- Contrast is perhaps one of the most important considerations in a design. This video outlines a few ways to make your product designs more dimensional, dynamic, and interesting through the use of contrast. These tricks will make your designs impactful, and quite simply, better.
If you ever have trouble with a design feeling uninteresting, varying the visual weight, texture, scale, and overall contrast is a great way to fix that.

Love your sketching style as well other than the critique. What equipment do you use?
Hey Advait, thank you! For these videos I use an iPad Pro. The program I use is Procreate. Normally I just sketch by hand, but it's easier to record screen-captured video on the ipad and place them into these videos.
I have 2 suggestions for videos.
1) Material selection
2) balance in design
I like material selection. One quick question about balance: When you say balance in design, do you mean proportional balance? Or something else? I sort of touched on proportional balance on my last video in this series (the one about proportion and hierarchy).
Nice video, the background track was annoying.
I need it for the funk.
