i believe the Apothecary would be the best next pick to tackle! goes great with the Aggressors you already made and will get even better with the ones left on the list :)
I did this in 5th and as a result couldnt disembark my terminators from it in coherency so some would be destroyed if they had to disembark from the land raider being destroyed. behind the sponson makes sense but its to far from the front ramp so for gameplay reasons you had to assemble them in the illogical way embarking in front of a las cannon instead of behind
It always was an issue for me, the logic side is to slap the guns forwards but the aesthetic side wants those guns behind as it looks better "organically" with the body of the tank.
He did a vehicle!! Corax be praised!! 😁😁😁 Add my vote to the Apothecary requests, I'm very curious how you'd tackle the combat medic and work their traditional white/red scheme into the Raptors' look! (yes, I do have an Apothecary in my list, why do you ask?)
So I've seen some really cool putty work done by some of the historical scale diorama crowd where they beveled gaps all around the tank filled it with a modeling putty and then used a tool(ball or small tube I don't remember) to stamp out a series of overlapping indents and it looked like the pieces of steel had been cut by a torch and then left without the finish work, it's maybe a bit more appropriate for Ironwariors or certain guard regiments but I think it could have worked well here.
Apothecary Biologis next, please. A good combat medic is necessary in any infantry force, and the Raptors grim, nihilistic view of the galaxy and their place in it would offer some choice opportunities for adding character to it. I've been a fan of the raptors for nearly a decade, and I'm glad to see they're getting some attention. Keep up the good work!
Suprised noones mentioned this yet, but a Raptors Dreadnought would be awesome. Through the lens of the utilitarian Raptors, maybe they deploy Dreadnoughts on defence, or maybe even mobile artillery? Regardless I would love to see your take.
That's a great shout. One thing I'd like to see is the legs having ammo packs on the back or something, for the marines serving along side it. The thing is strong as hell and I feel like the raptors would make use of that pack horse capacity for keeping their soldiers in the fight alongside it
Wish GW would bring back custom variants of the land raider. Forget what edition they did that in, but they had a bunch of variants that were all supported on forgeworld.
You mean the redeemer? That and the crusader still exist. I’m talking about the Helios, and the others. There was a version that had a thunder fire cannon installed and there was one that had a demolisher cannon too. I’m talking about those crazy ones.
@@Jason-wh7in helios pattern (1 whirlwind or hyperios missile turret, 2 twinlinked las cannon sponsons) terminus ultra pattern (3 twin las cannons and 2 single las cannons) ares pattern (demolisher cannon twin assault cannon, 2 twin heavy flamer sponsons) promethius pattern (2 quad heavy bolters sponsons, forward mounted stormbolter) solemus aggressor pattern (2 hurricane bolter sponsons, 2 heavy bolter sponsons, twinlinked assault cannon front turret) angel infernus pattern (2 flamestorm cannon sponsons, 2 heavy flamer sponsons, twinlinked assault cannon front turret) you also had the old mk2 heresy era land raider with armored side sponsons. i have 1 of each all buildt and primed waiting for paint. I will never forgive the fact that a Land Raider isnt called that because it raids the land, but because Arkhan Land discovered the raider. Its hilarious, but I hate it.
I swear they must have come up with that as a joke during a meeting but then said “actually let’s do that”. Probably homage to origins of 40k which were much sillier but I agree, it’s terrible ha.
Love the idea of a landraider with turret on top. Me personally, I would have tried using one big gun for the turret like the one from the Repulsor Executioner. And Instead of the multimelter I would have mounted the aussault gatliing canons there. But that would have been nothing but personal taste. Awesome kitbash!!!!!
Been loving this series and I’d love to see that apothecary next! As a side note, I’d also love to see you try your kitbashing hand at a thousand sons daemon prince
I feel like this version works and makes much more sense than any of the Primaris garbage, especially the flying toaster tanks. Just one thing i'd have made differently was that top hatch by slapping a piece of PLA over the hole and then greenstuffing over it. That half-hatch looks really weird, like a Bethesda glitch clipping through. The melta turret is spot-on and work seamlessly on it, very nice touch on that.
I can not express how amazing your take on a land raider looks! I always thought that the Land Raider pattern looked incomplete somehow. All it needs is a turret! When I get around to building and painting a Land Raider for my Space Wolves, I am going to find it very hard not to destroy a Gladiator to add a turret. As you have done here. Great job!
I’ve been super sick this past week and a half, so seeing you’ve posted another Raptors video as really cheered me up. Thank you, and merry Christmas~ 🎄
Come back to this again because it came up in my feed and i love the turreted look. But thinking about it, moving the sponsor weapons up onto a turret might be an even more practical solution for a transporter. It leaves all the doors easily accessible and reduces the awkward friendly fire incidents from having guns at space marine head height. And Warhammer 40k needs more flamethrower tanks.
Way to knock it out of the park! This strikes a great balance between the original kit and customization, leaving something that still feels recognizable as a Space Marine vehicle. As for the next addition, my vote goes to the Apothecary Biologis. I'm curious how you'll handle the somewhat ostentacious white armor with the more practical look of your chapter.
I'm actually super keen for the supressor. I love how the base model looks, so i can only imagine how cool it's going to look after you get your kitbash powers into it.
Heavy intercessors and the Apothecary would go great! All are Gravis armour and the increase in their weapon damage would reflect more interest right now.
Great conversion! I especially love the name. I, too, am fond of finding Latin (or Latin-ish) synonyms for unit names. Please add my vote for the apothecary being the next Raptor model you work on!
I would love to see the apothecary. I often feel like they come across very gaudy so a more tactical version a la your other raptors would be really interesting
Another great Conversion.. and great model to add to the list.. Would love to have seen the painting for this, as although it's the same recipe, I always find painting vehicles is a completely different beast than painting infantry. Also, my vote would be to see you do the Apothecary Biologis next..
Considering you have it, perhaps you can treat us to a double feature of the Impulsor and the Lieutenant, with spare bits not used on the lieutenant repurposed to upgrade the Impulsor with a Raptor operating the Ironhail Heavy Stubber.
What a great pattern! The raptors don´t like putting heraldry or bling on themselves, sure, but forgoing the aquila and going to the effort to remove everything is a bit much perhaps?
Next time you should create a custom Demonic-Bird entity of Corvus Corax. You did the Nurgle Sanguinius so well that I really want to see another winged character.
it is hilarious how this conversion manages to be both rather lore accurate yet also inaccurate (I do wanna say that this genuinely doesnt matter for conversions or armies on the tabletop as the lore is there to inspire the tabletop and not tell you what you can and can not do) but this conversion reminds me of the Land Raider Helios which does essentially this concept but with a whirlwind turrent instead of the gladiator turrent, I think it is super neat and an awesome idea!
If it was me doing this conversion I would have filled in the original turret hole on the front of the land raider, built up the body shape, employed half of a rhino window flap and counted the gladiator turret as the heavy bolter turret so it didn't stray to far from the normal land raider options.
I do remember a 3D artist called Red-Warden Miniatures that did a similar turret project for the space marine tanks and showed it on a land raider. It was designed "to put prime marine tank turrets on first born tanks." I don't know if this is what you want, but I can leave a link to it if you like.

I'm loving this so much.
Over a decade ago I made a baneblade / land raider but I burned out making it and never finished. It needs a turret
*Mortal Kombat voice* finish him!
Nice build. I like the look of the turret on the land raider.
Very awesome build, as usual! I too think the Aphostcary would be a great next build
Superb! Seen a few people do this using the turrett from a Predator, but never a Gladiator or Repulsor/Executioner 👍
Excited to see where this goes
Coolest aggressors I've seen yet!
Heavy intercessors! They already look so good, I'm sure your conversions will be amazing!
Definitely agree with the several comments asking for the Apothecary Biologis. Would love to see your take on a Raptors version of one.

The silhouette with turret is awesome makes it much more imposing
Great conversion Pete, the Raptors would love it. Merry Christmas squire and all the best for the new year.
I think the lieutenant would be an interesting character to see done
The Heavy Intercessors would be great to see, I would expert the Raptors to have them with scopes and all over spec ops gear.

Sidebar: loved hearing about the raptors in that new Tau book. Was rooting for them the whole time!
Love these raptor videos. Like to see the lieutenant next.
This is just so tough.... and 100% amplifies the silhouette of the Land Raider itself.
