- We took a new airline from a new airport in Manila today. First impressions of Sunlight Air to Siargao were very weird! It's definitely not how we expected the travel day to start.
Flying Sunlight air to Siargao is quite a new service so today we filmed an airline review of our first time going from their hanger which is called INAEC Hanger D. It was actually very good and we are so impressed with their service. We actually think it might be the future of air travel in the near future. Smaller, more private, but budget flights to get from island to island is a nice experience.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to the Philippines Siargao island and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

I just checked Sunlight Air prices and oh my! It is indeed cheaper than the rest of the other airlines! That is so impressive!
Sunlight Air is a domestic chartered air service that is now offering commercial domestic fare, that's nice. It flies to major tourist destinations and may become a new competitor to the major commercial airlines.

Yes I feel sorry that it's like only 10 people when the price is only half but looks more comfortable. Most people doesnt know about it yet, including me until now, hopefully it gets well known. I hope they fly Seoul, Japan, HK, Thailand, etc, SG, Sydney soon too.

Kudos to the Philippine government for allowing more businesses to participate and compete in Philippine economy. Competition always brings the best in terms of service and products.

I love it! Having grown up in General Aviation and on small town airport, Sunlight Air is a pilot's dream airline, The only thing better would have been to have jumped into the co-pilot seat of the KingAir or Helicopter in the hanger and taken off for Siargao.

thank you for this. actually there was once an airline that serviced islands in the philippines, it was called SeaAir and it was one of my fave local flights ever. it got bought out by asian spirit, turned to zest air and is now operating as air asia
Anecdotes for those two airlines: SeaAir circa 2011... was Boracay-bound, and that day there was a lot of turbulence that SeaAir's small aircraft could normally handle. I guess it was the FA's first time getting bounced around, so she screamed 'Fasten YOUR SEATBEEEEEEELLTS!!!' so loudly, everyone panicked because of her.
And you know the _old joke_ about Asian Spirit's slogan? *"Asian Spirit. Fly as an Asian, land as a Spirit.'* LOL. Not true though, haha.
That's a good sign to have a new boutique airline flying; that should help spur more travel around the islands; stay safe!

I am from Siargao and i must say beaches are common for me.
But i love my Island...
I have never been to other places other than surigao and it was 4 years ago...

That's the other boutique airline company based in Clark Airport in Pampanga, born at the peak of the pandemic time owned by a young Pinay billionaire. There are other airlines that are similar to that like 1. SkyJet 2. Royal Air (the other Clark-based airline) 3. and Swift Airways are owned by the Ayalas. Cheers! Love the content, first of its kind.

Those hangars where you've entered are used mostly by private airlines usually but this Sunlight airline is quite new to me likewise. I once rode a private shuttle service airline also just nearby in that area and it was for passengers going to Balesin resort island.

Oh wow.... That's a very nice airline. The plane is a lot bigger than Pacific. Sunlight Airkines should give you miktiple free flights from Siargao to Manila and vice versa for promoting them. For sure, after people watching this vlog, their bus8ness will balloon (grow bigger).
The chair is like spirit airlines. Hardly have any cushion but definitely cheap.
