Hey @Knightwing01 , I don't believe it and if it is true I'm not excited about it . I'm not excited about or will I buy the suicide squad game and Gotham Knights was horrible. I don't trust them to make an awesome Batman game again.
I genuinely want Roger Craig smith to voice Batman in the Arkham timeline from now on, I think he did a great job in Arkham origins, and I feel like he sounds enough like Kevin Conroy that I think it’d be okay. I know he’s not as good but he’s the next best thing imo
Bro, you're not lying. That man is like very close to Kevin Conroy's Batman. And I believe that he would be the only person I would have respect for and would be respectful to Kevin's name for doing that character again. But in younger form he could also be older but we will 👀
Roger Craig Smith is the only acceptable voice actor for Arkham Batman other than Kevin Conroy in my opinion seeing as he voiced him before Kevin passed. Hopefully they’ll use him.
Nobody will ever be as good as Kevin Conroy. Nobody. But, I do believe Roger Craig Smith has the range to play an older Batman that could work for the Arkham series going forward. It'll sound different to Conroy, there's no getting around that, but it could be close enough to work with a bit of suspension of disbelief.
Elseworlds stories could make for great Batman Games. Especially Batman Beyond. Assassins Creed games jump all over the place. Batman could do the same kind of thing.
My idea for Arkham Beyond was that Talia cloned Bruce with his DNA and named him Damian Wayne. She then raised him as her own son and trained him into being an assassin to kill Batman, but he's stopped and his memories are erased. Bruce then gives custody of the child to the McGinnis and he starts a new life as Terry. Around his time in highschool, though, he begins regaining his memories, as well as his training and the game would focus on both stopping crime in Gotham City and struggling with who he really is, ultimately choosing to be Terry, the new Batman, rather than Damian. I think it'd work because the Arkhamverse continuously (and thankfully, IMO) ignored Damian until the end in order to make Tim the definitive Robin, and him being Terry would be a refreshing twist to his origin story.
If it’s another Arkham game, then it has to be a sequel to Origins with Roger Craig Smith reprising his role as Batman. Since Kevin Conroy has passed away, they can’t make another sequel, unless the developers are willing to use AI to replicate his voice with his family’s permission of course.
No Ai voice that's kinda creepy. I think resetting the timeline to an earlier set point. Or a new universe like from a Flashpoint would be for the best. Bring back Roger and start again.
@@stevensweeney5596 origins has a lot of lore issues. One issue is that it shows Harley and joker meeting at blackgate, even though it was established in Arkham asylum that they met in the asylum. It’s little contradictions likes these that set some people off. Me personally, I believe origins to be canon.
@@the_frick Origins is canon end of story. The Asylum bios and tapes aren't canon as shown by ARKHAM CITY, conflicting with Hugo Stranges character bio, the Zsaz time-frames for his tapes don't make sense with the confirmed canon comic "The road to the Asylum" which is minutes before the game, and it mentions Bruce within the same month of Summer sometime managed to take down Scarecrow, Zsaz, and Joker in the same months, meaning Zsaz's tapes were wrong showing the tapes and bios are jusf cool things, not canon
Feels like given their current direction Battle for the Cowl might turn into a competive multiplayer live service. Batman Beyond could be justifiable if they want to go back to a story driven singular player narrative that's a soft reboot.
Battle for the cowl? Hell no, there's only one Batman, thats what makes Batman unique and also keeps his status, as THEE BATMAN. Having someone take over the cowl makes no sense, why would Nightwing or robin be Batman when they can be themselves. Having them become batman makes no growth for their actual character. Cause they aren't the actual Batman, they just turn into a copycat. Similar to miles morales for Spiderman, he's literally a remake of the same character, it's beyond boring and lazy
@@PLUTOXGOAT Except Bruce cannot continue on as Batman in the Arkhamverse. Scarecrow basically exposed him to the world. If there's going to be another Batman it has to be somebody else.
@@michaelmacleod6517 who says the next protector has to be Batman? Robin, Nightwing aren't Batman, they're different characters with different backstorys and skillsets. Point is, Batman is gone, someone else can rise to protect Gotham and they don't have to BE batman to do so, cause they aren't lol
@@PLUTOXGOATDude those characters have become Batman in other universes it wouldn’t crazy to incorporate that into the Arkham verse. If anything I would want either Nightwing or Damian to become Batman but idk how Damian would work since Talia died in Arkham City but who knows maybe they’ll make it work somehow.
I just really wanted a Batman Beyond Arkham game. I feel like with how knight ended it could’ve set up a pretty interesting take on Batman beyond and it could’ve been a pretty good continuation of the Arkham games, that and I just really want a beyond game. But Kill the Justice League kinda gets rid of that possibility. Might sound weird but I really don’t like it being in the Arkham universe and Batman literally destroying his home and faking his death was basically for no reason now if he’s just suddenly ok with everyone knowing he’s alive and that he’s Bruce Wayne. But what do I know, I’m just weird I guess.
I agree. Plus, I hate that the Justice League and huge threats like Brainiac are not only canon, but now they’re also shown in full detail. I preferred when Arkham was much more grounded, almost like a darker version of the animated series.
@@ImTheReverseStill so weird how they're trying to fit that into Arkham timeline. So Batman fakes his death for years after his identity is exposed only to join the most high profile superhero team...
@@montecristosmith2343 Exactly, why would he destroy his families own house and make the world think he was killed by some unknown criminal blowing up his house just for Superman or whoever to stroll up to the wreckage and poke around, find the bat cave and infiltrate it or whatever and just ask bats if he’s perfectly fine with showing up out of nowhere, as if the whole world wouldn’t be confused as to what the purpose of blowing up his house was in the first place. Only way they can fix it is by writing out the knight fall protocol from ever existing.
The game is going to have a lot of explaining to do that’s for sure. I heard a rumor it was supposed to be separate like Gotham Knights but WB pushed it into the Arkhamverse to bring those fans in and I kind of believe it. Joker is back, Ivy is back, Deadshot is different, Batman is back, I know the comics and movie aren’t canon but this game removes any possibility of those even being taken seriously anymore. Too much has changed and too many repercussions have been reversed.
Roger Craig Smith can definitely take the mantle for Batman's new voice, he's no stranger to voicing young characters then age it if the script requires a older version like how he does for Ezio so he could voice a older Batman and not sound forced
There probably won't be another Arkham game like the trilogy. The game will probably have the name Arkham but a different gameplay, different story. Yeah I do believe an Arkham game is coming, will it have the same Arkham feel we just have to wait & see. Thanks for the amazing video Luke God bless you & Amber
I want to see him find out about Damian and train him while having a robin almost the whole game with him and then having to fight off Talia inside and outside of Gotham
@@meechgrvy3126I'd rather they don't make Talia a villain in the Arkhamverse. The Talia we got in Arkham City was based on the pre Grant Morrison Talia. And I'd prefer it stay that way. I never liked Grant Morrison turning Talia into a psycho and we already have her as a villain in Gotham Knights.
Rocksteady should’ve made a battle for the cowl type game and Damien Wayne would’ve been a surprise character….but at the same time Bruce is still alive that’s the only roadblock.
I wouldn't expect an arkham game, they will probably support S Squad for a year. And then enter what ever game they will pretend to make, that development will take probably over 5 years if not more
@@BillBlazejowskiyeah but this version of the character is Kevins. It would be like Pattinson playing Batman in Dark Knight Rises. Reboot the series and start again. It also gives the new devs the freedom to do whatever they want.
@@inshal6420 I understand that, but you can't gatekeep an extremely popular game series because one man unfortunately passed away, Batman deserves new games for the next generation
@@BillBlazejowski Yeah I can understand that perspective as well. I still lean towards a reboot because if we want cool stories like Arkham City again I think its better if the devs have full creative control. Even with Origins we saw that WB Montréal wanted to do a more grounded 52 Batman instead of the colourful post crisis atmosphere Rocksteady went with where Batman is wearing underwear outside his suit. They also had a cool Bane story they had to undo because they had to make it fit with the other games.
Either Roger Craig Smith for Arkham Batman, or Will Friedle (OG voice like Conroy) for Batman Beyond. Either of those directions are safe and will be great for fans
They’re not associated with WB in anyway, but Sucker Punch could also pull off a Batman game. Ghost of Tsushima is already very Arkham-like and they were originally rumored to be working on a Spider-Man game before it was revealed to be Insomniac back in the day.
The next game will definitely be a reboot. Rocksteady/WB messed up the minute the Damien Wayne knight sequel was trashed. The positive note is that Rocksteady can finally make the Batman game they’ve always wanted with current gen tech. Based off of knights concept art, even ACity, devs wanted a massive gotham with art deco sky scrapers, populated streets, neon lights, etc etc, a true Gotham based off of Rocksteadys art style. Also judging from the popularity of Robert Pattinson Batman, and success of arkham knight, expect more dark and gritty M rated Batman games going forward. The reboot should also go back to the Asylum play style, where Batman felt more human and vulnerable. The only thing that gave him an edge on criminal was his intelligence, gadgets, and combat skills. Sort of like BTAS Batman.
Honestly them picking up after where origins ended or you could do another Batman in the different universe and it feel like a Arkham Game. Origins got so much shit for no reason. I enjoyed origins so much and the story was so well done. I would love to see Roger Craig Smith return into the role as Batman
Origins got disdain from Canon errors for future games, lots of bugs an over use of Joker and mediocre last act. It gets praise from great gameplay, Challenge factor, expanded city, fast travel, cool boss fights, fun dlc, interesting detective mechanics, the addition of Slade playable and a Die Hard storyline at a Christmas. It's a great game, but also it messed up stuff. So that's why it's not as beloved. Some love it, some don't. Hope that helps.

As much as i love Arkham, I'd love it to end. i have respect for franchises that know they're time is done, more than franchises that cash in for nostalgia. 'cough, cough' star wars, marvel, etc.
how is this man not the creative writer/director for rocksteady? somebody get this man his deserved job and let this man give us the Batman game the fans need!
I dont share the Hollywood mindset. As such I will never got a job as a writer for comics, tv or gaming. I'm a free thinker and like to focus my narrative on the world the characters I would write about live in. That's very nice of you, but it would never happen. People can't work with others who don't share 100% identical opinions anymore. If they did, consultant companies like Sweet Baby Inc wouldn't exist.
That nemesis system sounds cool and all, but maybe a little bit difficult to implement. I'm sure that same Mordor Nemesis System could work for Batman with that DC theme. You'd basically be fighting enforcers and new thugs trying to rally others up and build up their rep. Throw a couple big named villains in there and it would be fine. Course, with some of your changes included. Different ways to beat them. More armor. Some counter your counters. Some are heavily weaponized. Others are holding up with hostages somewhere.
I don't remember the name of the company that made shadow of mordor but it would have to be them that makes the batman game since they have the nemesis system patented
Thank you for the video Luke it was amazing I don't know about The next Arkham game or if it's going to happen All I know is you did Amazing with this topic video 💙💙💙
There’s two ways 1. Either ask Roger Craig Smith to return in a story set years after Origins and a few years before Asylum, it could be a story where Bruce is training Tim, he’s already Robin yet has a long way to go. They are in the middle of a case tracking a cop killer, the only major lead they have is his name. Prometheus 2. Batman Beyond, set decades after Suicide Squad, (IDK what’s gonna happen the story so this is just my theory). Bruce Wayne is retired yet training a new Batman, a younger Batman, Terry McGuinness. They are faced with new and familiar threats. Terry is still learning the ropes, his only worry is that can he be as good as Bruce was? Bruce knows he will be better, he just needs Terry to see that.
They should just continue in the Origins timeline, we have a clear starting point story-wise and a voice actor that can continue doing the role of Batman. They’ll never do it of course but that would be the best way to do it.
Can we take a moment to give props for all the thumbnail on this channel. It’s art and grabs my attention. One of favorite channels since I was 18 in 2013
No....make a a follow up to arkham origins.....and remake the other 4.... OR....A BRAND NEW BATMAN JOURNEY....that starts at the start and doesn't take place in just one night. NO BATMAN GAMES WITHOUT BRUCE WAYNE! insomniacs spiderman was excellent untill they put in the miles morales 2 spidermen crap. BATMAN IS BRUCE WAYNE. SPIDERMAN IS PETER PARKER
Monolith are the ppl who made the nemesis system. So them already having a batman type game they can definitely make it work perfectly. Batman and the nemesis system can work 9.5/10
i honestly would love a arkham game after knight focusing on Nightwing or something, maybe even multiple members of the batman family. Just retcon Suicide Squad and make it happen.
I think they should either do a Arkham origins 2 set before asylum. Or just make a new universe/batman world without the Arkham title and start on a clean slate
I like watching the transition between Bruce Wayne into Batman. It being at Wayne Enterprise is conducting a meeting. Wayne at a celebrity function or sporting event. -Major storyline -DLC with Rogues gallery -A visual of the rogues gallery behind bars (Batman Begins) -Ben Affleck modulated voice from BvsS
As someone who is playing Gotham Knights for the first time thanks to gamepass and although I haven't beaten the game yet but. It's just average and at best It's okay and at worst it's disappointing or bad and before Gotham Knights was announced I was sad the Damian Wayne game was cancelled and as I am playing Gotham Knights I wish it wasn't cancelled. Because the game sounded interesting and funny enough when you said you want a Batman game with the Nemesis system well the Damian Wayne Batman game was originally going to have it or planned to implemented it. And even if James Gunn says the Arkham games will continue well one how if the Suicide Squad game story is so bad it completely destroyed the Arkhamverse and especially if the next game or games are bad especially if they do a full on reboot. Lastly if Suicide Squad game turns out to absolute garbage I would put some blame on the devs for the gameplay and story but most of it I blame WB for shutting down a Superman game pitch.
You summed up Gotham Knights perfectly average Game, no one will remember. It happened and it was decent for a month and then just faded into nothingness
Companies like avalanche and Monolith Productions ( Shadow of Mordor and War ) would be fantastic but i think netherrealm and the people that gave us the injustice games would be awesome at a arkham game maybe. Great video , Kwing
My prediction is that a Damien Wayne game is in development, considering The Brave and The Bold movie. But that game will be dependent on the success of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Think about it. Why wasn't Damien Wayne in Gotham Knights... when Talia was the villain?
Interesting, but most people don't like Gotham Knights. Arkham Damian would've worked, had He been Born. Killing his Mom wasn't the best idea storywise for future games.
with Rock-steady being infected with the virus that is Sweetbaby inc I don't if I even want another Arkham game... and it's one of my favorite game trilogies of all time at that
Let’s make something VERY clear: DLCs, skins, new stories and seasons are NOT live service. Live service games are games that are always online, they have a ton of cosmetics, usually in season battle passes that keep encouraging people to spend money. Arkham Knight DLC, 2018 Spider-Man and all of its DLC, BotW, are all examples of great DLC. It gave us more time in that world, more adventures to have. And it’s NOT live service. At all. Live service is Fortnite, Destiny, etc.
A Batman Arkham Beyond needs to happen. I am not familiar with what happens in the Arkham universe after the Arkham Knight ending (if there is anything cannon that's happening in another game at all - I hope not), but having Bruce continuing to fight crime without anyone knowing he's still alive until he becomes old and starts having heart problems, and then basically following the Batman Beyond storyline with Terry becoming Batman would be the sickest thing ever. I do agree with the fact that it would suck to have Bruce/Batman not being played by Kevin (RIP legend) as he's the real OG Batman, but honestly if the game is as good as the other Arkham games and it involves Batman Beyond (which I think it's a cult classic and a lot of batman fans love it) I think people would love it. Arkham Origins was my least favourite game in the series, but it wasn't a bad game, it's actually really great, but it's just about how good the other games were.
I’ve had another thought. I think they could also do a Legendary Edition with Arkham Origins, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight and update the three previous games to the Arkham Knight effects; like how the Mass Effect Trilogy was done for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. In this Arkham Legendary Edition they could add the Batsuit skins for all four games with the skins from all four and add some additional skins. For Arkham City and Arkham Knight, they could do a modification to the Delivery System where Batman gets his suits and set it up so that say in Arkham Knight when the suit is delivered, inside is the Batsuit that you want Batman to wear. For example: You have Batman wearing the Batman 89 Batsuit and when the new suit is delivered, inside is the Batman Returns Batsuit and we see Batman put the suit on. There could also be two versions of each suit, the second version being the one that gets damaged as the game progresses.
One thing i really want and Knight disappointed me with was we were told Knight would be the whole map of Gotham City. I assumed at the time we would be able to go back and forth through all the bridges connected to all Islands in the background of the current game. Being able to go to THE Batcave, Wayne Mansion and even being able to go back to Arkham City, Asylum and possibly the Origins map etc.
I think they tried to import the Arkham Asylum and City maps but the files were either too big or didn’t flesh well with Arkham Knight. Not too sure but it would’ve been cool though 👌
Great take. Pretty odd that the rocksteady devs turned their backs on the revolutionary combat system that they introduced and went with a looter shooter. Completely out of touch. Speaking of the Arkham series, I actually just fired up Arkham Knight the other day and jumped into the challenges (that'll be a forever game, as I can barely get one star on any of them, sheesh lol). Game is still amazing, packed with content, and has extremely high replay value. A current generation version of that would have definitely been in the running for game of the year. Also, yes I still play Gotham Knights every now and then, and while poorly executed it still has a bit of the "soul" of the Arkham series. I have a pretty good imagination so I can force myself to have fun with it sometimes lol.
I think after the flop that was Gotham Knights, WB is gonna be playing things a bit safe going forward…meaning that an Arkham (or Arkham-like) Batman game is definitely coming. And if the Suicide Squad game also flops, that’ll only speed up the development of a new Batman Arkham game.
I wouldn't mind a Batman Arkham Origins Sequal where you get a big city like Knight but can drive the Batcyle around. I definitely wouldnt support a Batman Arkham game taking place post SS:KTJL using Arkham Batman w/out Kevin unless it REALLY inspires me, but I just can't otherwise, but a Sequal to Origins, I wouldn't mind it or a Batman Beyond game. But I'm rooting for a Flash and Superman game which Rocksteady would be amazing at imo.
I really hope they keep making more and more Batman Arkham games (as long as they're still as good as the first 4), both sequels and prequels, but they need to have Roger Craig Smith voice Batman. Kevin Conroy was the goat, but Roger Craig Smith sounds enough like Kevin and he's also a very good voice actor, plus they used him for Arkham Origins when Kevin Conroy was still alive, so I think he would be the perfect person to voice Batman now. I also want Chris Cox back as Deadshot, I like this new guy and I think he could play a cool character, but he's not the Arkham Deadshot, he looks and acts nothing like him (other than the suit, the suit looks like something Arkham Deadshot would wear). And while Mark Hamill was amazing as Joker, if he doesn't want to keep voicing Joker without Kevin Conroy there, then they need to have Troy Baker voice Joker (like he did in Arkham Origins)
given Suicide Squad will likely bomb, I can see it being tossed aside quickly as an elseworlds story rather quickly and easily given how much doesn't line up with Arkham Knight ending
@@kNIGHTWING01 oh I agree, I did that with the first spiderman, but the second one was... not well received by trustworthy friends and now batman seems to be making a lot of similar choices leaving me with no restaurant choices for my comicbook based arkham style combat games... forcing me to just go replay the older ones and go play other genres...
@@kNIGHTWING01 I moved back to Arkham city, Asylum and Knight. Spiderman 2 is really not that impressive I quit my second playthrough (which was already a damn slog) in the final mission where I had to play as MJ. Spiderman 2018/2020 remaster eats it alive.
Batman: BEYOND Arkham, based around terry mcginnis in the batman beyond universe would be nuts. would bring the cyberpunk setting thats very popular right now and the beyond suit has a lot you can do with it in terms of special abilities and gadgets and what not.
I want to see a batman game done in the style of the last hitman trilogy. Episodic stories set on sections of Gotham city with multiple ways to defeat the villains in a small story like the comics. It would use most of the mechanics of the Arkham games but requires you to tune your equipment to a specific villain like Mr freeze is in a chapter so you need the arctic armor to traverse the area but it makes stealth harder because of the loud noise the boots make but it will give you an advantage against freeze tech weapons both him and his thugs use. After you beat the episode you go back to the batcave to take what you've learned to improve your gear to be more efficient the next time you go up against freeze but at the same time freeze will adapt to your tactics and create safeguards so it won't be easy the next time. Another place you can go is Arkham where you can interact with your foes and improve the security to keep the villains in longer. The Episodic system would give the villains more time to shine and be a singular threat with their own unique goons and plans and it would allow the maps to be populated with civilians to make Gotham more lively. Each map would not be locked to one villain take ace chemicals you can fight every villain there each with their own agendas and you could even get surprised by a two or more villain team up. The idea is to create unique events for maximum replay value and wb could release a new map every couple of months introducing new villains and new ways to play all leading up to the complete edition called the long knight where all the maps are combined to create a living breathing Gotham with random scenarios popping up all over the city and you have to use everything you've learned to take down the rogues gallery. This is what I want.
15:25 - atleast good news here, they opened a new studio nearly direct after they left off- rumors also saying with "old devs" from the Arkham Series. Hundred Star Games London
WBM lost the magic they once held. Sadly GK is evidence of this, not just with the Gameplay but the narrative as well. Based on current Game dev trends, they tend to consultant the wrong agencies for help completing thier game
Villains needed for the next game: Cluemaster, Condiment King, The Ventriloquist, Gaggy, Kite Man, Prometheus, KG Beast, Great White Shark, and most importantly Killer Moth.
I'm confused where James Gunn keeps confirming how AAA games are being made that tie into his DC film universe going forward... where they're releasing SSKTJ in couple weeks where it's a continuation of the Arkham verse... and he also confirmed that an Arkham game is coming...? So they're continuing the Arkham verse, opening up the wide DC universe made by Rocksteady, and now further expanding expanding the Arkhamverse with another Batman game... but also starting a new AAA video game universe connected to the films brand new DC universe? Is the Wonder Woman game connected to James Gunns universe? Is that his WW? She's not Rocksteadys WW... that's confirmed.
Batman died in Arkham Knight. How does Bruce continue on as Batman when the rest of the world knows he's Batman now? To me, it doesn't even make sense to even have him in Suicide Squad in the first place when Bruce himself should be in hiding, or living a new life away from Gotham and all it's miseries.
I hope it takes places in the 20’s or 40’s era. Make it a Noir style crime drama. And for Pete’s sake make Batman a solo hero again. No more teaming up.
When the person in charge says it’s gonna happen then it’s gonna happen. There’s many ways to go forward with Arkham. A sequel to suicide squad, sequel to Arkham Knight or a sequel to Origins
I agree if they do a new Arkham game then it should be either a sequel to Arkham Origins or a Flashpoint point type thing, but truthfully I don't want to play another Arkham game if Kevin Conroy Arkham Batman isn't in so I'm just going to keep playing the ones with him in them because Kevin Conroy has always been my favorite Batman and no one can replace him
Gotham City Imposters is discount Fortnite with a bastardization of Legendary Property. I'm mad that you can't use Origins' DLCs to complete the story.
I think the only way to make another Arkham game that people will like is another Arkham Origins. Not a single person will be happy or willing to play a new Arkham game without Kevin Conroy as Batman. I’d be up to see another Arkham game early in Batman’s career you could bring back Roger Craig Smith. I really don’t think a sequel to Arkham Knight without Kevin should happen. It feels like ignoring the tragic loss of the best and one true Batman.
Great video! All your thoughts were on point and the solutions you mentioned to possible solve the mess up are kind of doable and practical I think roger craig would be a great option to voice batman as he did a phenomenal job in origins. Also, I feel that Naughty dog would be the optimal studio for next arkham game because they have nailed the 'sequels' in a franchise and they have lots of experience in how to continue a franchise(uncharted). Avalanche would be great too, but they have yet to release a sequel. Making the first game is always easy than a sequel, so I feel naughty dog is the way to go. Idk whether is is possible or not with the exclusive ps games and stuff but if yes, then we would not only get a great batman game, but also a game that would feel like an actual sequel.
Ok. I would think the next step is to start fresh. We can have an Arkham like style game but we don’t need a continuation (especially since Kevin is resting peacefully). The story can be focused on Damian being the new Batman with Bruce gone after his battle to the death with the joker. Or it can be Bruce dealing with the villains of Gotham while Training Damian to look after the city, as even Bruce knows he won’t be around forever. Can’t stop myself but we also have to include more of the family in the story, Red Robin and Spoiler, Nightwing & Batgirl CuZ those members are a packaged deal. As far as voice acting, I would prefer Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne, he filled in the role quite well in the long Halloween. As for voice
I think honestly it's gonna be another prequel. It seems like the only option they would likely do. It will probably take place a few years after Arkham Origins but years before Asylum.
I feel like whatever next Batman game should just start a new series from scratch in a new universe entirely. Continuing Arkham without Kevin wouldn’t be the same and the story ended already with knight.
Bruce Greenwood is widely accepted as a great Batman voice. He was Batman in "Young Justice" and "Under the red hood" I would also accept Jensen Ackles, he did very well in the last couple animated movies. I mean, what are they supposed to do? Kevin passed away! Does that mean no one can ever make a Batman game again? That would be stupid.
I’m sure some one brought this up Arkham city had a boss fight with Mr,frezze where you had to attack him differently each time . Now a full game like that would be awesome.

@@coolmuzt that’s actually pretty cool, merging terry and Damian into one
If it’s another Arkham game, then it has to be a sequel to Origins with Roger Craig Smith reprising his role as Batman. Since Kevin Conroy has passed away, they can’t make another sequel, unless the developers are willing to use AI to replicate his voice with his family’s permission of course.
No Ai voice that's kinda creepy. I think resetting the timeline to an earlier set point. Or a new universe like from a Flashpoint would be for the best. Bring back Roger and start again.
@@kNIGHTWING01 massive agree
You do realize that origins is connected to the other arkham games right?
@@stevensweeney5596 origins has a lot of lore issues. One issue is that it shows Harley and joker meeting at blackgate, even though it was established in Arkham asylum that they met in the asylum. @@the_frick Origins is canon end of story. The next logical step story wise (if not rebooted) would be either battle for the cowl, or Batman beyond.
Batman had sex with Batgirl in the beyond universe and got her pregnant then she had a miscarriage.

Rocksteady should’ve made a battle for the cowl type game and Damien Wayne would’ve been a surprise character….but at the same time Bruce is still alive that’s the only roadblock.
That is what the canceled game by WB Montreal was about before Gotham knights .

I wouldn't expect an arkham game, they will probably support S Squad for a year. And then enter what ever game they will pretend to make, that development will take probably over 5 years if not more
Likely true
Batman beyond is the only exception for a continuation of the arkham series. Suicide squad does not live up to the name arkhamverse
It won't be the same without Kevin.
Batman existed for 50 years before Kevin put his stamp on it and will continue to exist well after his passing, he understood that.
@@BillBlazejowskiyeah but this version of the character is Kevins. It would be like Pattinson playing Batman in Dark Knight Rises. Reboot the series and start again. It also gives the new devs the freedom to do whatever they want.

@@BillBlazejowski Yeah I can understand that perspective as well.
@@inshal6420nah the series should continue Kevin is replaceable

We're they talking about suicide squad or an actual arkham game
They just MIGHT still have a surprise up their sleeves. A current gen Arkham game would be great!
Sequel to Arkham origins.
Hope that helps.

how is this man not the creative writer/director for rocksteady? somebody get this man his deserved job and let this man give us the Batman game the fans need!
Just do a Batman Beyond video game. You get to use a different actor to play an aged Bruce. It's the easiest route that they could go
That nemesis system sounds cool and all, but maybe a little bit difficult to implement.
There’s two ways
1. Either ask Roger Craig Smith to return in a story set years after Origins and a few years before Asylum, it could be a story where Bruce is training Tim, he’s already Robin yet has a long way to go. They are in the middle of a case tracking a cop killer, the only major lead they have is his name. Prometheus
I honestly think Kevin would have passed the torch to someone else, like Roger Craig Smith. He would have wanted his Batman to continue.
A follow up from Arkham Origins. Between Joker being captured and the start of Arkham Asylum. With the actors from Origins
They should just continue in the Origins timeline, we have a clear starting point story-wise and a voice actor that can continue doing the role of Batman. They’ll never do it of course but that would be the best way to do it.
Sweet Baby ruined Spiderman 2, and is currently ruining Batman and the Justice League.
Can we take a moment to give props for all the thumbnail on this channel. It’s art and grabs my attention. One of favorite channels since I was 18 in 2013
Just make a batman beyond arkham game already
Batman and the nemesis system can work 9.5/10
A continuation of origins would be very cool. I just can’t see it happening with the way WB acts like it doesn’t exist :(
i honestly would love a arkham game after knight focusing on Nightwing or something, maybe even multiple members of the batman family. Just retcon Suicide Squad and make it happen.
Love your channel and coverage. God bless you both!
I think they should either do a Arkham origins 2 set before asylum. Or just make a new universe/batman world without the Arkham title and start on a clean slate
I would love to see characters like condiment king as a side mission character or someone like man bat after he escaped the quarantine cell from GCPD
I like watching the transition between Bruce Wayne into Batman. It being at Wayne Enterprise is conducting a meeting. Wayne at a celebrity function or sporting event.
-Major storyline
-DLC with Rogues gallery
-A visual of the rogues gallery behind bars (Batman Begins)
-Ben Affleck modulated voice from BvsS
Killing his Mom wasn't the best idea storywise for future games.
with Rock-steady being infected with the virus that is Sweetbaby inc I don't if I even want another Arkham game... and it's one of my favorite game trilogies of all time at that
Roger Craig Smith would be a great Batman. Again 😂! Also happy new year Luke and Amber
It looks so cool look like a movie
That is the origins map. The origins map is what city designed to be gotham for the skybox turned 3D, you can see wonder tower
I think they tried to import the Arkham Asylum and City maps but the files were either too big or didn’t flesh well with Arkham Knight. Not too sure but it would’ve been cool though 👌
I wish thed do a arkem game in the Tim Burton era of movies 89/92
Same
WB should hire the guy that was working on the Batman ‘89 prototype game.
I don’t want a new arkham game it’s probably gonna be awful or decent at best
I think after the flop that was Gotham Knights, WB is gonna be playing things a bit safe going forward…meaning that an Arkham (or Arkham-like) Batman game is definitely coming.
And if the Suicide Squad game also flops, that’ll only speed up the development of a new Batman Arkham game.
Batman is awesome 😎
I wouldn't mind a Batman Arkham Origins Sequal where you get a big city like Knight but can drive the Batcyle around. I definitely wouldnt support a Batman Arkham game taking place post SS:KTJL using Arkham Batman w/out Kevin unless it REALLY inspires me, but I just can't otherwise, but a Sequal to Origins, I wouldn't mind it or a Batman Beyond game. But I'm rooting for a Flash and Superman game which Rocksteady would be amazing at imo.
Batman first year game would be great or a batman Arkham game setting in long Halloween night would be interesting.
I still want to see the Damian Wayne Batman game Revived and Reworked cause there's a lot and I mean a LOT of untapped Potential with it.
Need Roger Craig to continue as Batman
Batman gets 3 legendary games with more coming soon. Meanwhile Superman still has no good games TO THIS DAY
Thank you WB. Thanks...
given Suicide Squad will likely bomb, I can see it being tossed aside quickly as an elseworlds story rather quickly and easily given how much doesn't line up with Arkham Knight ending

After the suicide squad debacle, I doubt people will care. They burned that bridge already.
I would say continue the Arkham Knight sequel from WB Montreal a lot of potential to get us entertained
WBM lost the magic they once held. Sadly GK is evidence of this, not just with the Gameplay but the narrative as well. Based on current Game dev trends, they tend to consultant the wrong agencies for help completing thier game

Personally I always hoped the Nightfall would lead into a Batman Beyond game.
we can't let them make anymore games with Batman until they get rid of the woke nonsense
The next batman arkham game, seriously needs a coop/multiplayer mode like origins. That was so fun
That steak allegory was perfect.
We need a Batman Arkham origins 2
Great video! All your thoughts were on point and the solutions you mentioned to possible solve the mess up are kind of doable and practical
I think roger craig would be a great option to voice batman as he did a phenomenal job in origins.
In TikTok I found a named Eric on the channel, The Major Nerd. This person has the potential to be the next definitive voice of Batman. 😉
Basically to fill in the gap between Origins and Asylum.
I feel like whatever next Batman game should just start a new series from scratch in a new universe entirely. Continuing Arkham without Kevin wouldn’t be the same and the story ended already with knight.
if they do make another batman Arkham game i just hope they honor Kevin Conroy
Batman Arkham game with Two-Face as the main villain
Yes, but his fall from grace as Dent to Two Face would be a compelling and tragic tale
Respectfully. Idc about a new voice actor. RIP. But I still want more Batman games. Show must go on.
Bruce Greenwood is widely accepted as a great Batman voice. He was Batman in "Young Justice" and "Under the red hood"
I would also accept Jensen Ackles, he did very well in the last couple animated movies. I mean, what are they supposed to do? Kevin passed away! Does that mean no one can ever make a Batman game again? That would be stupid.
“What if Harley puts Batman down like a dog?” CACKLING 😂😂

“ You’re not making games for tumblr and twitter fans you’re making games for Batman fans” quote of all time
If they're gonna do more batman games it's gotta be with like a batman beyond or a prequel like origins set in between asylum and origins
I’m sure some one brought this up Arkham city had a boss fight with Mr,frezze where you had to attack him differently each time . Now a full game like that would be awesome.
