They need to make a Sean Bean movie where everyone dies but him.
AttackCadillac Its called the first Silent Hill movie that came out in 2006. By the end, everyone was dead but him.
RogunK pretty sure he died in the sequel
Only saw the first one, no reason to watch any of the follow up movies.
AttackCadillac and Morgan freeman plays a character who cant speak...
+Internet Peoples That'll be the day!
I think it's funny that he didn't die in "Troy" but nearly everyone else died in that movie!
+Ninaofthe90s Well Odysseus' story continued after Troy (based on the Iliad) and from it The Odyssey was born. He didn't die in that either. It would be pretty stupid if he did die. On the other hand, Achilles and Hector both died in the Iliad so their deaths were true to the original but the husband of Helen (name escapes me) was not supposed to die and Paris was supposed to die so Orlando Bloom got off easy on that one!
He was probably really apprehensive about the role, I bet he thought it might ruin his reputation ;)
arcotroll That's the one! It was funny how badly he was portrayed in the movie, in the Iliad and indeed the Odyssey, he is portrayed as heroic and there are hints there that he is a family man suggesting he would never give Helen cause to resent him.
+arcotroll Nice guys do not lead world conquering armies. :P
+gallopracerfan It was definitely a melodramatic film but he didn't have a big role himself so no harm done. We still respect you Sean Bean!
One does not simply cast Sean Bean without his character dying.
It's happened 12 times
Richard Sharpe, take it or leave it.
Major Richard Sharpe! Sean Bean's greatest character... lives forever!
@@cute_canadian_redhead6747 What are the chances he might be cast in the MCU, and if he does do you think he would live or die?
Beans Agent: "Hey Sean i have a new role for you"
Sean Bean: "Ok how will i die"
This is why they can't make a Sean Bean documentary, because it would put his life in jeopardy.
Fluffy Bunny most underrated you-tube comment.
Fluffy Bunny You're so right! XD I love your comment!
Fluffy Bunny they will do this documentary when he dies for real..
+Fluffy Bunny a home movie would kill his entire family
+Fluffy Bunny They will have to wait until he dies, then they can make a documentary
"What do we say to the God of Death?"
"Sean Bean is over there!"
😂😂😂 this is the best comment i have ever seen hahaha
I see Kenny!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣
All i see is a Honorable Man.. The Lord Of Winterfell.
And the Warden of the North
Hand of the King.
Protector of the Realm ..... and a traitor *grabs popcorn
Protector of Targaryan
and Dead...
"I'm a soldier. I learned how to die a long time ago."
Still gives me feels.
I find it ironic how Sean Bean's first movie was called "the first of many".
Artemis Fowl did he dieded?
Yes. I'm most certain that he died in that film. There are very few movies where Sean Bean DOESN'T die.
Artemis Fowl Dieded*
Artemis Fowl Troy is the only one ive watched, where he doesnt die. well many of his movies were before my time.
Matze Oderso National Treasure and Troy are the only ones I know :D
I like to think that every time Sean Bean is given a script the first thing he says is, without even looking at it, "Alright, how do I die on this one?"
He has to promise people he won't die in TV series so...... (Except GOT)
I'm sure he does lol
"What's your favorite fantasy franchise?"
"The one where Sean Bean dies at the end of the first one."
"... Which one?"
He always does his best in medieval movies and shows.
Especially when he's the Lord of Winterfell! 😌
+Starlight Glimmer I loved him in lotr
Starlight Glimmer was*
When you say "his best", you mean "dying", don't you?
@@russiandrago821 He is son of Denethor Son of Ecthilion Lord and Steward of Hondor
Even if he was casted in a Disney animated film Sean Bean would still die.
That's not too shocking all he'd have to do is play a Disney parent problem solved. For some reason Disney families are almost never whole.
Well, Sean Bean hasn't accomplished a Disney film death yet, although fellow often-killed actor John Hurt has (the Horned King in Black Cauldron).
223Drone he was and didn't. National Treasurer.
Mark Welschmeyer
But... National Treasure wasn't a Disney Animated Picture. That was the original idea.
223Drone He would be Bambi's mum in a Bambi remake.
One does not simply die as much as Sean Bean
Lmao
Simply does not.
Wha????
JustAskMeTV101 you don't get the reference... do you?
Good one. One does not simply make good Boromir jokes xD
I liked the one where he died
eh.. um, which one?
LOOOL!
well that narrows it down to every movie Sean Bean's been in I suppose.
Sin of Damnation uh which one? He dies in every movie
Mario the fat Plumber wow u did get the joke u little jerk
"Rest in peace son of Gondor." I'm in tears every time.
Anyone who's played Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion knows Sean Bean dies in video games too.
:D
Wait wha?
jesse gae
Sacrificed himself to summon a dragon god to push back a great evil. It was epic.
Cool.
Jasuchin Faron HE PLAYED MARTIN SEPTIM!
"I learned how to die a long time ago." - Sean Bean certainly is well versed in the art of dying.
One does not simply lets Sean Bean live through a movie.
He himself said something similar...
Oh my God! They killed Sean Bean! You basterds!
Totally, if they ever make a live action adaptation of South Park, Sean Bean would make a great Kenny.
I can't help thinking that whenever Sharpe survives yet another battle, siege, duel or attempt on his life, somewhere else another Sean Bean character has to die to restore the equilibrium.
I see what you did there.
Steven McBrien at least he didn't die in The Island...
Rodrigo Ventilari That was an honorable mention.
Steven McBrien Thats true lol :D
Steven McBrien LOL!!
Sean bean is just a grown up version of Kenny from South Park
Or krillin from dbz..
"Oh my god you killed sean bean!!" "you bastards!"
Jay Garrick Aragorn going ssj should become canon.
DoctaDaKing THIS! +1 Internetz to you, good sir!
When his in the movie you Just say *sean Bean death number 10000*
3:30 Young Sean looks exactly like the Younger Ned Stark in GOT Tower of joy scene🤤
French uop that’s because he plays him
Sean Bean gets cast in a Star Wars movie. He goes up against a Stormtrooper. The Stormtrooper misses every shot, Sean Bean dies anyway.
Actually if he is in a Star wars Movie he would be a Jedi plus he would make a basass jedi
Dammit, I was going to say that.
Do you want this? Do you really want this??
@@PrincessToyNerd Kind of, yes.
"All Sean Beans must die."
Ellen Lee lol
XD
talesin- god of the internet lol
+Ellen Lee what if he's some cloning experiment fail and they use the clones which actually die for real? :D
+Plevell Like in The Prestige? Now that's a role he should've played.
I was crying during Ned Starks dead, he was my favorite character, now i like Jon Snow more, but he knows nothing
mrjacob0101Jon snow died now too
thanks for spoilers idiot i am at mid-season 3
mrjacob0101
OH THE IRONY
now that i am caught up im 99% conviced The Red Woman is gonna revive Jon
its game of thrones after all you never know
YES BOROMIR HE DEFINITELY DESERVES NO 1
Jarl Isobel Sutcliff YAS
***** For once, Saruman, I actually agree with you! (:
That was Sean Bean's favorite death as well haha
Jarl Isobel Sutcliff I wasn't al, the way through this vid, I was hoping that one would be on here. That's the only reason I watched this vid, and as soon as I saw this comment I was just like YES!!
"Be at peace. Son of Gondor"
Hopefully, Marvel hires him to portray Uncle Ben now that Spider-Man is in the MCU.
+Marshall Street Yeah I agree
It aint gonna take long for spiderman to leave the mcu either
Marshall Street id support that
DUDE.
And dead
when a actor dies so many times in films he needs his very own top 10 list for his deaths...what a great actor.
Plus honorable mentions
One day, I want to see a movie, starring Sean Bean as himself, that consists entirely of him trying not to die in a series of dangerous accidents. Like Final Destination, but with a massive scoop of in-joke.
LOL YES!! I want to see that movie!
Lol yes
So, it would be kinda like My Name is Bruce was to Bruce Campbell?
I would watch that movie as many times as is possible
I would watch that movie as many times as is possible
"Sean Bean has made a career out of it" No Sean Bean has made a career out of being a completely flawless actor who's characters happen to die a lot. He would still be considered a great if this was not the case.
What is dead may never die! What is Sean Bean will always die! Hope you GoT the joke :)
LOL
yep got it
Except Ned wasn't a greyjoy
Death is coming! And Sean Bean comes with it! GoT it?
What are you Tolkien about?
He looks so good in medieval clothing + beard, he should play more roles like that :D
agreed.
+MrsJadeCurtiss He was excellent in Black Death. Melisandre is in it as well, as the necromancer, playing a familiar role. I'd recommend it if you haven't seen it already.
Patrick Dillon
Oh, sounds good :D maybe im gonna watch that
+MrsJadeCurtiss He was awesome in Kingdom of Heaven, sadly he died in that movie, but i guess that's not a spoiler cuz he always dies
Metal God
ok then im gonna put that on my list as well :D almost getting a full sean bean movie night at this rate xD
I wanna see a movie with Sean Bean, Directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The twist would be that Sean Beans character lives.
will if M. Night Shyamalan directing it, it's going to be dogshit of a movie.
isaac adam Thats the other thing! It would be good! WHAT A TWIST
Hey maybe he has been deliberately making shit movies to lead up to some elaborate twist that he can actually make a good movie.
HA
In Silent Hill revelations he technically didn't die. He just didn't leave silent hill :D
This is why I love him retired and golfing at the end of The Martian.
Thomas O'Hearn I mean his career was killed.
The North Remembers, we miss you Ned. :C
Sean Bean is a walking spoiler
LOL
This comment deserves more
Theres no denying that this time watch mojo got their top pick right, even Sean bean himself said the scene as Boromir was his best death scene.
12:34 ONE SIMPLY DOES NOT
libby
Insert bottom text
"I would have followed you, my brother... my captain... my king."
I clicked this just to make sure the Lord of the Rings was number one
All in order
Lol, same as me. All in order
Katie Mae I literally did the exact same thing! hahaha
Same here!
Me too, lol.
Katie Mae i did the same for game of thrones but i was wrong
Game of Thrones should have been number one. I have never been more shocked by a death on TV or in a movie, than I was by that one. He was both the biggest name actor and the main character of the show, and they killed him off suddenly because Joffrey said so. That moment made Game of Thrones the most unpredictable show I've ever seen.
But LotR is much Vetter than GoT
Rheyz Bfhpro Oh hell no. LotR is self important and boring. GoT has a vastly superior sense of humor, far more unpredictable plots, better acting, better characters. GoT wrecks LotR.
Better acting? Haha good joke. You Sir have absolutly no Knowledge about this. Its not just because of Fun that Lord of the Rings is the most succesfull Trilogy on this Planet with way more prices for great acting and stuff.
And his death scene from GoT is so annoying, even though it could be "shocking" for a Fan. But his death in LotR shocked everyone out there, even Fans oft the book
Game of Thrones may have good actors, ect... But its like any typical Fantasy series today. 50% Story/Plot 50% Porn. Good Films or series dont need that. And you forgot, that without LotR GoT couldn't even exist. The Author was great Fan of Tolkien and his Stories and took much of his work as inspiration for his.
Ironically I could see a young Sean Bean perfectly cast as Jaime Lannister.
There's even enough to do honourable mentions!
I agree, LOTR was an Epic death for a Sean Bean Character.
BTW he should do a highlander film and be the only immortal who gets to the end and get the prize, that will be epic as everybody will expect him to die.
That'd be funny.
thank you, for putting LOTR first, thank you
+Legolas I was wtf.. GoT no2.. but then when LoTR spawn as no1.. no wonder..
because..? "one does not simply fight with a great internet memes.."
hahaha.. :D
:D
So legolas, what do you think about your latest movie? Your chick ran away with a dwarf :/
The Purple Emperor PR it doesn`t matter, because I have your mum
ohhh ok hahah you trying that one huh, your clothes look real tight bro, sure tell alot, maybe thats the reason she ran off with a dwarf, because atleast thats big relative to what you carry... Cough* if anything XD
I still get chills with boromirs last words. good on you sean for that amazing performance
you forgot The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion where he voiced Martin Septim
At least someone remembers. Probably the only role I can think of where his character's sacrifice was decisively willful. Yet, this video seemed to focus mostly on him as a live actor.
Respect to Sean Bean for always dying, his deaths are very entertaining
Had you not picked Boromir's death as your number 1 choice, we would have crucified you WatchMojo.
he is such a good actor, I love him
"I learned how to die a long time ago." That you did Sean, that you did
I have the most unfortunate name. -_-
Sean Beahn close enough but you'll live
I think it would be cool if there was a south park episode where Sean Bean comes back from the dead and gets revenge on all the people who killed him in all his movies.
You, my friend, are a genius.. I would love to see this. I'm lolling
Like Jon Snow?
Making a list of his deaths is easy, how about making a list in which he survives? I dare you!
i love how they nailed his young version of Ned Stark in GoT
My brother, my Captain, my King... damn, this scene always makes me cry! One of his best performances, if not the best!
I'm so glad you never put game of thrones in front of LOTR:)
I always thought those two were the same thing.
josh buckley you poor child
***** Only except that it isn't :)
Boromir is easily the saddest death I have ever seen. The scene in LOTR always makes me tear up.
And in the book it was a hundred times sadder than in the film. I have read the books several times and watched the films several times but always cry my eyes out at the scene with Boromir's death
Are you bent?
As long as Richard Sharpe lives on, so will Sean Bean.
Well said!
You forgot the best death. when Martin Septim (Sean Bean) Destroyed the amulet of kings and invoked the avatar of Akatosh. and banished Mehrunes Dagon.
Oblivion :D I loved that game
+Uncle Radoje true
Nerds
Long live the Empire, traitor.
Says the guy with otaku in his name
A more Impressive list would be to list the ones where he lives.
I don't think there are enough of those movies to make a list.
not enough material for that lol
Hence the "more Impressive" part.
i agree with that but they would need ten shows and i don't see where they will find that.
National Treasure and that is it.
Another Sean is now succumbing to the same fate, only on TV... Sean Astin: ua-cam.com/video/uPcPEb_b4cI/v-deo.html (SPOILERS)
Could you make a Top 10 Movies where Sean Bean lived?
9:07 the red lady in GoT?
yep I think that's her
+Willemzz Jansen Mellisandre
+Willemzz Jansen Yeah it is her
I think so too
Carice van Houten, ironically she’s also wearing red in the film and putting someone to death.
No. 1 has to be boromir from Lord of the Rings! It was way more badass than Eddard Stark getting his head chopper off! I guess I'm about to see....
You and i thought the exact same thing when we opened this video rofl
And me lol
Same here aaaaand we were right.
Exactly! It is also the most rememberable because lotr is pretty much a classic by now.
DerBegginBlue The Whole defending the halflings was a way more epic finish for a character. But you defiantly feel more sad when Eddard Dies because a lot more goes into him. he is the main focus of the first season and book.
Amazing video of Sean Bean deaths
*"I LEARNED HOW TO DIE A LONG TIME AGO"*
One does not simply make a "Top 10 Sean Bean Deaths" video.
(Well, but WatchMojo did)
Don't miss theses other great videos,
Top 10 Tense Movie Moments
Top 10 Typecast Male Action Stars
Top 10 Nicolas Cage Moments
Top 10 Jeff Goldblum Moments
seriously number 1 and number 2 should swap
Do the top 10 oscar acceptance speeches
Hassanstark Thank you for saying it!
Does video games count Sean Bean played as Martin Septim is the elder scrolls 4 oblivion and died at the end
englandfootball8 It's not ignorance, they just don't care. They're American so it all adds up to people we beat in two wars and had to save in another two. Not really that important.
It's so hard to be the fan of an actor who's career stereotype is the guy that dies.
I think Sean Bean still has a lot of fans. Mickey Rourke has been killed off more often than him.
Sean Bean has died so many times, when it's for real he wont die :D
In case you were wondering how the Mojoholics voted in our poll, see the votes and entries here:

Sean Bean is a human spoiler
Can you please do top 10 harry potter monsters or creatures
+SUPERSTORM owen
That would be epic!
Now I imagine how everyone who has read the ASOIAF novels before the start of the TV series, was laughing when they found out Sean Bean will play Ned Stark.
Such a great actor ty for posting
I cant believe they could make a top 10 with honerable mentions as well. That is alot of deaths
One does not simply kill Sean Bean
Unfortunately, they can.
darthwafflecream But he always comes back!
...only to die another painful death. :(
darthwafflecream Beanin' ain't easy
*****
True dat.
He survived in Troy :)
And in the first National Treasure film as well.
And Silent Hill! :D
Cheng Peng he should have died in the second silent hill movie because harry mason (the character he played) dies in the game. But that was a piece of shit movie so it didn't really matter
@Yoloswaggin, He go in jail, but probably Died in, because he had to...
I think he is just in jail the second film just ignored him.
U shuld make top ten sean bean lives xD
There is only 4 or 5 movies when he lives
There are actually 12 movies at least where he lives
"Spoilers ahead!"
The man is a walking spoiler!
Can't watch a movie anymore if there's Sean Bean in it, I always assume he dies soon or later there lmfao
Ok I gotta be honest. WatchMojo arguably your best list ever and honestly, I cried a little in the Boromir death scene. At least it was one badass of a way to go.
Just saw Black Death. Funny how the actress who plays Melisandre in Game of Thrones is who kills him. She is also a necromancer in the film. Jon Snow anyone?
I fucking knew she looked like Mel
+Geeky Panda I knew it too but I wasn't sure.
I KNEW I RECOGNIZED HER!!!!!!
+Joe Madden She's got the red dress in this and everything.
+Joe Madden Carice van Houten :D
Sean Bean has to be the Kenny McCormick of Hollywood entertainment. This guy keeps coming back after his characters get killed off.
How have i not seen this yet!!!
where's Martin septim? Sean bean voiced the character.
John Blood That's what I was thinking as well. And it was such a badass death, too. I mean, he turned into fucking Akatosh.
Silver Pudding I know right?
They said only on film. Games don't count
805Goodland they specifically state that it's his characters that have to kick off. doesn't matter if it's film or tv. so it shouldn't matter if it's in a game either. a character he plays dies, therefor it qualifies.
At 0:30 they said they only used deaths from tv or film so there was no way Martin septim could've been on the list
They say cats have nine lives....big deal. They ain't got sh*t on Sean Bean.
Sean Bean's performance as Boromir was brilliant Thank you for this video. Now I can see the other 9 I've never seen. Never heard of him til LOTR'S. I tear up at his death every time I see it.
such an amazing actor and a sheer pleasure to watch on our screens! even if he does always die, but fr tho RIP Eddard Stark the north remembers!!
I cried when he died in Lord Of The Rings, he's my favorite actor in the series, but he died. so Rip
My brother, my captain, my king! The best!
Bean has died in so many creative ways that I feel like when he actually dies, it will be by a heart attack.
Yes, Sean Bean was Ned Stark in Game of Thrones and Boromir in The Lord of the Rings, but it's that meme that will outlast him, and he knows it. ;)
Ive never realized Sean Bean has died so many times in movies
I think that are 21 in total, more and less.
TheKeyser94 I wonder how many movies he managed to survive in
It's not many at all lol. But that's what makes him a good actor because he chooses it so.

Don't Say a Word - Patrick Koster is buried alive
Equilibrium - Death by Poetry - Partridge is blasted away by Christian Bale while reading Yeats
Essex Boys - Jason Locke meets a nasty end in a Range Rover

GoldenEye - Alec Trevelyan falls a long way down and is crushed by a satellite dish thing
Henry VIII - Robert Aske meets a gruesome end
The Island - Death by Clone. Merrick is shot in the throat by a nasty grabber thingy with a sharp

Six-Echo, the catwalk they're on collapses, and Merrick ends up dangling by the neck. Currently
the most creative dispatch of Sean's career. Definitely well hung.

in both of them.)
War Requiem - The German Soldier dies, but returns in the afterlife
Am I the only one who used to say 'Seen Bean'
Of course not. I did too.
My sisters call him "Seen Bean" as well as "Sean Bon". XD
EVERYBODY calls Sean Bean "Seen Bean!" :D
Nobody calls him Mr. Bean. :P
You're* not Yyou're. ;) If you're referring to me, Shona, yes. I'm American and I meant my previous comment as a jape.
well done
I cry everytime I watch LOTR. I love Sean Bean!
Sean Bean is probably the only character that actually dies in LOTR?
Well Gandalf does die, but gets rivived by some magic thingy of whatever.
Well, I think that also died the father of his character.
Gollum, Haldir, the Mouth of Sauron, the Witch King.
and *****, the mechanisms behind the spirits of Maiar and Istari, and the reason behind Gandalf's revival, are a bit more than just "some magic thingy or whatever". Sure not explicated in the films, but a thing that is there.
Spoiler Alert (hah.) Denethor, Théoden-King, Saruman, Wormtongue, Haldir, Gandalf the Grey (to be revived as Gandalf the White but eh), The Mouth of Sauron aaand Gollum. And let's not forget Sauron himself. That's only the notable deaths. So to be more accurate, Boromir is the only important character to die in the Fellowship of the Ring, not including flashback characters like Isildur, or villains like the Balrog.
Oh and let's not forget the Witch-King of Angmar!
Another Bean character with a sneaky death: Martin Septim in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion ;)
His best death in my opinion-
+Hart Ang Haha so so true. Took me a couple of playthroughs before I realized it was him.
Sean Bean is very like Albert Martinez (Philippine actor). They are both always having their character deaths in TV series. Both of them are famous and amazing actors.
Sean Bean is one of the very best actors of our age.
He is flawless in all his performances and beyond the status of an icon.
He is the one who died a thousand beautiful deaths
