Imagine how terrified the criminals are of the idea of the ghost of Batman prowling the night. It’s genius. A legend on par with Bigfoot or moth man. Something worse than Batman, something feared more, something vengeful
Sirius Black the problem with a game like this would be it would lose its wow factor quickly you would start as a Batman that is probably open to killing and is already op af, it would be cool but there would be no challenge
That's actually a good theory! Batman has crippled hundreds (thousands?) of people just in the Arkham games alone. Much of the time, those beatings were not in self defense (flying off a rooftop and landing on someone... sneaking up behind people and choking them unconscious, etc.). Bruce Wayne has committed more crimes than most of his adversaries.
When Scarecrow is injected with the fear toxin and hallucinates Batman, that's exactly what it is. The Toxin would of had no effect on Crane, except he just realised that Bruce Wayne is dead, and the only thing that stands before him is Batman, giving Crane his one and only fear that awoke in him at that moment.
@@edgyboi1995 there is no more Batman games. And the scary Bats at the end is Terry in the beyond suit. That scene is after some time, years actually. All the robins are doing their thing , Gordon is mayor , etc.

Something to do with the fear toxic. Though he still in his batsuit but this is what we see in vilains eyes. A haunted bat spirit coming back from the dead.
I'm also liking how the plot of the Arkham series runs in a different parallel with the Christoper Nolan series. In the Dark Knight series Batman despite being afflicted by his parents death, still wanted to live as Bruce Wayne in the end, which happened along with Selina. By your explanation, the Arkham series makes it into a different parallel where because he was so afflicted by his parents death. Bruce Wayne decided to "kill" himself to fully embrace Batman with the modifed fear toxin and all and to also protect his allies.
I don't know what Wayne I love more. The one who sacrificed batman to live a normal life or the one who sacrificed Bruse to be a better Batman forever. On the big screen he had no life because he felt the needed to be Batman to protect Gotham. In the game we saw more scenes of him being Bruce because he wanted to give Gotham hope. Regardless they are good representations of Batman. That's wy he will always be my favorite hero
It's simple. They need movie to release the game. We have no solo bats movie since dark knight and Affleck isnt on Bales level. Sadly im almost sure Pattison cant handle batman aswell. Game based on movie usually takes so much mood from that. So unfortunately i think we have to wait for good batman, but i hope im wrong and producers will handle that ;p
Bruce Wayne died with his parents. Bruce Wayne decided to be a symbol of hope for people like him, people who have lost everything and he would be vengeance. Batman became the real him, and Bruce Wayne became the mask. Try as he might be couldn't keep both as one, Bruce Wayne needed to die for good, and Batman needed to be free.
Thomas B. Munchausen is just so messed up to now see the human being (Bruce Wayne gone for good) to only release the inner beast inside the bat. Batman
Jake little Same, I still don’t understand it, but I have an idea that there’s a floor that just opens right under them so they can make it out in time, but then again it’s almost instance when he closes it
Just replayed the whole series because I was feeling nostalgic, I watched this again after a long time, and actually did some research, in a reddit post, the creative director Sefton Hill did an AMA and said his favorite part of Arkham knight was the ending "Knight: I liked the very end! When Batman is left with no other option, he still manages to find a way out. To become an even more badass version of Batman."
I think probably the biggest indicator that Batman is still alive is simply the fact that he wouldn’t kill his surrogate father. Alfred was probably the closest thing he’s ever had, he wouldn’t simply let him die
Bruce Can Die... The truth is Batman can't. Batman planted to many seeds for him to die. Night Wing, Oracle, Robin, Red Hood, Azreal and others are out there and doing what they are doing because of batman. Whether one of them ultimately takes up the Primary mantle or not. The Fear that is going to strike many criminals, Many of which probably still have the fear gas effecting them in some way because it's never made clear how long this new strain truely lasts in the system, Is that Even with Batman dead they are far from free to run rampant. Those others have been taking them down very successfully for a long time. Even against some of Batman's traditional big villains. So we're left with How much can we trust what we see exactly in that ending.
This was a fantastic ending, hands down. As an avid batman comic reader, lover of the movies, and ESPECIALLY these games, I take absolutely no shame in saying this ending damn near brought tears to my eyes. Great theory bro
No, it's not Batman that's gone forever. It's Bruce Wayne. At the very end Batman is either still post-mortem personification of fear and the scene is a metaphor or, more likely, it's literal - Bruce cuts his ties to anyone close to him so that they can't be used to get to him, and bereft of weaknesses Bruce had is playing the personification of fear, is back to being an urban legend, is full-time vigilante. The fact he's using the fear toxin is of notice, but isn't the most important thing. Alfred probably gave in to help Batman (as opposed to Bruce) or he's living the last of his days somewhere reclusive and with great vistas, but I'd bet on the former.
lindon zeqaj u really dont follow batman much do u? Hellooo, he hasnt even joined Justice League yet, or bear Damian Wayne with Selina Kyle. Trust me he's far from dead
Always looked up to Batman, always respected him and admired him, as Batman is not a person, he is an idol, a symbol, and that is far more important than Bruce Wayne, he knew that from the very beginning.
2 possible endings: 1.the ending cutsene is an exaggeration it Is a metaphor.(batman is back) 2.the ending cutsene is in the this thug's minds, modified toxin used against enemies also meaning batman is back

Personally, I don't think that this "batman beyond" takes place 2 decades later. It's too long, Gordon should be dead at that point. I'm guessing 2-5 years where batman beyond is much closer, and he has been trained by his apprentices between missions or Batman himself after his supposed death.
Epic-Fictional Projects Disney has nothing to do with the Batman Franchise. If the game was cancelled, it would have been cancelled by Rocksteady/Warner Bros.
After being heavily injected with the fear toxin, Bruce started to speak with his "batvoice" as I noticed. So maybe it means Bruce completely lost the "Bruce Wayne" mind and he completely became The Batman.
A smelly Taco they’re both masks, but you can’t have one without he other. Bruce Wayne needed batman just as batman needed Bruce Wayne. They’re both different identities and personas. However at the end of Arkham knight Bruce Wayne was no longer needed anymore to ensure barman’s survival. Bruce sacrificed his humanity in order to fully dedicate himself to being legend
Every true Bat fan knows that The Batman and Bruce Wayne are 2 very different people. With Bruce gone, THE Bat is truly unleashed. I support this theory.
Naa.. bruce is not something that keeps the bat back... bruce is a mask/resource that batman wears for gotham.. with bruce gone, bats lost one of his resourcesful mask.. bat is not truly unleashed, just merely need to adopt different approach..
11:46 I like the detail that Jason painted the bat logo onto his chest, indicating that he has once again taken the oath to be a protector of justice. And now he'll probably be a sort of successor to the older batman(essentially he'll basically be a Thomas Wayne batman but younger)
Yes, Batman would absolutely give his life to protect his family and innocents without question. He does it every day. But bringing Alfred along with him? His father figure and innocent human being? That is not Batman. In any sense.
Wait, isn't the reason Batman doesn't kill because Alfred always told Bruce not to?...that would mean Bruce was the only thing stopping Batman from killing therefore Batman is now free to kill if he wishes.

In the dlc "a flip of a coin" you can hear two face's guys talking between them about how 'the ghost' took out another thug at the docks days prior to the events in the dlc, pretty obvious hint that the 'ghost' is batman, who is using a lower dosage or modified version of cranes fear gas to scare the living crap out of goons, to become more that just the batman, to be a true myth or legend... something more.. something worse... anyone who hears about it just thinks its crazy talk.. but criminals being a 'superstitious and cowardly bunch' will be frightened by this new myth stalking the shadows... the ghost of the batman.. unending vengeance...
It's probably a mixture of fear gas and a new Batsuit. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce hired Lucius as a permanent tech developer. After all, Wayne Industries isn't important post Knightfall.

Im so glad to have seen this video. Because it actually makes since. With everyone thinking that batman and bruce Wayne is dead then batman can really cause some havoc on Gothams criminals while bruce Wayne can still live without people thinking he's actually still around just because they think they saw him blow up. And in my opinion I honestly love that batman is using fear toxin now. So those criminals who are having those encounters with him spread the urban legend of an unstoppable "Undead Batman" still hunting those who do wrong in his city.
I have seen a number of theories about knight fall, but this one is by far my favorite explanation. Upon reflection, I have been sold on your logic. In the last scene with scarecrow, he is not wearing the cowl physically, but he might as well be. One factor that you didn't mention that I think is noteworthy is the nature of the Scarecrow. According to his bio in the game, Dr. Crane is addicted to fear, but prolonged exposure to his own toxin has rendered him immune to his own toxins, and unable to feel the fear he craves. The Scarecrow just wasn't scary enough. There was only one thing that could still potentially scare him.... the Batman. By destroying Bruce Wayne, the Scarecrow has unleashed a terror that even he, the self proclaimed master of fear, is afraid of. Which, on a subconscious level, was exactly what he wanted. The true Batman, much like the true Joker, transcends flesh and blood.
Awesome observation! But I always thought that was silly with batman, I mean what are they afraid of exactly? Batman doesn't kill, so what are they afraid of getting locked up?!
To be honest I think the reason Bruce wayne didn’t die is because he went into the bat cave with Alfred then he activated the knightfall protocol Anyone agrees?
I think something like that happen, but when looking at the cutscene, as soon as Alfred shuts the door, the house blows up, so the window of time they have to move to safety, is extremely small
Maybe terry could be the bad guy but at the start be a protosesor of Bruce then turn bad after his brother and mother being murdered with Bruce coming back in a dark knight returns fashion to defeat terry. Called Batman the future of Arkham
I like how Bruce made his new identity what he originally intended the Batman persona to be. He wanted criminals to believe that Batman was an unstoppable supernatural bat creature who came out of the night to punish criminals. Obviously that mystique and psychological warfare became less and less effective the longer he was Batman because more people realised he was just a normal human man with great fighting skills and gadgets. So since he couldn't scare criminals anymore after Scarecrow revealed his identity he faked his death, went into hiding, put together his new "Ghost" persona as it's called in some of the DLC's and probably used fear gas to make criminals think that his ghost was haunting them restoring his status as a mysterious urban legend and causing the criminals to fear him again. And the fact that the first crime he stops is a mugging similar to his parents murder is fitting and brigs it full circle. Bruce probably saw the crime happening and thought "No this isn't happening again." He was there for that family the way no one was there to help his parents.
Would have been GREAT if the devs rewarded the player with the Nightmare Batman costume after 100% completion! Then we would know for a fact that we were free-roaming AFTER the game and not separate from the game. Not been a fan of bland free-roaming when there is no point, or costume, to it!
This explanation makes all senses after I read The Dark Knight Returns, especially the Batman's personality, where it shows that the character cannot help being Batman, because that is what he really is. And he is willing to risk everything in his life to keep his promise and protect Gotham. Nice work, Kwing.

So I get it now. There's Bruce Wayne, Joker, n The Batman all in one body/mind. When Bruce was injected with the fear toxin he lost control to his fear n the Joker took over. But when Joker was injected with the toxin he lost control to his fear which was the Personification of The Batman who now has control of the body. The Batman was injected with the toxin but he fears nothing so the toxin didn't affect him. N thus now The Batman has full control of the body/mind.
Realistically Bruce is dead but technically he's still there, if that makes any sense. It's the Batman NOT Bruce, we know Bruce is Batman obviously but the question is "who's was tht in the ending" the answer to that is "Batman".
This is actually cannon, in the comic books, there's a scene where Wonder woman, Superman and Batman are all holding the truth lasso, she asks them all to introduce themselves, she starts "Diana of Themyscira" "Clark Kent, Kal-El" "Batman"
Honestly in the comics Batman isn't a costume Bruce Wayne is the costume. He has always been batman and when he was unmasked that's when Wayne died because he no longer served a purpose.
Another minor thing is that if he was going to commit suicide why also kill Alfred. He’s most likely acting as his tech guide as he does for a majority of the story without oracle
I believe that Batman is using a toned down serum of cranes toxin by using the sample he had collected at the start of the game he knew the the very compounds that make it and even if he were to use the normal state of the toxin itself it does naturally wear off he also says after saving Selena he says Gotham needs a “worse” as in more dangerous tactics such as using the toxin and that is something he can’t be “right now”

I just beat this game and I have to say this is one of the best games I ever played... I was sad when the world knew who batman was.. I do agree with your hypothesis about this game
Here’s what I think what if Batman faked his own death because people knew that Batman was really just Bruce Wayne so the people think Bruce Wayne is dead but he is really just Batman without people knowing that he’s still Bruce Wayne because they think Bruce Wayne is dead and I mean who else would play as Batman why would Bruce tell Jim to trust him and Jim actually unmasked him either way if Bruce killed him self that would be his crossing line because yeah it’s not murder but it’s suicide so it’s still killing and besides it’s Batman he knows what he is doing, he smart enough to not to kill himself, he is always one step ahead
i believe this too! but what about the new game that is coming out. gotham knights i believe thats what its called. in the trailer its him in a video saying “if your watching this im dead” i think its a cover up so everyone still believes he’s dead?

@@drogadepc Everyone would think Bruce died, and the "paranormal" abilities of Knightmare/Ghost Batman would dissuade all theories on him being a human The thing most thugs would end up believing is KB being Bruce coming back from the dead, and by that point I doubt most would even care about any old associates he had when he was "alive".
I definitely took it as a metaphor. Batman died and became something more, a symbol of fears. He doesn't need to be around to get the job done. Hence at the end, he personifies and STILL injects fear into the thugs, even though he is not actually there. edit: I should have clarified that by 'Batman died' I don't mean Bruce or Alfred died. I mean 'batman' as the hero died in the public's eyes. I'm sure we're not supposed to believe that they just spontaneously blew up in the end.
From all the theories out there, yours is one I could personally believe. Bruce achieves his ultimate objective: inspire fear in the minds of criminals and evil doers, without needing a physical form. That is the ultimate Batman.
I think that in the nightfall ending its not Bruce or Batman but a mixture of Batman and the Joker's cruelty, as using the fear toxin is symbolic of him becoming one with the Jokers cruelty and still being a vigilante, as from the ending I always took it he kills those criminals. Basically he's proven himself as a killer in his subconscious, and the cruelty of the Joker is something he now controls instead of the other way around.
I feel like it’s more likely fear “darts”, than fear “gas.” As it’d be easier to more precisely administer it, with no unintended victims. Plus we’ve seen that this Batman isn’t afraid to use gun-“like” tools, like the disruptor, or the electric thing that’s name just escaped my mind. So a dart gun advanced enough to secretly, and stealthily inject villains with a dose of fear toxin, isn’t that unlikely
@@jrodriguezpiano ''Did you see any darts fired?'' Idk man it's hard to know what is going on when your perspective is the one of a thug seeing a deadly god gigant fire-making batman.
I thought of that too, but then I realized that isn't the case for 2 major reasons: 1) Nightmare Batman is supposed to be greater then Batman -- a true monster of the night. If Bruce was using darts he'd be instantly discovered and both Nightmare Batamn and the Knightfall protocol would fail. 2) Most likely he is using an altered -- *just as strong fear toxin,* -- so that it isn't deadly and is able to infect *EVERYONE* within range in order to sell the whole new idea behind Nightmare Barman. In other words, I'm sure Bruce is purposely infecting everyone nearby so that all of Gotham believes Nighmare Batman is a true demon of justice.
I think they were one of the thugs who were hit by scarecrows toxin and since i’m assuming they’re scared of Batman, that’s why they see that Bat devil

Coo kie. There’s also a possibility that he meant Arkham Asylum, think about it “it will end where it began” it began at the Asylum, all these games... and then the main story ended at Asylum, I’m pretty sure they put it In Crime Alley Since that’s where Batman’s life began but Arkham Asylum was the gamer’s Beginning so it ended it there.
One theory I talked about with my friend was that he has so much for your tocsin injected into him that it actually became part of him, almost like it made him meta-human. Almost like he can actually admit the fear toxin just by being present. Basically transforming home from a man playing a nightmare to just being a plane ole nightmare
KingMoe I do too. Except I don’t want the formula of the other games, I don’t want Batman to live in the shadows to defeat criminals. I want him to feel free.

The joker and batman is the same kind of madness, but batman did the imposibile and hid as a normal person. If you look at the end of «the killing joke» you will understand this. But batmans biggest fear was being a murderer
Joker represents Bruce biggest fears. That he could cross the line and kill. When he locks the Joker up he's overcoming his fears. But Crane's right, no one can live without fear. Just because Batman could overcome his fear and thus the toxin, it doesn't mean he can never be affraid anymore. That's why I strongly believe that Batman, as a legend lives but the person behind the cowl died and not just figuratively. He knew he could cross the line. He knew that his very existence would always put the ones around him and Gotham at risk. He knew no matter how many times he put his enemies in jail, they would eventually escape or come out and come back for more. At that point, Batman as a person could no longer protect Gotham, so he had to go. For real.
Think about it like this: Bruce's mind is divided in 2 personalities, Batman and Bruce Wayne. In the beginning of the game, when Batman gets infected by fear toxin, a third personality is born, and it's the Joker. So now his mind is divided in 3 (Bruce Wayne, Batman and Joker). When he is infected again by Scarecrow in the ending, Joker takes over Bruce's body. But, at the end, Batman uses the same fear that brought Joker back to life and eliminates him. But, at this point, the Bruce Wayne personality is too damaged, so Batman has to get rid of it by faking his death. So, at the end of the game, in Bruce's mind there is only 1 personality left: Batman
People keep saying it’s terry but I’ve watched a few theory’s that say it’s Batman beyond and compared to this theory it kinda makes me think that there’s no way it could be terry because the simple fact is that it’s just too complicated of a theory to be true. To me it feels like they get too carried away with the idea of it being terry and they don’t stop to realize that the simple answer is exactly what this video is saying. Batman puts his responsibilities on Gordon so that he no longer needs to worry about being Bruce Wayne so that he can dedicate himself to being Batman. He then fakes his death to ensure that everyone thinks that the nightmare Batman is someone else so that no one will hurt his family. In a way it’s saying that Bruce killed himself so that only Batman would remain. Which makes absolute perfect sense considering that Batman actually implys that he’s just not scary enough anymore. If you had a scary side to you and you needed to become scarier wouldn’t you just get rid of the side that isn’t scary enough? He knew that he was going to have to give up being Bruce Wayne if he wanted Batman to succeed. I feel like another good indicator would be the title “knightfall protocol”. Knightfall implying that the dark knight must fall upon Gotham city to defend her and protocol implying that it’s something that needs to be done, in other words, it takes priority over everything else. So when you put the two together you come to the conclusion that being the dark knight is more important than anything else, meaning that in order to become the dark knight full time you have to get rid of Bruce Wayne. And how do you do that? Fake your death so that you no longer have any responsibilities as Bruce Wayne. No more acting, no more secret identity, no more covering up. From now on it’s only Batman.
Kieran Corkle I would fucking kiss you dude, what a great fucking explanation, seriously this is the best explanation of this game's ending I have ever heard
I still love that Batman literally banishes Joker and the physical poisoning of his body (infected blood AND fear toxin) with literal sheer willpower through an internal mental battle. It's quite literally the personification of "I am Batman" and I totally buy it, lock stock and barrel.
Sebastien Olibrice I think WB Montreal will do another two prequels and at some point we'll see a new Batman series from Rocksteady following down the Batman Fear road.
Jammsbro I don't think so. Rocksteady will probably do Batman Beyond or another crime fighter DC or Marvel superhero. But this is the last Arkham game from rocksteady.
@@Riokkuu actually Joker was the red hood in the arkham games before Jason. If u play origins u will see jokers backstory. He was the original red hood before Jason.
It gives the idea that Bruce's original mindset is changed to how Joker views Batman, Cold and Relentless but never killing striking with newfound fear. Batman giving Scarecrow a taste of his own medicine, also implies that he probably sees a new way to neutralize criminals. he made a partial clone of the Scarecrow's fear toxin. this new way to make criminals stand down, if they'd be released, they wouldn't want to do criminal acts out of this newfound fear towards the Batman. No one would believe the criminals due to the fact that they would be acting delusional. Fear becomes the Batman's new weapon, only a touch of the toxin, and they'd fear it most of their criminal lives. Losing the 'Bruce' side, the Batman wouldn't need to keep the moral of "Keeping them in good condition when they go to prison, just keeping them alive". The no-killing moral was made by Bruce, not Batman, to keep a piece of humanity in him.

Batman has crippled hundreds (thousands?) of people just in the Arkham games alone. Much of the time, those beatings were not in self defense (flying off a rooftop and landing on someone... sneaking up behind people and choking them unconscious, etc.).

When Scarecrow is injected with the fear toxin and hallucinates Batman, that's exactly what it is. I think Bruce somehow used Scarecrow’s fear toxin in a mix with his own suit. Explains the end there when everything went ballistic.
Small fear gas grenades dropped nearby the criminals, a less lethal version of crane’s formula but still enough to terrify criminals
But what suit he's wearing ? Can you give any clue as to what this new costume would look like?
Something to do with the fear toxic. Though he still in his batsuit but this is what we see in vilains eyes. A haunted bat spirit coming back from the dead.
Or could be worsen. With the toxic infection trough his body. Batman could be crossing the line.breaking his code.
I belive there will be new gameplay of Arkham knight in the near futhure. More to the fear factor.
But boths endings made Batman a legend.
Well, he was forced to denounce Bruce Wayne and Batman since the cat was out of the bag.
So that's it ? Batman is gone forever ?

YEP!
Bruce Wayne was just a mask, an act, Batman is who he truly is
A smelly Taco they’re both masks, but you can’t have one without he other.

"The Knight falls and from its ashes, a fearless bat shall rise."
-OG (the real, first, original) Joker
where can I find that?
I love how you said Batman is back to where he started, an urban legend.
We would've had the Batman Who Laughs if Joker won.
I really like this but i honestly feel like the devs just forgot about scarecrows bio in asylum
Awesome observation! But I always thought that was silly with batman, I mean what are they afraid of exactly? Batman doesn't kill, so what are they afraid of getting locked up?!
@@blaketerry3778 the bios in Asylum are all a bit loose tbh. A lot of things in later games have retconned Asylum's character bios
Rob Rat yeah its a shame

yeah he’s not bruce anymore, he fully became batman
To be honest I think the reason Bruce wayne didn’t die is because he went into the bat cave with Alfred then he activated the knightfall protocol
Anyone agrees?
SO TRUE!!
Nope because the power of the explosives would cause the manor to cave in on the entire bat cave
No, because the manor explodes like 3 seconds after Bruce entered the manor
I think something like that happen, but when looking at the cutscene, as soon as Alfred shuts the door, the house blows up, so the window of time they have to move to safety, is extremely small
Aubelazo finally someone knows
They should do one last edition called *Batmam: Beyond Arkham* that would be epic, introducing Terry McGinnis
Why Is My Face So Ashy: I have actually had this same exact thought. We need a Batman Beyond game. Beyond Arkham is also a perfect name.
It's gonna be called Batman: Apocalypse or something like that
No but if Amanda Waller exists in the Arkhamverse, then Terry very well could exist.
Ya like with batman beyond!
Oh ya, he did not want a new batman to start up from that crime!
Yeah he said the problems he is been through doesn't want people to go through them...again
This explanation makes all senses after I read The Dark Knight Returns, especially the Batman's personality, where it shows that the character cannot help being Batman, because that is what he really is. And he is willing to risk everything in his life to keep his promise and protect Gotham. Nice work, Kwing.

Danny Polanco He said Martha to activate the Knightfall Protocol obviously. Anyone like the superman reference? I thought it was funny
This is probably one of the best explanations we could ask for.
But is it still Bruce physically?
It still Bruce outlook, but mind is different.
Bruce: Activate knight fall protocol
Alfred: Ok sir...shall we hide in the bat cave and fake your death?
Bruce: sure
*DROPS IN THE BATCAVE*
I believe that Batman is using a toned down serum of cranes toxin by using the sample he had collected at the start of the game he knew the the very compounds that make it and even if he were to use the normal state of the toxin itself it does naturally wear off he also says after saving Selena he says Gotham needs a “worse” as in more dangerous tactics such as using the toxin and that is something he can’t be “right now”

Bruce Wayne is still alive. He is hiding in his bat cave all safe.
I bat punched the like button and now my screen is cracked :'(
Should have had a "Bat case" on that phone man.
You must have a "Bat-Case" of anger issues.
In short: he uses fear toxin to project himself as a spooky guy to feed into the myth aspect among the criminals of Gotham

Great video
I dunno if it's me but I figured no one else could see or hear the video. When the video is up, Batman has this weird grayed out eyes that looks like he might be seeing something. Basically, I think the cowl lets him see and hear stuff.
The audio is most likely diverted to the cowl. With the money Bruce Wayne has, he could probably afford the technology.

Been multiple years and i still tear up to the end of the series.
I watched this video a couple years ago and it was really informative. I had beaten the game but not 100% and I wasn't planning to, so after watching the missing cutscenes, I decided to watch this video. For some reason I found an interest into Batman: Arkham Knight again, and so I return. Time for Round 2...

I also believe in this interpretation now, because it's so persuading. Sumptous work, Knightwing!

okay it's Terry McGinnis Because by the by the Batman Beyond suit in your feet the wings pop out of his back just like this just like the Batman Beyond suit so it happened to him again and he came back so it has to be in and when he looks at other off the ground it must be the Rockets but instead of eating the fear toxin to make it look like he's just levitating so it has to be Terry McGinnis
+Luis Morones bruce created the batman beyond suit and was the first to wear it to enhance his abilities since he was aging in the DC comics
that is a good theory but jim wouldnt be alive if that was terry barbara would be commissioner and that wasnt stated or shown AND that was like idk like 20 or 30 years later

Presumably he just meant himself, he had to kill off Bruce, which by the end he had. Bruce couldn't be that symbol, but knightmare batman could
@@lordjaxter6968 but then as soon as he came back his friends and allies would be targeted.
@@drogadepc they wouldn't know its him. The thugs thought it was someone else.
@@drogadepc Everyone would think Bruce died, and the "paranormal" abilities of Knightmare/Ghost Batman would dissuade all theories on him being a human
The thing most thugs would end up believing is KB being Bruce coming back from the dead, and by that point I doubt most would even care about any old associates he had when he was "alive".
+Shannon Budde Are you talking reality right now? Or a universe where a rich guy runs around in a bat costume beating up criminals?
it's a game.....lol
From all the theories out there, yours is one I could personally believe. Bruce achieves his ultimate objective: inspire fear in the minds of criminals and evil doers, without needing a physical form. That is the ultimate Batman.
Fun god
Fun god
Just don't aim for the eyes
Ian Jarvis Did you see any darts fired in the last cutscene? Nope. This would be stupid. It would just be batman, but now with a dart gadget.
@@jrodriguezpiano ''Did you see any darts fired?'' Idk man it's hard to know what is going on when your perspective is the one of a thug seeing a deadly god gigant fire-making batman.
I thought of that too, but then I realized that isn't the case for 2 major reasons:
1) Nightmare Batman is supposed to be greater then Batman -- a true monster of the night.
I DECODED THE NOTE HUGO STRANGE LEFT IN ARKHAM CITY!
ok so the note hugo strange left in the crime alley next to the outline of bruce wayne's parents says ''it will end where it began'' so it began when bruce wayne's parents died in the crime alley and it ended in arkham knight when a new family walks in to the SAME crime alley bruce's parents died *BOOM*
So your saying there actually is a new batman? the child of the parents that were in crime alley? WOW big stuff
DavidPlayzStuff.
No, actually. Batman had saved his parents, so he wouldn’t have an urge to fight crime.
But what if he still did but didnt make the promise to not kill? NightBat confirmedd
YOOOOOO! That is amazing!
Knightfall had to be a smokescreen.
He may have made people think he died when the manor exploded,
But he has all that underground facility
One theory I talked about with my friend was that he has so much for your tocsin injected into him that it actually became part of him, almost like it made him meta-human. Almost like he can actually admit the fear toxin just by being present. Basically transforming home from a man playing a nightmare to just being a plane ole nightmare
Another great theory. I like this one as well.
I hope we get to play as this new Batman in the next Arkham game
KingMoe I do too. Except I don’t want the formula of the other games, I don’t want Batman to live in the shadows to defeat criminals. I want him to feel free.

I’m still confused, is the joker a version of Bruce Wayne or is Bruce just imagining himself turning into a ruthless killer?
The joker and batman is the same kind of madness, but batman did the imposibile and hid as a normal person. If you look at the end of «the killing joke» you will understand this. But batmans biggest fear was being a murderer
Bruce just imagining himself turning into a ruthless killer
@@saminahsan477 no he did not he is a joker

I still love that Batman literally banishes Joker and the physical poisoning of his body (infected blood AND fear toxin) with literal sheer willpower through an internal mental battle. It's quite literally the personification of "I am Batman" and I totally buy it, lock stock and barrel.
