@@Flipdip32tbh Stannis wasn’t in the fight and a lot lord didn’t know him at all so he may not get the crown. Probably three man alliance of Tywin Ned Stark and Jon Arrya. Until our Jon snow become of age or if Ned convince them make him heir.
@@KOCChristian I don't think it would really matter if a lot of lords aren't familiar with Stannis, he'd still be Robert's heir AND unmarried. Knowing Tywin, he would probably want to marry him to Cersei if he still sided with the Rebels with both Robert and Rhaegar dead. Even then I still don't think it would be Jon. Either baby Aegon would still be alive, Rhaegar's firstborn son would have a much stronger claim than him, or Viserys, who would be older than both and was named heir by Aerys after Rhaegar's death over Aegon (who Tywin also supposedly wanted to marry to Cersei).
Oh, this idea been stuck in my head for a while now too. So many possibilities during the chaos of Robert's death, personally there I feel like a new Great Council to decide the new king is pretty possible and would be interesting.
A "what if" that's been stuck in my mind for a while, is what if Robert succumbed to his wounds at the Battle of the Trident. Like he was wounded after he killed Rhaegar, so it was very possible and it's a far more interesting "What if" then him just losing the battle. With one last big defeat, the Targaryen forces were done no matter what, but how would the rebellion really function in the aftermath. Also, with the death of Big Bobby B, the Lannister might be slower to responded and have to change plans, maybe even march towards Storm's End instead. I mean if Tywin wanted to butter up the rebellion, he might try and save Stannis instead. He would be the Heir of the rebellion after Robert's death. Which would lead to the Stark Forces reaching King's Landing First, I still think Jaime would kill the Mad King, but the aftermath would be way more chaotic. I can probably write 2-3 more paragraphs of this idea, but I don't feel like boring y'all. But just to share possible endings from this idea, there would have to be another Great Council to pick the next king. Yeah, Stannis would probably be chosen, but if the Stark's had taken King's landing, there would be no sacking or kid-killing. This means little Aegon, Rhaenys, and Elia Martell would still be alive, yeah Viserys and Daenerys would still be out there. But there will be more claims being seen. Plus, an unsuspecting chance of a possible Stark takeover. Like yeah Stannis is like 90% going to get it. But Eddard was leading forces, married to another great house in the Tullys and spent many years in the Vale. If the Tower of Joy stayed the same, then he would also have given back Dawn which would just give him more renown. Plus, if the rebellion allows the defected houses to vote, I don't think the Reach would want Stannis to win. Since you know, their probally afraid he holds a grudge. While Dorne would see him returning Dawn and sparing Elia Martell and her children as a plus. Not even mention the North, it's hard to not see the possibility of the realm picking our boy Nedd. But then again, Jon Arryn might not fully support Nedd, because like Nedd himself, probably sees it through the eyes of Stannis being next in line(Justice and all of that). Then Tywin would try and push for Stannis since Stannis can marry Cersei. His Faith would be a problem for some (sort of counterbalance with being married to Catelyn). And the fact that if Nedd spoke on the matter first, he would probably put his name out of the running right away and support Stannis. But if other people speak for their support for Nedd first, then there is a chance for King Eddard Start to be a possibility. (I could say more but I rather not write an essay on this idea.)
Like it a lot! I think another interesting one would be around Aegon's Conquest - what if the North never knelt, what if they got Dorne, wgat if Harren the Black bent the knee etc.
What if North never knelt?? - That's simple House Stark and any and every single House in the Northern Region would have burnt and wiped off from the face of the Earth...
Great damn video!!! Loved it! You definitely should make more what if videos!! There was another channel that did a bunch of them several years ago but they were not as cool as yours would be
Alternate history is one of my favorite fantasy genres. I really enjoyed this video. I hope you expand the concept to a regular series featuring Westorosoi alternate history. Obviously what if Rhaegar killed Robert on the Trident would be a highly requested topic.
I love the alt fantasy! I would be interested to see your take on what would have happened if the Andal Invasion failed, especially in the Vale. Also alternate timelines for the main series: Stannis doesn't kill Renly with a shadow baby, perhaps going after King's Landing first like the King's Men suggest; Edmure allows (or is unable to prevent) Tywin's crossing of the Trident, so Tywin can't stop the fall of KL; Theon is more competent when meeting with Balon and convinces him to invade the Westerlands for the greater plunder; Robb doesn't marry Jeyne Westerling so no Red Wedding but he's still losing the war and has to retake Moat Cailin from the ironborn; Oberyn isn't killed by the Mountain that Rides, and he and Tyrion sail to Dorne to crown Myrcella as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. There are so many cool options. Can't wait to see what you do next with 'What If?'
Love to see that one eyed birb man is crucial and thus have to be killed to rebellion to succeed. Every time scene of him dieing plays (really sure that they are different between each other) I have little giggle
I don't know if it would be possible considering the events of the main books aren't done yet but, i think what if Stannis won the battle of the Blackwater? could be a cool scenario
Some obvious what ifs: - robert lost - daeron the first succeeding in dorne - the greens winning concretely And one i’d love to see: - what if the lannisters sued for peace during the war of the five kings and the north remained independent
So many possibilities with a What If series. Like what if the Vale and the Iron Isles declared for Robb Stark. Even that alone is intriguing. What if Jon takes Stannis's offer to be come Jon Stark? There's so many interesting scenarios
Great video! How about What if Aegon the dragon had no heirs? Or no true blooded heirs? What if Visenya had died and not Rhaenys? There may be no kingsguard without her, how would that effect the future?
I have played through each of the blackfyre rebellions dozens of times, in CK2. I can't believe I'm only just finding this channel. I am in love. I adore your content, and I can't wait to continue listening through your library of uploads!
This was a lot of fun! I especially liked the one with the Brightflame rebellions, makes sense if Aurion and baby Maegor are the only legitimate Targaryens left
Fun scenario! I’d like to see other “what-ifs” centered on a smaller scale alternative outcomes as well. I think starting-with-the-end result, so to speak, isn’t as interesting. I think a reversal of every action that led to the Blackfyres defeat, for example, doesn’t hold as much water. This was very entertaining besides. Maybe explore why these changes occurred in this universe as opposed to the canon? Something instead like, “what if Haegon Blackfyre was not dishonorably slain”, and maybe speculate on how that might affect the succession or future wars leading up to the time of the books (it’d definitely change the Great Council imo).
I think Leo Longthorn must have had a pretty favourable position on the small council or something, or just wanted to retain the status quo. Even though the Stormlands is historically anti-Dornish, they didn't outright support either side at the onset of the war. I'm guessing since Jena Dondarrion was married to the crown prince, and the reality that the king (Valarr) would eventually be half-Stormlander played a part in their eventual support of Daeron. Also, seeing Baelor Breakspear riding north through the Stormlands with a considerable Dornish host likely scared them into choosing the Targaryen side.
BREAKING NEWS: In a shocking turn of events, Aenys Blackfyre has won all 7 kingdoms with 99.99% of votes, Blackfyre supporters are celebrating in the streets. Local egg enthusiast quoted as saying, "This some bullshit!"
What if Aerys Kingsguard fled with Jon across the Narrow Sea before Ned arrived and joined Viserys and Dany in exile? Makes me wonder if Varys and Illyrio can even go ahead with Young Griff with a son of Rhaegar already in play, and if they might just switch to going with Jon instead :p
@@krimzonstriker7534 I guess but jons claim would still be dubious as rhagars relationship with lyanna was not ligament in the eyes of westaros since rhagar was already married with elia so Jon would be seen as a basterd who doesn't even look targaryen so his claim would still be weaker compared to aegon who looks targaryen and claims to be the son of elia who was legally married to rhagar.
@@thatoneblackdude3333 Eh you can solve that by marrying Jon to Dany to bolster his claim, and the main thing is that Young Griff would have been hidden and unable to establish himself in people's minds as legit unlike Jon.
@@krimzonstriker7534 but would visarys agree to that marriage ? He already had a problem with rhago you think he'd be ok with the son of some northern whore who seduced his beloved brother and caused their situation in the first place( his perspective not mine ) who's legitimacy is dubious to marry his only baby sister ? , but I guess you have a point with the other kingsguards still alive and with the targaryens it would be harder for illyrio and varys to push aegon when their are people alive who can question his existence and legitimacy.
This is great. Would love to see an video on what would happen if the Children of the Forest managed to maintain a presence south of the Wall after the Andal invasion, whether in small enclaves in the south or by making use of their alliance with the First Men to maintain some territory.
I always found the First Blackfyre Rebellion to be the most interesting. The ramification of Daemon and his allies winning would've caused the most chaos and changes since the Dance of Dragons.

I loved the idea! I leave the suggestion of a "What if Robert and Rhaegar died during the Rebellion?"
Ooh that's a fun one! Depending on the circumstances could lead to either King Stannis, Viserys III or Aegon VI lmao
That's an interesting spin on the popular "What if Rhaegar Won the Battle of the Trident". Good idea!
There was another channel that did a bunch of them several years ago but they were not as cool as yours would be
Great video! This one keeps me up at night: What if Renly didn’t eat the peach?
You should do a Robert’s rebellion what if. It could be about the rebellion failing or Robert dying to Rhaegar or Jon con.
What the heck?? This is an amazing alternate scenario! Bravo!
What if Robb honored his agreement with Lord Frey. Sounds like a good idea to me.
Beautiful. What a Glorious timeline.
It's Beautiful I have been watching it for 46 minutes now
Alternate history is one of my favorite fantasy genres. I really enjoyed this video. I hope you expand the concept to a regular series featuring Westorosoi alternate history.
Obviously what if Rhaegar killed Robert on the Trident would be a highly requested topic.
Yeah, that seems to be the most popular request so far!
I love the art for these videos
Thanks!
What if Visaerys got the Dothraki to cross the Narrow sea and invaded Westeros?
Really cool idea. You can do à lot of what ifs in Asoiaf universe.
Great video concept!
Definitely keep it up :)
Late lord haven dropped another banger let's go
Really like this format of what if style videos
Could you do a video explaining the Grand Northern Conspiracy? it would be great to hear your perspective on that
These what if videos are so entertaining 😅 honestly one of the most interesting ones in the entire ASOIAF fandom's
Love to see that one eyed birb man is crucial and thus have to be killed to rebellion to succeed. Every time scene of him dieing plays (really sure that they are different between each other) I have little giggle
Bloodraven sees all from his many eyes... except for the eye he lost.
I don't know why but I love Maelys. Your videos are excellent !
Very cool video. I don't think Iv come across an alternate history of Blackfyre victories video. Please do more because there's lots in ASOIAF
Amazing video, enjoyed every second of it
Thanks, Fantasy Haven!
This was an excellent video! Loved how deeply you thought about each rebellion. Very well done. I'm all for more "What If" content!
I don't know if it would be possible considering the events of the main books aren't done yet but, i think what if Stannis won the battle of the Blackwater? could be a cool scenario
This video was very interesting! I would love to see more of them. Maybe one "what if Rhaenyra won the Dance of the Dragons".
Long Live House Blackfyre🗡
Wish I lived in these glorious universes.

This is a rly cool ideal I’d be cool to see the main timeline tacked my favorite “what if” was always what if Theon didn’t betray rob
I love how Aerys's goatee makes him look permanently surprised.
Very fun video, I always love hearing about the Blackfyers!
The what ifs are absolutely great... Awesome Video
Great stuff as always! I have a suggestion: what would happen if Ned had stayed in the North?
I wish he would have!
Cody Franklin: What is this, a crossover episode?
I love what if content. May I suggest what if the Dance of the Dragons never happened. Or if it went a different route
What If?... the dragons survived past the Dance?
Loved the vid! Definitely do more. I've always wondered what would have happened in Rob won the War of 5 kings? What is Balon and the Greyjoy's won?
Some obvious what ifs:
- robert lost
- daeron the first succeeding in dorne
- the greens winning concretely
And one i’d love to see:
- what if the lannisters sued for peace during the war of the five kings and the north remained independent
this account needs more subs bro
I agree
I like this alternate fantasy experiment a lot! Hope you do more like it!
Broooooo this is so good! You even kept George's logic in there. I salute thee
Thanks
Exquisite video lord haven watched it 3 times in a row
Time traveler: *pump against a chair.*
The timeline:
Loved it!
What if Bobby B was slain at the battle of the Bells?
Love it. An idea for a next video: What if Robb married a Frey's girl?
Challenge : what if Ned actually listen to Gared, the night watchman diserter from the first chapter and episode ?
More what if vid for sure but I want a vid that goes deeper into the Frey rebellion and the incoming Vale invasion of the Riverlands
So many possibilities with a What If series. Like what if the Vale and the Iron Isles declared for Robb Stark. Even that alone is intriguing. What if Jon takes Stannis's offer to be come Jon Stark? There's so many interesting scenarios
👀
I've come back to re-watch this video more than once. I would LOVE more what if videos!
I don't think Dragons would be brought back into the world if the Blackfyre Rebellions succeeded, but it's still an interesting What If
Great video!
Good old Bobby B
I love that’s how we collectively refer to him hahah😂
This was a lot of fun! I especially liked the one with the Brightflame rebellions, makes sense if Aurion and baby Maegor are the only legitimate Targaryens left
Did not know house haven is a stormland house.
"I am inevitable"
king bobby B, The canonical
I love that a prerequesite for a lot of this is "So Bloodraven got killed"
Kinda waiting on a what if about the dance of dragons or Maegors reign
You should definitely do more asoiaf what ifs cuz this video was really good and i would love to see what else you could do
I always found it odd that the Tyrell's didn't support Daemon Blackfyre given their relationship with Dorne. Or the Baratheons for that matter.
Gotta Love WNN, better than WOLF News. Giving us reliable news straight from Kings Landing
Aegon would still be the older brother so I doubt jons existence would hender their plans.
@@thatoneblackdude3333 But Jon would have three Kingsguard that could vouch for his authenticity as a son of Rhaegar unlike Young Griff 😉
As a lover of fanfiction and what if scenarios, I gotta say, well done and I'm looking forward to more!
What if Ageon the 4th could keep it in his pants?
*4 hour long video*
I always found the First Blackfyre Rebellion to be the most interesting. The ramification of Daemon and his allies winning would've caused the most chaos and changes since the Dance of Dragons.
Love that we end with King Bobby B anyway. Presumably he'd rule as Robert Targaryen in this scenario, though.
What if Dorne never joined the seven Kingdoms?
I've always been interested to know how history would've gone if Rhaegar kidnapped Cersei instead of Lyanna...
He couldn't kidnap her she was ether in kingslanding or casterly rock .
I find it hilariously ironic that Dorne becomes the headquarters of the Targaryen restorationists after Kingslanding is lost.
Amazing video!
