Sly Creek Kokanee and Trout Fishing

We had an action packed day of fishing at Sly Creek Reservoir, it is an emerald-hued 562 surface-acre lake, resting among the pines at the 3,500-foot elevation. Tucked away in the east­ern cor­ner of Butte Coun­ty California.
We caught dozens of Rainbow Trout, a handful of next years Kokanee and we found a mass of spawning Kokanee up the Creek inlet. Too much fun!
