Larrys not even letting him finish his answer, he’s a crap insincere interviewer, he’s lucky to be interviewing such a humble, polite and talented human being like Sean.
I think I won't watch this then uhg.
“The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword.“
That always bothered me too Dmitri lol... but Sansa isn't a man, she was raised to be a Lady, I don't think it was culturally required of the Ladies of House Stark to also be executioners. They weren't raised that way. But Ned's sons absolutely were raised that way, all of them. So Sansa even though she's the head and face currently of House Stark can get away with relegating that responsibility to her younger sister Arya, which is close enough. Arya probably prefers it that way, anyway lol
Tu Ho
Soooooo profound!! 👌🏾
I knew Larry reminded me of someone. That goblin in the bank at the desk of the first harry potter.
He stars in "the first and only season" but eddard stark is still the most beautiful character and the most remembered one in both series and books
Sean beans voice is relaxing af
He should pair with Liam Neeson ina movie!
Yes. Unintentional asmr.
This is literally the reason I've been binge watching Sean Bean interviews. So soothing.
New ASMR video
If you think his voice gives you Asmr. Try Viggo Mortensen. A.K.A Aragon.😄😴⚔
What a humble man. He seems to be the type of individual that would be a joy to know. Loved him in GOT’s . The first time I saw Ned Stark loose his head I was devastated. Wonderful character.
The North remembers!
Robert Machulla too bad Ned doesn't
Da Norf Remembers!
Winter is coming
@@johnsreactions6658 Actually April is coming
The North vaguely recalls
Sean Bean, a wonderful actor and gentleman.
Also: Boromir, the only truly human character. You know, with weaknesses.
Stop saying he’s underrated. He’s highly rated, one of the best niche actors of our generation. He’s an experienced stage actor. Acted in the finest and legendary fantasy roles. It’s because he’s not compared to other stars that are always in the eye of the media. He’s kept busy and kept acting in British stage plays like Shakespeare and such.
In the eyes of the public, if you're not in the hollywood movies consistently, you're underrated
He's in everything but he's still underrated!!
Ever since I was kid I loved the character of Boromir in The Lord Of The Rings. You'll probably never see this Sean but thank you for your absolute masterclass performance of one of my favorite fictional characters.
Cheers.
I've told him to his face ...😊
18:32
Larry King: "ever been starstruck?"
Sean Bean: (hesitates...mumbles and proceeds by giving a great & funny answer) "well I looked I the mirror this mornig and was...🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sean Bean was fantastic as Sharpe, every episode was just great
"Do you know George Martin?"
"Yeah"
"He wrote them."
Lmao wtf
My brother, my captain, my king!
Sauron > Aragon
LOTR!!! ♡♡♡♡
He is also a lover😁
Larry, why not give these guests an opportunity to elaborate on their answers before you steamroll them into the next question?
Indeed. I can't stand people that do this. Shows disinterest in the answer.
Agreed mate
Thanks, now i don't have to type same thing. Christ Larry, almost like he just keeps slapping his guest.
Getting complacent there larry!
Senility.
The foundation that he made was so strong that the GOT could sustain on it. Incredible actor and character. Did a total justice.
Sean Bean carried this interview, Felt Larry was rushing him a little
Not a natural conversation, very forced and scripted questions.
Sean looks more badass the older he gets. Can't have needed much makeup when playing Ned Stark other than the wig. And he's so shy and humble, typical Northener. :D
Might not even have been a wig? He has amazing hair. Jealous.
It's not shyness, Northerners aren't shy, they don't brag though and action means more than words.
But don't forget, he has to be careful how he speaks as otherwise many of Larry's audience wouldn't understand his city dialect
Heavily underrated actor
He's so elegante in many ways.
Everyone: *likes the video because they like it*
Me: *likes the video because it's got Sean Bean in it*
What a brave , honest man man .
dont worry Sean, the North Remembers
it sure remembers the last season haha.
"I've not done a lot over Christmas". Awww, this man is so sweet.
Such a humble and generous man, and ofcourse a brilliant actor, no doubt about that.
Sean Bean knows his craft and is fully self aware and understands his role as an actor and the things he’s going to put himself through as a person each time he takes a role. An amazing actor and a respectful human being
One of the best actors alive.
Trevelyan was the best Bond villain of all time. Such a well written character and Sean Bean played it perfectly.
Love how Sean hasn’t lost his accent x
How shy. Get this man a script. Love you Sean.
a quietly spoken, humble man - in that sense, rather like his character in Broken, an essential story for our times.
Larry's old enough to be the night kings grandfather
hahahah!
You can see the frustration as Sean keeps getting cut off mid question. I feel like his interviewer is just trying to stick to a very strict time frame with a very strict script instead of giving the listeners what they want
Yes!!! Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North, and Hand of the King!!!!
Asking a Tyke if they're from London is like asking an American if they're Canadian
sean bean is the idol of all Yorkshire folk
And the most sexy voice EVER
When he said, did you grow up in London haha! When I go to London people look at me like I've punched their child purely from being from York
Cant argue with that
Why do people in London dislike folks from York so much?
@@ilderogtyde because Yorkshire is God's own county and them down south are dull of wits
Sean’s voice is hypnotizing. I wish i sounded like him.
Is this an interview or interrogation?
Sean Bean has always delivered perfection. No one could ever say Sean Bean was bad. I have done some acting and he is my man I wish I could play against.
Larry always seems like everything is brand new to him. He calls it "The" Game of Thrones, he's not sure when Sharpe began or ended, he's constantly out of it in terms of what he's talking about.
Love Sean Bean! One of the best of the best actors and down to earth at the same time! Memorable is a poor word to describe him. One of the few actors I would love to meet some day. Can't wait to see the 3rd season in The Frankenstein Chronicles.
He played Lady Chatterley's lover on a BBC TV show. And then Richard madden also played Lady Chatterley's lover on a BBC TV show. That's the stark truth.
Hahaha funny BUT Sean Bean was so much more convincing in that role...and "his" film was much closer to the novel.
The Frankenstein Chronicles is great!
Oh how I love the English Northern accent, and then his beautiful voice on top of it... ❤️
11:04 I love how he mentions True Detective, such an underrated show (season 1 at least), I'm glad he caught on to it
very great, multi talented actor.....his older movies were superb
Glad to see you're ok, Boromir.
Watch Sean in Frankenstein Chronicles....... fabulous!
I'll never get over that. Pure honor in his last moment
Sean Bean has a marvelous voice - like velvet
SAPHIR ZAFIRO I will be cool to see Sean Bean in a marvel film like Doctor Strange 2 or Ant Man 3.
There is nothing you can do about stage fright except to step on stage and hope for the best. You have to trust on your rehearsals and the people around you because once you step into the spotlight, there is no way you can escape unseen. Use the fear to push yourself forward and let the energy carry you through your piece.
larry king is such a bad interviewer, can't he let him finish at least 1 sentence? this isn't a discussion
I agree.
that's my thinking throughout entire interview too
Larry asks the next question before his guests have a chance to answer the one before....
It's unbelievable
Just watched this, the other day and now he's gone?
What!? I'm speechless
...
Rest in peace #larryking
His death was the most heart breaking 😭💔 #NedStark
17:40 ~ that bit about taking a bite of cake, then taking a swig of milk while the cake's still in your mouth - that resonated with me on a deep, profound level. Sean Bean is my kinda guy 👍
Sean Bean is awesome. Always humble and kind, with a great personality. And a very talented actor! And I love his accent and the sound of his voice!
Sean Bean deserves so much more, as did Ned Stark
He is a really nice guy
I enjoyed hearing he talks ~ Sean
Sean bean for Macbeth movie
He seems the nicest guy
One thing that I find ironic -- and maybe it's just me -- is, for the man who always dies, in the Beowulf (2007) version, the depiction of Beowulf (the man who never dies) looks remarkably like Sean Bean.
Or, is it just me?
@@marigeobrien I genuinely thought it was him too when I saw stills and posters then Ray Winstones voice came out on the trailer I was shocked 😮😂🤣😂🤣😂
Sean bean really likes birds, almost as much as he loves his tree climbing
absolute gent
One of the Coolest Guy on an Earth. Sean bean😍😘❤❤
"You carry the fate of us all little one, but if this is indeed the will of the council then Gondor will see it done".
06:37
Larry: your son on game of thrones, Jon Snow...?
Sean: ... ... ... yes... ...
Would love to see Sean and Robert Carlyle work together
In a When Saturday Comes/The Full Monty Sheffield-based cross-over?
haha that's a pretty cool idea, they used to both look sort of alike, they've been around the same time, had many co stars I think them working together would be fantastic
Great shout that they’d be brilliant on screen together ironically Sean bean actually turned downtrend full monty due to being busy then Robert Carlyle got the part of Gaz instead
@@o.b.herbie4135 That is ironic mate. I'm going to take the idea further here and ask what would you be your opinion on them doing a production written by Jimmy McGovern as both actors have starred in his work before!??
@@98Ashb I think it would be brilliant I know Sean Bean is Filming another Jimmy McGovern project with Stephen Graham at the moment called Time where Sean’s a prisoner and Stephens a prison officer 😁 who knows hopefully he gets to work with Robert Carlyle soon be amazing mate 👍🏼
Love Sean Bean! Excellent actor, down to earth, sublime in his view of the world. I wish Larry would let him finish his thoughts before moving onto the next question tho…
That said, thank you Larry for this interview, Sean’s the best!
i love Sean - my favorite actor
Larry plans on spending his retirement opening a pickle jar.
When Saturday Comes
I think Troy was the only movie I've seen him in where he didn't die. The strangest thing about that too is all the other major characters did lol.
Also national treasure
@@msvd10he dies in National Treasure
@@Oceanleighside lol
My man; Glorious; Greatness that he is
This man is 60 years old?! Old age definetly isn't what it used to be. He looks 45-50
I LOVE SEAN BEAN!
sexy sean
I first saw Sean Bean in the British series - "Sharpe's Rifles." BEFORE "The Lord Of The Rings."
A wonderful human being .😍
Game of Thrones disproves his theory.. Playing the nicest, honourable friend and loving husband and father of five..... and they kill him in the first season xD
He comes across so well: not a hint of pomposity about him.
Holy crap Larry King. Wait for the guy to answer...good grief if you weren't interested in hearing his answers, don't interview him. Sheesh.
Winter ain't coming, it has arrived BIG time!
For England, James?
no, for me
Ronin was an EPIC movie in a genre that allows no EPIC movies. Sean Bean is the Epic Movie Man. Bit a rasberry jam back there.
WINTER IS COMING
One true king of the north
Larry King always seems like he doesn't know what he is talking about and I love it
Rip Larry king
Superb in the martian."he not even got to the bad stuff vincent "..as in all things...a prince among men
I liked the frankenstein show but mainly because sean bean was in it
I really don't get the thing with America. If doing an interview, atleast be polite and pretend (?) to be interested. What on earth is this paperreading-mischmasch-commercial-in-between-interview-sort of embarrassing thing. Jesus. Feel sorry for SB.
Larry king is old enough to recall the earliest episodes of weebl and bob
Never again, will the land of my people fall into enemy hands!
He is sorta like Eddard in real life.
Exactly why they picked him, he has that personality
I always did like Sean Bean and his accent is amazing.
Great Sheffield accent he has. He didn't even have to put on a Northern accent for the role.
Damhnaic yeah the other actors had to imitate his accent. Particularly, the Stark children.
They all did a very good job acting but putting the accents on, but being from the UK I can sorta tell the ones who are putting it on and those who are natural. The who played Reek/Feon did a pretty good job though, his sounded quite authentic.
At 21:00, King has NO IDEA what show he is talking about, and Sean just rolls along with it.
lol I noticed this too, but sean is a typical yorkshireman and we don't want to hurt peoples feelings
Real cringeworthy. Such a good show and such a good actor do not deserve to be interviewed by this fossil who cannot even have his facts straight.
He can impersonate birds? Larry failed hard by not letting us in on that. Bummer!
Patriot Games is a great film. He played a great part as IRA
Chosen man Sharpe!
My Lord Forever
i like him very much, and love his voice
Happy birthday sean from italian boy live in rome
