Jordan, I can’t thank you enough man. I’ve caught 7 big old rainbows this year in the stocked ponds and creeks in Maryland, most of those with my kids. They’re learning along with me. It’s been a blast man. Tight lines 🤙🏻
I Just bought some fishing tackle last night at Bi-Mart to send a birthday package to my nephew. I got powerbait & terminal tackle for plunking carolina rig, along with Kastmasters & Vibric Rooster Tails. Then this video showed up in my UA-cam feed. So I shared the video link with my brother so he can watch it with my nephew once he receives the Bday package. Universe is certainly serendipitous sometimes! I like to add a Lil' Corky float to the leader of powerbait plunking rig to ensure it floats the bait off the bottom in case you don't put on enough dough or some of it comes off hook from casting, fish nibbling, etc.
Jordan, was great to meet you at the gas station yesterday, hope your afternoon was fruitful! This guy's energy is as real in person as on these videos.
Top water, bobber with floating baits, just outside of small coves. Spinners/Rooster Tails, at random open water locations. Air inflated nightcrawlers or powerbait, slide sinker rig, if you know the bottom water locations where the fish can be found. That's my go.
I have not used power bait in over twenty years but when I did it was for keeper trout so we used little tiny treble hooks and dipped it in water before tossing it unless I was using the eggs. Now I just use cutbait for much bigger catfish and corn with anise for carp
Part II 😁 Ment to mention the other good thing about the castmaster for being heavy the swim high compared to the cleo so you can retrieve slower. Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
Carolina rig for the win...good for when your paying more attention to the bbq than your pole. For some reason this year power eggs are getting them but not power bait. Also I need the addicted eggs to float!
Great info, thank you! I could use some tips on fly fishing from a kayak. How do you manage your line without getting wrapped around something? Thanks!
Finally got me some advantage bead hooks an I can clearly see how much more effective they will be with a bead. Thank you guys. Any thoughts about using these hooks in trout lures I almost thought I could use them to replace treble hooks just put it on a split ring.
I used to fish a lot when I was younger but I stopped for years . Now I’m getting back into it and used this guys tips and set up and I killed em yesterday 😂💯 caught and released about 11-12 nice rainbows
So something I am trying out this year when the fish get done spawning is attaching two small spoons together lengthwise and putting a hook on the end. It looks like a small snake going through the water so far.
The biggest tip when lake fishing for trout is use power bait in about 10 different colors🙌 I go fishing a couple times a year and ALWAYS catch fish by using light gear and bringing power bait and keep trying different colors until I find the color they like that DAY. The next day could totally be something different color which has happened many times but I just go back until I find the color for that day!
Thanks for the heads up bro. i haven't fished since I was 10 (37 now) and will def check that place out. Had family from Coos bay, so it will be cool to be back down in that area
Hey i find it kinda difficult to see your line / hook when you cast. It'd be really cool to see how far out you're casting, maybe you could edit the video making your cast's visable to us on youtube. Just a suggestion. But Thank you for the tips either way!
I've caught a rainbow on almost every technique you've ever showed in your trout tutorials, but have never caught one on a kastmaster. No idea what I'm doing wrong.
But what if there are no trout in any lakes I fish in LOL good video from when I used to fish in Colorado. I used to fish with egg weights then the lure usually power bait. Most people I fished with out there had the weight at the bottom and the hooks above the weight
How is he using a 10lb braid and a 10lb leader? Yet he says I’m gonna attach it a the lighter line…huh 😂 bro I’m new don’t confuse me also no way would I attach a 3/8 weight to a damn ultra light. The fuck? Those okumas over exaggerate what they can handle

Best fishing videos on UA-cam hands down no matter what. 🤙🏻
Jordan is the best guide we have right now! what a legend
Jordan bit his line and said sorry mom 🤣 reminds me of myself....my mom always told me not to do that when I was younger 😂

Stumbled upon this channel and now I am fishing again. Bravo!
Trout fishing isn't my thing but I'm willing to watch any addicted video
& we appreciate that so much!!
That’s wild, as a beginner all I’m looking at is for trout 😂😂😂
Jordan you are the best at tutorials brother
Jordan, was great to meet you at the gas station yesterday, hope your afternoon was fruitful!
This guy's energy is as real in person as on these videos.
Trout fishing can be tons of fun. Love spring trout fishing bite. Can find some big ones too, thanks for the video
Thanks for the lessons! Learning alot from you guys, much appreciated!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching.
When I’m bottom fishing for trout I like a 9 to 10 foot light rod I recommend the 10 foot six convergence

The inly channel I've found that is streight to the point and explains perfect with no rambling on great videos!

Sick video I can’t wait to hit the lake tomorrow!
HAAA! A happier SPINer to the phrase Get Bent! That's some pretty color meat for a lake bow 🌈 Great Job Jordan! Peace 🕊️☮️
Kastmasters are so fun. Favorite lure ever.
I've caught so many different types of fish on them.
Really appreciate the pro guidance! 👍
Part II 😁 Ment to mention the other good thing about the castmaster for being heavy the swim high compared to the cleo so you can retrieve slower. Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
Nice video - thank you! We set up our lines very similar when using power bait/similar types of "dough" baits. Really enjoyed watching.
Love the tips as always Jordan! 🤙🏼🎣
👊
Hey Victoria 👋 Jordan ways has good tips on every species he fishes for👍ADX rocks 🤘
Love Jordan’s tutorials!
been catching lots of rainbow trout here in mirror lake,ak they are hungry for shrimp thank you for the tips it has helped
After you squeeze on your dough, put it in the water and make sure it floats. Trout don't eat salad, your bait CANT SIT ON BOTTOM, I must float.
Carolina rig for the win...good for when your paying more attention to the bbq than your pole. For some reason this year power eggs are getting them but not power bait. Also I need the addicted eggs to float!
Floating Addicted eggs, hmmmm 🤔
Nice vid Jordan.

Wow that trout cut really well.
Finally got me some advantage bead hooks an I can clearly see how much more effective they will be with a bead. Thank you guys. Any thoughts about using these hooks in trout lures I almost thought I could use them to replace treble hooks just put it on a split ring.
Yep! Were working on an open eye one for trout lures
@@AddictedFishing thank you guys

I like your dog looks almost exactly like my heeler
Nice video! How are you calculating depth when you're trolling?
I typically troll with weight and there are charts that show depth based on speed and how much line you have out.

jordan…you’ve taught me so much i’ve literally screamed your name on an other man’s boat 😂
Bro, come to my home lake, in Douglas County Oregon, it's small but we catch 14-16" all day with the occasional 5-7 lb rainbows
Thanks for the heads up bro. i haven't fished since I was 10 (37 now) and will def check that place out. Had family from Coos bay, so it will be cool to be back down in that area
HeyJordan , your videos are great , can you show a diagram when you do a specific set up ? Would help with a visual , thanks !
Was just at that lake yesterday lol. Nothing on spinners but power bait was on fire .
Powerbait always seems to get em!
What lake is it? I recognize it but can't pinpoint
Man I’m after that trout lol I want that fish taco 😂😂
Thought I would ask if Okuma makes a BFS rod, I want to have a baitcaster setup with my regular ultralight spinning combos. Just want options.
Berkley makes a baitcaster lightning rod 8ft 2-6lb line rated rod for under $50
My lab loves to fish with me as well. Though sometimes it’s impossible to keep him out of the water 😂
Once I’m done at a hole I send him in to swim
Question as a beginner: how long do you wait after casting and setting down the rod before you decide to reel in and re cast?
At least 25 mins is a good time for me personally.
dope hat!
What brand and kind of pliers were you using at the beginning of the video?
please restock blush pink windbreaker in medium 🙏🏻
Hey i find it kinda difficult to see your line / hook when you cast.

Any plans on orange braided line being restocked? 🙏🏻😎
I've caught a rainbow on almost every technique you've ever showed in your trout tutorials, but have never caught one on a kastmaster. No idea what I'm doing wrong.
i really like your vest. where can i buy one?
What brand is your life vest ??
But what if there are no trout in any lakes I fish in LOL good video from when I used to fish in Colorado.
I used to fish with egg weights then the lure usually power bait. Most people I fished with out there had the weight at the bottom and the hooks above the weight
dont you find line twist when using a split shot?
What kind of rods do you use ?...only light/ultralight ?
Light and ultra light are great for smaller fish. Trout don't hit very hard so this lighter the rod, the more you'll feel the bite
How well does twitching jigs work for trout in lakes / ponds
It certain lakes it works really good!
Was that Mount Rainier?
I have used a dodger/flasher when I went out trolling for trout. I noticed you don't use them. Is that a personal preference or not?
That scene in the fast and furious where he says only poo c’s use nitro meth well that about power bait 😂
Could you just do an extra long leader with a uni-knot instead of the barrel into your leader?
Love the vid. That is not a trophy rainbow
Unfortunately i have a hard tip and long shaft😅
You don’t bleed the fish ? Does it matter ?
I catch trout all day on Walmart gear bud it doesn’t matter
😍😍😍
10:11 😂
What are the pants you are wearing??
Who cant catch trout in the spring tho lmao.. throw a shoelace and pop tap and you good lmao
Don’t forget to cut off your tag ends. Good video little barks because little is a dog and he wants to lick your fish
Fish 1, wow thats sooo small
I did that !! I ain’t catch shiiii !! 😅
Those trout at picky little ba…..s!!! lol
Lots of info. He must be close to the record for the most words per minute.😂
😂😂 we will check with Guinness
You are showing something that has been around and used for years. Probably before you were even born
That’s the problem with these little Ba…
Zero reason to gut it if you are cleaning it that way
Jordan, who is your target audience? What are you on?
Salmon, trout, & steelhead anglers mostly, but really anyone who likes to fish!
how aboutetting people where you fish! what you afraid of
tElL pEoPlE wHeRe YoU fIsH!!!!
That's you....that's what you sound like.
Talking, too much. No fish.
