@@KelliMarissa lol, color combos for French manicures with neons & like maybe racing stripes down the center. Neither of which I've never tried before.
I so love glitter gradient, I do it often. Indeed it's very pretty with black, but my preference goes to a blue base with a gold flake top coat on top. Also brown base with same gold top coat, very classy
There isn't a single one I didn't absolutely adore. The mix of flakies between the blue Holo Taco/Mooncat design was perfection, and I love your nail shape!
I loved all of them. I think I am going to do the last one with alternating red and green glitter nails for Christmas. I think Starrily Candy Cane Lane and Emerald Gala will be perfect. Thank you, Kelli, for doing this video, I love gradient nails.
Yay! I actually have all your Orly collab polishes so I can do this one! It's by far my favorite... I love those colors so much. The jelly one was awesome too. I love a good sunset ombre.
I love all the color combinations you used. The black with blue, the green and blue, and the one with your collabs are really speaking to me, but I love all the color combos. I just spent an hour painting flowers on my nails, and now I want to take them off and do a gradient! 😂
I love your nail art tutorials - you always make nail art look so approachable, even for novices! I can’t wait to try out a few of these specialty finish combinations
LOL. I stumbled across your channel trying to figure out what to do with my OPI color paints that are streaky like you said in a different video, but I've been interested in jellies. Anyhoo .... This nail polished obsessed gal went BONKERS this past week making my own jelly polishes diluting those color paints, mixing and matching... Which ended up adding several "new" polishes to my already large collection! My newest obsession is doing the glittery/ jelly sandwich and experimenting with learning to do jelly granite watching your videos! I'm an older gal (almost 50, YIKES!) That has a serious nail manicure addiction! My fav looks are holographic and now going all things jelly! Thank you for such a fun channel! Keep on going, Kelli!
Oh yay!!! I wanted see you play more! My favorite one was the mooncat and holo taco gradient! I love the mix of rhe almost metallic ahimmer to the softer shimmer, just beautiful! The last gradient i did was for my birthday. I used 3 very different finishes for each color so it looked like my nails were on like burning coals. My favorite kinda od videos are when we get to see people experiment and play.
I did a gradient a couple days ago with two sort of metallicy shimmer polishes (both form the orly futurism collection which has a very interesting formula) and it looks incredible! Would totally recommend gradients with metallic formulas as well💅
LOVE this! Gradients is something I really want to try, I've never tried sponging before either. I think I might try doing something with some of the shades from the Orly spring collection. Thank youuu!
Yayyy! Another Kelli video! I placed a huge ILNP order for my birthday and I included the Splash Collection - definitely tempted to try out that first gradient!
I have been stalking the ILNP site and doing color and holo-amount comparisons for several weeks now, exactly for the purpose of hand-painting holo jelly gradients! I love the idea of being able to do this without any tools at all. Will try soon. Great video!
Love this. It just didn’t last long enough! 😂 I like the first two the best. Since I have your collection I’m going to give it a try. I just sat down to soak my nails so, perfect timing. Thanks so much Kelli!❤

Honestly sometimes I find it to be easier to sponge on specialty finishes like shimmers/linear holo than cremes, maybe worth trying if you usually stick to cremes!!
thanks for the inspiration to break out my lighter holos and do my version of the A England gradient. i usually do a ton of them in the summer but have some spring colors i want to try. i recently did a jelly with UP and reflective gradient but vertically.
I just tried a gradient last week. ILNP Mila gradient to Hi-fi at the tip. No sponge. Both ultra-metallics. Turned out better than expected. Didn't know if I was doing it right. Love the effect. Will do it again.

Oh these are so cute! I have tried the sponges but I need more practice I think. One gradient idea I had, which might be tricky to say the least, is a magnetic gradient? Like with that recent magnet collection from ILNP where the base colors are different but they're all silvery magnetic pigments. love the video!
Thanks for the tips! I tried to do a gradient with ILNP Harvest collection using a sponge and all I got was glitter! 🤷🏻♀️ Was so frustrating! Might try it again this weekend.
Thank you for this! Great tutorial! I was wondering how you would go about doing a gradient with chrome polishes? Is it possible to still get the brushstroke finish? Just curious. I know the brushstroke finish isn’t popular but depending on the polish, I still like it lol Thought it would be a pretty look. Thanks again! ❤️💕😎
Hmm, sponging will usually get rid of the brush strokes unfortunately, but if you can find a sheer pearlescent polish to put on top of the gradient then you can probably do that to fake the look of brushstrokes!
