

I am pretty happy with the way this turned out between the video itself and the pieces on the car. It definitely took a lot of time, but I would say it was well worth it in the end. Stoked to have another few projects crossed off the list and we'll keep moving forward with progress on the rear section of the car. The Duster is back in for upgrades & changes!
Why doesn’t this kid got more subscribers he’s doing things top car builder do or wish they can do dang it I love the process doing fantastic job
I like the rockers, very similar to what I did on my Firebird, but I used 2x3 rectangular tubing, one thing to keep in mind is that you need to allow for water drainage out of your panels, especially your rockers, anywhere you have closed panels moisture will collect and rot it out
I don’t get why UA-cam never shows some of these videos, good to see you back at it
2nd time watching,,,,,,love the charger build,,,,,,,,,,Yeee Yeee 😊
Great to see progress on the Charger! I’m sure it’ll turn out great.
Cool 😎 !
Cool 😎 !
Awesome
Looks great !!
great seeing the progress again
Your doing a great job, so much hard work but attention to detail you really should be proud of yourself, you really are going to end up with a one of a kind charger, it will be a show stopper, keep up the good work sending love from across the pond here in England x
Glad you remembered the door bite problem I mentioned. As always your work is amazing and you keep improving yourself. Can't wait to see what you wind up with in the end. I think I see what you are going for... lol.
Great video,,,,,,,, Yeee Yeee 😊
Looks great ! 👍 keep up the good work
Good afternoon,,,,,,, Yeee Yeee
Very very nice
What is your plan for the charger when it is finally done?
Cale , your craftsmanship and fabrication skills are , far above & beyond anything the factory 🏭 Slammed out , back in the day
Sharp as a tack on everything from the way your workstation is organised to your method of working and welds etc. Superb. You're putting many of us to shame...! keep on keeping on Cale!
Cale nobody is doubting your skills man, but we’d love to see this thing finished sooner than later before life gets in your way. You’re trying to build a show car that would normally take an entire full time team to complete with your spare time. Don’t get crazy over the smallest details, you’re doing an incredible job on it. Perfection can wait.
Was thinking the same thing - would be a shame to see this abandoned at some point in time. We want to see you roll down the highway in this thing - soon!
Looks good. Everything moves when you start welding thin metal.
Every car will have some type of body filler. I understand doing it right, but give yourself some leeway. Even from factory they were never 100% straight and true. Most people wont see those small imperfections, especially if they see all the work and craftsmanship spent in that car from what was. Love the car, keep up the great work, and keep these videos coming!
SOOOOOOOO happy to see this thing again
You are the master…..iam watching from the Netherlands…not many mopars in my country 😢
Thanks for update, I have been wondering how things are going there. Sometimes you have to take a pause, step back and think how to continue with projects. Good thing you have Duster to keep you busy :D
Next level! 👏
Hey cal still watching bro was super excited when I saw you crazy ass lol keep plugging brotha some of us love perfection I'm not one of them all thought I just had to replace my trans and b4 I had a shoft kit now I don't and I'm like ordering parts lol never done one but im not dealing with that slippage bs lol
Being picky on how you want that car to look is a good thing. In the end you can say I should have done this and that.
I feel your pain. Unfortunately it will always be the same. As your skill set evolves, so does your perspective on your previous works. I still own a car that I bought in the mid 90's and did a bunch of fab on in the early 00's. It takes everything in me to not tear it all the way apart and redo it. My financial position, and therefore my tools and supplies are eons better. As is my skill level and patience as I've aged. The flip side is this: It was built well enough to survive 22 years, and not a lot of people still have a hot rod they built themselves 22 years ago, that is still as it was and a running driving car. It's a lifelong struggle, but it leads to super kick ass expression of your creativity. Keep on keepin' on! Good to see an update from you. I love this project.
All of those cars from the factory were not even and straight, the heigh on each side and the sheet metal never lined up. I like the detail, but if its a restoration, then you are way closer to correct than factory. If you ever think you are overthinking, you proabably are and need to take a break from it. you probably did the right thing to walk away from it for a while.
We back baby!!!!!!
Glad you’re back. I was scared something happened and you were gone. Love your build.
If you go full unibody, you can get a lot more rigidity, less squeaks and rattles and a flat bottom becomes far more achievable. My 2 cents anyway! You are doing great work.
I admire your determination and your high standards. Keep going, you got this!
Great vid bro! 😊
Oh man, Cale. If your goal is to make every panel on your Charger laser-straight, you're gonna be at it a LOOONG time. I love these cars and I can tell you there wasn't a straight square foot on these things. -K
Yup years just make it good not perfect you can do another one perfect later on
Hell yea man!
Thought u gave up on it 🙃
Looks way better!
WOW. You are definitely the most amazingly talented young man on UA-cam. Your dad is very proud. 😊😊😊
Glad you are back on the charger videos ... 🎉
Thanks for a new video.
can’t wait to see more videos on the charger again.
