  • RESTO S1. Ep. 1 - Pickle, Poppy, and Paul Page
What goes into caring for one of the world's premier car collections? Can it be driven hard and put away wet? Meet the three men that are the IMS Museum Restoration Team.
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is one of the world's premier destinations dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of motorsports competition and motor vehicles, with emphasis on the history of the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The Museum, located inside the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval, is open 363 days per year (except Thanksgiving and Christmas) and offers year-round IMS track tours (pending weather and track availability). It houses one of the world's top collections of race cars, historic automobiles and racing artifacts. Great video of true technicians performing the maintenance of these beautiful classics in the "Old School" tradition. BTW, if you haven't read Paul Page's autobiography yet, pick up a copy. It's a fascinating read!

This was a nice surprise! Just happened to catch the notification. It was nice getting to know more about the pieces of history you guys have and the people that care for them. Good editing and great to see Paul Page, and all the legends at the beginning!

I’ve always wondered how they got the alcohol out of the fuel systems of these cars. Looks like a real chore. It’s great to see videos like this but we need more roadster, next time!
