@8milesfromhome greetings from NYC: Question: Did you talk to management to ask where are the amenities that was shown in the pictures? Granted, you went to the 7-11; you should inquire. 2. The clouds: in Haiti at my aunt’s house, clouds would come in the house. My aunt would tell me to breathe in; if you happen to not feeling well, when u breathe, it will clear up everything…. It really works!
I'm so happy that your mom decided to come back and be with you. Hopefully she will enjoy her time in the Philippines. Our parents are always grateful for us, children that we know how to look back and take care of them when they get older. As Filipino, it's in our blood - debts of gratitude!
I agree. It's quite frustrating and deceiving when people show pictures of accommodation or a location that aren't true - similar to thumbnails with a volcano erupting. Perhaps that is more deceptive than missing teabags?
spot on regarding the rental car...your mom is so lovely...she's like my mother-in-law...who's 83... we will have our video up on regarding Tagaytay area soon... love your family mate!
Beautiful view from the penthouse. I love being in a cloud/mist - feels like I'm safe and sound in a caccoon 😂 Maybe Mom should get a walker. My Mom is now 92 and has to use one. It's so much easier for the elderly. Enjoy your stay.
FYI when the time comes, There are newer walkers that allow the user to stand up straight. It's just a preventative measure, maybe just push it along and not lean on it, but in case she inadvertently leans too forward too quickly she can hold on to it.
I think that’s one of the reasons they stayed in the Philippines because people there are more tolerant and welcoming. They can make more money there without working a proper 9 to 5 jobs.
Wow, beautiful view from that hotel. Amazing tagaytay you can see the taal volcano and sea of clouds around. Lovely family have fun and enjoy your adventures. Its a nice place to relax and unwind with spectacular scenery.Take care everyone.. God bless..
Having your Mom in the Philippines has a giood therapeutic effect on her health. I retired from my work a month ago as my health is deteriorating in the middle east. When I arrived here i feel invigorated.
Having a R-BnB property in a good touristic location is a good investment and a steady source of income for the family as you plan and build your sturdy ideal home in beautiful Siargao Island. The enchanting beauty of the Philippines is so mesmerizing.
Taal volcano is not small at all. Only small eruptions for the past 500+years but the true caldera is the whole Lake. Your hotel is right at the lips of the true volcano.
Yung mga dome po yung pumuputok di po yung buong bulkan. Kahit naman nasa caldera ka kung walang dome doon eh safe ka padin. Kapag dome ng bulkan ang tinirhan mo edi di ka na safe jan.
They did not say it was small. What they said is it is the smallest active volcano in the world and that is different and by the way it's eruptions were not small. They were, in fact, destructive.
@@riomarcanaveral9900 ang lake mismo ang main crater iho. may mga mini craters nga lng sa island...even Laguna de Bay is a caldera. Dormant nga lang. Pray na lang tayo n sana wala nang major eruption...read @mickiteoxon reply called as the Laguna Caldera.
It's nice here in Tagaytay, the climate is nice you don't need AC and the view of the lake is amazingly beautiful, and we are always going down there and trying to catch fish with our fishing 🎣😁
Awesome volcano view, loved the way the misty cloud reached all the way over to you, so cool indeed!! Yes, I do love nature, the city is okay for a visit, but I am a country girl at heart. I love all your family adventures, so nice your Mom is there with you and enjoying her time. She is amazing, lovely warm smile, happy times together, thanks for sharing 🌲🇨🇦❤ Sharlene from Vancouver Island, Victoria, BC, Canada, ❤😎👍
The mist is honestly the best, it moves fast too, you can see it racing towards you and sometimes it’s so think when you’re in that garden area in this video you can barely see 10 feet away so it can be quite fun/creepy
That is the Nature of Tagaytay, weird but wonderful you should see the Flying Squirrels flying amongst the fog flying from tree top to tree top if you could track them amongst the Fog.
The original crater of the Vocano is along the the road you are riding on. It's huge! It erupted during Prehistorical times. We live a few KM north and west of where you are. I do videos of the volcano often, usually from the Twin Lakes Shopping complex. It is much cooler up here.. I have a lot of Tropical plants growing in my yard that I get out of the jungle near us. Our neighbor just brought us 3 "Queens of the Night" plants. It's wonderful living in this area.
My father and mother used to take us kids there in the 1960's and earlier! I remember looking at the volcano thru a telescope and watching lava spitting from the top!
That Condo is an SM property. Ace Hardware is there because its also owned by SM. My fam stayed at an AirBnB there twice. But we aren't going back. There was a cockroach infestation our 2nd time there.
That view is breathtaking! I agree, with what you are paying for, you should get those little things especially tea and coffee! I think when you are taking photos to advertise on a website, you dress the place up like they do when you look through a show home, it's just that the furniture and decor are not included, they are more like ideas of what you buy for the space. It would have been nice if the telescope 🔭 was there, but something like that could be easily damaged or even stolen maybe.
We also thought they might have removed it because a child was coming. But the host hasn’t responded to our feedback yet so we don’t know for sure. Board games were definitely supposed to be included though, it was written in the description and there was nothing of the sort there.
Really sorry for those small things not present when you first booked for that place. For 8T a day I would recommend that you request for the things lacking when you arrived there. Nonetheless enjoy your stay at Tagaytay with your Mum😊
Yes I commented to them above that it is totally normal for guest to go to the reception and GET THE ITEMS MISSING!! the maids at any hotel are overworked and usually they just got distracted! It's very normal to go get your items .. I don't think they know this some people don't buy I hope they do !!and also they have to everyday they have to ask for coffee and what you need because coffee runs out daily 🤗🙏🏼
Jay Pls let you're mama know that its normal for her age to bit more slow, she's aging❤❤❤,she sounds guilty that you have to adjust thing's coz of her mobility😢.shes beautiful ,I hope she'll enjoy het Philippines vacay.
We live near the shore of the lake it beautiful here ill take you if you want to visit the lake amd be really near the volvano im a subscribers for quite a while 2yrs maybe.. Welcome to luzon guys
We love Tagaytay and we stayed at the same condo in May. Looks like you are at the Wind Residences. Great video and can't wait to get back to Tagaytay.
Hi Jay! Been an avid fan and always wait for your next vlog to be posted. Anyway, Your lovely mom can pass for a Filipina, a very beautiful lady indeed. Enjoy ur stay in the Philippines for the second time Popa....🥰
I saw a diagram where the area that hotel is right now (Tagaytay) was part of the much bigger supervolcano, (basically where you are right now is the foot of the old volcano), and when it erupted it removed a large mass of soil and it became the whole taal lake, smaller eruptions later, it formed the whole island inside the lake and that small volcano that we see now.
Baguio city also is everyday foggy also. And it is The coldest city in the philippines. Some americans and koreans are currently touring baguio this time. Burnham park now is full of local tourist.
You can also try to visit cities like Clark airbase Subic Bay Lingayen or LA Union in the North if you still have time or Nuvali and Alabang FILinvest or maybe crosswinds if you're in the south it is just besides tagaytay
If you are in Tagaytay then you won’t be affected by the eruption except maybe by the dust. Tagaytay is like a part of Cavite. Taal Volcano is located in Taal in the province of Batangas that can be seen in Tagaytay, which is kinda high up in the mountains. Taal volcano is one of the known smallest volcano in the world. The volcano is in a lake within a lake.
Story is right. You are too close to the volcano 🌋. Like a floating iceberg, the volcano's mountain is right under you. The smouldering top is actually the baby of the old crater now filled by a lake. Rolling low thick clouds ☁︎ and volcanic ashes constantly deteriorates the building's exterior as should be expected.
you got some good footage there.. looks about same time .. I was driving through that at robinsons near skyranch ... as we live in Tagaytay near hotel Kimberly.. I am British from M/cr! small world .. mad when you think of it your channel should be 8K miles from Home lol

I can see the resemblance of story and her Grandma..such beauty
Story looks like her beautiful grandmother 😍
You can ask the reception if they provide the telescope. It maybe there for safe keeping..
Love the whole family’s reaction in the midst of the clouds, Story is simply adorable.

True while the nearest volcano in Metro Manila called “Laguna Caldera” while the 7 lakes of San Pablo were called craters.

Hi, welcome to Tagaytay! I am staying in Serin East near Ayala Mall in Tagaytay. Let's have coffee sometime if you are interested.
My parents have a place overlooking the volcano. After the big eruption, their place in Tagaytay was fine but just required heavy cleanup from ash.
oh we go there every weekend, we live in manila and every friday lunch time we drive to tagaytay sm wind, and stay until monday morning.
Wow beautiful scenery...amazing💓💓💓
You picked the perfect day to be able to capture that massive cloud on video.
How lucky you are to have a beautiful view of the Taal volcano. May be at night it might be different
