What a humble man. He seems to be the type of individual that would be a joy to know. Loved him in GOT’s . The first time I saw Ned Stark loose his head I was devastated. Wonderful character.
Larrys not even letting him finish his answer, he’s a crap insincere interviewer, he’s lucky to be interviewing such a humble, polite and talented human being like Sean.
That always bothered me too Dmitri lol... but Sansa isn't a man, she was raised to be a Lady, I don't think it was culturally required of the Ladies of House Stark to also be executioners. They weren't raised that way. But Ned's sons absolutely were raised that way, all of them. So Sansa even though she's the head and face currently of House Stark can get away with relegating that responsibility to her younger sister Arya, which is close enough. Arya probably prefers it that way, anyway lol
Ever since I was kid I loved the character of Boromir in The Lord Of The Rings. You'll probably never see this Sean but thank you for your absolute masterclass performance of one of my favorite fictional characters. Cheers.
Stop saying he’s underrated. He’s highly rated, one of the best niche actors of our generation. He’s an experienced stage actor. Acted in the finest and legendary fantasy roles. It’s because he’s not compared to other stars that are always in the eye of the media. He’s kept busy and kept acting in British stage plays like Shakespeare and such.

Love Sean Bean! One of the best of the best actors and down to earth at the same time! Memorable is a poor word to describe him. One of the few actors I would love to meet some day. Can't wait to see the 3rd season in The Frankenstein Chronicles.
Sean looks more badass the older he gets. Can't have needed much makeup when playing Ned Stark other than the wig. And he's so shy and humble, typical Northener. :D
It's not shyness, Northerners aren't shy, they don't brag though and action means more than words. But don't forget, he has to be careful how he speaks as otherwise many of Larry's audience wouldn't understand his city dialect
Sean Bean knows his craft and is fully self aware and understands his role as an actor and the things he’s going to put himself through as a person each time he takes a role. An amazing actor and a respectful human being
You can see the frustration as Sean keeps getting cut off mid question. I feel like his interviewer is just trying to stick to a very strict time frame with a very strict script instead of giving the listeners what they want
Sean Bean has always delivered perfection. No one could ever say Sean Bean was bad. I have done some acting and he is my man I wish I could play against.
There is nothing you can do about stage fright except to step on stage and hope for the best. You have to trust on your rehearsals and the people around you because once you step into the spotlight, there is no way you can escape unseen. Use the fear to push yourself forward and let the energy carry you through your piece.
17:40 ~ that bit about taking a bite of cake, then taking a swig of milk while the cake's still in your mouth - that resonated with me on a deep, profound level. Sean Bean is my kinda guy 👍
Love Sean Bean! Excellent actor, down to earth, sublime in his view of the world. I wish Larry would let him finish his thoughts before moving onto the next question tho… That said, thank you Larry for this interview, Sean’s the best!
He played Lady Chatterley's lover on a BBC TV show. And then Richard madden also played Lady Chatterley's lover on a BBC TV show. That's the stark truth.
Larry always seems like everything is brand new to him. He calls it "The" Game of Thrones, he's not sure when Sharpe began or ended, he's constantly out of it in terms of what he's talking about.
One thing that I find ironic -- and maybe it's just me -- is, for the man who always dies, in the Beowulf (2007) version, the depiction of Beowulf (the man who never dies) looks remarkably like Sean Bean.
One of the things Benioff & Weiss got right was the casting of GoT. Starting with Sean Bean in the part of Ned Stark. He was older than the book character, but somehow was perfect in the role. Love that he still in touch with Bobby B himself- Mark Addy. I think it's time for a Season 1 rewatch.
haha that's a pretty cool idea, they used to both look sort of alike, they've been around the same time, had many co stars I think them working together would be fantastic
Great shout that they’d be brilliant on screen together ironically Sean bean actually turned downtrend full monty due to being busy then Robert Carlyle got the part of Gaz instead
@@o.b.herbie4135 That is ironic mate. I'm going to take the idea further here and ask what would you be your opinion on them doing a production written by Jimmy McGovern as both actors have starred in his work before!??

I really don't get the thing with America. If doing an interview, atleast be polite and pretend (?) to be interested. What on earth is this paperreading-mischmasch-commercial-in-between-interview-sort of embarrassing thing. Jesus. Feel sorry for SB.
Game of Thrones disproves his theory.. Playing the nicest, honourable friend and loving husband and father of five..... and they kill him in the first season xD
They all did a very good job acting but putting the accents on, but being from the UK I can sorta tell the ones who are putting it on and those who are natural. The who played Reek/Feon did a pretty good job though, his sounded quite authentic.
This is one of the worst interviews that I've recently seen and not because of Sean. The questions were dull and rushed and the interviewer had no relevant comment on any of the guest's answers. It felt like Sean was responding to a timed question generator.
What a humble man. He seems to be the type of individual that would be a joy to know. Loved him in GOT’s . The first time I saw Ned Stark loose his head I was devastated. Wonderful character.

I think I won't watch this then uhg.
Norm Macdonald proved this by being interviewed twice by Larry and telling two stories, of having and not having met Johnny Carson.
I knew Larry reminded me of someone. That goblin in the bank at the desk of the first harry potter.
He stars in "the first and only season" but eddard stark is still the most beautiful character and the most remembered one in both series and books

Sean Bean, a wonderful actor and gentleman.
Also: Boromir, the only truly human character. You know, with weaknesses.

Thanks, now i don't have to type same thing. Christ Larry, almost like he just keeps slapping his guest.

This is literally the reason I've been binge watching Sean Bean interviews. So soothing.
New ASMR video
If you think his voice gives you Asmr. Try Viggo Mortensen. A.K.A Aragon.😄😴⚔
Sean Bean was fantastic as Sharpe, every episode was just great
The foundation that he made was so strong that the GOT could sustain on it. Incredible actor and character. Did a total justice.

Is this an interview or interrogation?
How shy. Get this man a script. Love you Sean.
Sean Bean carried this interview, Felt Larry was rushing him a little
Not a natural conversation, very forced and scripted questions.
You can see the frustration as Sean keeps getting cut off mid question. I feel like his interviewer is just trying to stick to a very strict time frame with a very strict script instead of giving the listeners what they want
One of the best actors alive.
I first saw Sean Bean in the British series - "Sharpe's Rifles." BEFORE "The Lord Of The Rings."
"Do you know George Martin?"
"Yeah"
"He wrote them."

a quietly spoken, humble man - in that sense, rather like his character in Broken, an essential story for our times.
larry king is such a bad interviewer, can't he let him finish at least 1 sentence? this isn't a discussion
I agree.
that's my thinking throughout entire interview too
Larry asks the next question before his guests have a chance to answer the one before....

Asking a Tyke if they're from London is like asking an American if they're Canadian

When he said, did you grow up in London haha! When I go to London people look at me like I've punched their child purely from being from York
Cant argue with that
Why do people in London dislike folks from York so much?
@@ilderogtyde because Yorkshire is God's own county and them down south are dull of wits
He played Lady Chatterley's lover on a BBC TV show. And then Richard madden also played Lady Chatterley's lover on a BBC TV show. That's the stark truth.

I always did like Sean Bean and his accent is amazing.
Great Sheffield accent he has. He didn't even have to put on a Northern accent for the role.
