I still have my first pair of tensor that had a red baseplate and a gold plastic slide piece. I don’t skate tensor anymore (I skate indys) but tensor shaped me and I will always remember those trucks!

In my opinion, I was more stoked on his kickflip bs noseblunt down the Clipper than Nyjah’s cab bs noseblunt. Nyjah’s was jaw-dropping, yes. But Ryan’s style and even watching his interview made it more real, if that makes sense. That and I’ve fangirled his clips back in Wonderful Horrible Life lol

@@otoolex we come from the same era, man. I especially hate the forced “steezy” style nowadays. I appreciate the raw style, the sketchy landings that they fight to hold on to. Ryan was part of that era and it shows regarding his passion, but his style is more on the smooth side, the pop, the flicks, the slides. It’s not robotic like Nyjah’s, where it’s too smooth that it looks fake. Today’s era, I’m a fan of Chris Joslin. The dude just full fuckin sends and usually blindside tricks

i skated tensors for most of my time skating (about 9 years) then switched to indys within the last year but my homie still rides tensors and i frequently grab his board and skate around on that just to feel the tensors again lol

All of them... I use 1/8 mini logo shock pads (by shock pads Im meaning they are softer rubber vs the hard plastic risers) I trim them down so theres no rubber over hanging the baseplate which can cause friction with nose slides and such
