That hotel was originally the Hyatt. The building was supposed to be much taller but the developer ran into some issues so they had to chop off a big chunk of the planned number of floors in the middle of construction. I lived across from that building for many years.

Restaurants in the Philippines would often accommodate requests as long as they’re reasonable and won’t take too much time to prepare.

Looks like a great place to stay! Maybe expensive for the Philippines, but fun to spoil yourselves sometimes too.
That's great value for money. At the Strand hotel where we used to stay regularly each time we were in London, it now cost GBP375/per night!!!! Same with Premiere Inn. But with Strand, the poor quality of the interior of the room is shocking and they claim to be 4-star. They use formica for bathroom with sink. Th room is very tiny!!!! no swimming pool, no views behind. Awful service but the nerve to charge all that money Why? It's on the West End. But the nerve to charge all that money per night. Thanks for this. Cheers! As for Storey, she's so smart, alert and gorgeous!

If I were to book a hotel now in Manila (not necessarily 5-star but close) it would be near one of the malls so you can go out for a meal and do some shopping. Makati has some good older ones. Manila has the ostentatiously new ones. You should try retaining Agoda cos they send you good promos with discounts.

The phone in the bathroom is for emergencies because many emergencies such as a heart attack can occur while doing a valsalvas maneuver ( trying to get poop out)

I have stayed in this hotel a few times in exactly same type of room that you guys are in and have never paid more than P6000 a night other than that your review is pretty accurate

I know I mentioned this before. But seriously, I hope you have an estimated and a timeline on grading and a retaining wall for the pad. You have quite a slope. I imagine that wall is going to be very pricey and getting the labor to do it is not going to be easy.

Experience varies if you’re holding a camera. I stayed at this Hotel a few months ago, they charged for breakfasts that I didn’t have, management was unresponsive.

the price is so worth it for that hotel
Sometimes people don’t realize is that to be considered a 5star hotel , they would need to have a golf course, it doesn’t have to be on premises, by but close enough to shuttle back and forth , I think several hotels can also use the same golf course, but probably not competing hotels
That bathtub might drwon somebody, it's so deep. I Googled the hotel, it seems far from Cavite where Grand Dad lives specially traffic. That's disappointing without a vegan option in the hotel. I saw online it is only $73.
I feel like the price is excellent with the aminities .

It does not really make any sense to recommend to them another hotel when they have already booked their stay at this cheap 5 star hotel. It would only make them confused as to where the best cheap 5 star hotel in Manila. Just let them be comfortable at the hotel of their choice.😮😮

I stayed at upscale hotel in washinton DC USA recently and that is also what I found-no vegan options and only 1-2 vegetarian options-disappointing for 2023
