I blow out bushings all the time and they absolutely make your trucks feel like boo boo. Bones medium bushings are a game changer.
Orange Indys 4 life . game jam
Bones bushings blow out super fast. Stock Indy last a lot longer and only take like a week to break in.
The way skaters talk about injuries.
"I did x and now whenever I y it feels like z."
Skaters just willing to have their bodies never be the same again lmao.
Damnn 😂💀💀
Vince is so unique. Awesome Dude
Just getting back to skating after a 10 yr hiatus I met Vincent at a Elwood demo as a kid got an autograph its nice to see homie still ripping. Respect
The US is a weird place. A tape measure without metric measurements included. Painful
2 weeks is a longtime for pros and ams
I do that with bushings. Used to have kingpin bolts fly off all the time skating, but now I skate indy highs loosely goosey but buy the indy low truck soft bushings. Bottom brushing is the same, top one is lower. Problem solved 👍🏼👍🏼
Vincent always been a mad rippa! Hell yeah
favorite skater
Krux is the only company that makes it easy to understand what size trucks you want. That being said, just look up a size chart, every company has a chart with their trucks sizes and what boards it fits.
For real... Also, these dudes been skating collectively for like 4 decades, why is this a struggle? lol.
“Roger would know! Roger!”
*crickets* This broke my god damn heart.
Totally right bro... They musta put that design in after seeing a shredded wheel so cool to think that lol
Dude, I used to rub my truck bushings on my grip tape to get them smaller, it works.
I felt like doh dohs were low profile bushings. like when i used them to replace thunders and ventures, the top bushing of doh dohs were too small and you had to tighten it more.
5.5(5.0, 5.25...) is the hanger measurement in inches, not axle length. Venture and Royal size the trucks as such. Indy and Thunder use hanger width in mm.
Tensor is also inches
It's always the width of the hanger, you're right 👍😊
Thunder 157mm all day!
Chris, I had good high pop too....till I hit my 40's! 😂😂😂😊
Thread sealant is good for keeping nuts tight on loose trucks etc
Multiply millimeters by .0397 to get inches via thousandths.
I forget who it was now but someone on the 9club possibly Neen Williams was saying theyve stocked up on low bushing... I expected it to get brought up during the bushing talk. Who ever it was, was saying they ride the regular trucks with low bushings so there looser... I believe it was a Indy rider and they said one day well touring the factory or visiting the NHS warehouse they found a bin full of unused low bushing and took home a stockpile of them.
Trucks are the redesigned Royal, so they are 144 for 8,25 board.
So they use the indy size term.
I skate my bearings till the shields pop off to. Damn that’s sick One love skateboarding
Wouldn't the 5.5 be inches and it's the width of the hanger not including the axle?
Two top bushings
9club needs tiago!
7/8 is 0.83--you are correct, Kelly.
10:34 shorty's doh doh's
5.5 is the size hanger in inches
Alvarez, PRO SKATER, being like: I don't know the size, I don't really care... Boys and Girls, that RIGHT THERE is PUNK ROCK!
Hella Hesh huh
Saw this dude at demo in San Jose. His board was so fucked up and sounded soggy. Crazy
Wow , the math ! Proving not all gifts are provided to professional skateboarders,,,/&: I’m dumb as f@ck ✌🏻
My cousin slices his bushings in half so he can keep them ultra loose
Jordan Trahan is who is talking about
Rethreading stresses me out for sure
Venture 5.6 are the 8.25 trucks which is so confusing because 5.5 royals are 8.5
ask durometer
At first i was stoked for a 20 minute video, but if you remove the time they spent doing math its more like 5 minutes.
The struggle was real.
Hes sponsored..he can have a new deck every week lol...😂😂
I have a question do you have to rotate your wheels so they could get messed up on both sides
Swap them to opposite corners. Fronts to the back and vice versa when they're getting coned 👍
.....but don't turn the wheel around. Take it off and move it to the opposite corners as it is in your hand. This way they'll even out again 😊
Yep, back wheel toe side gets smallest first from powerslides, take em off and switch ends and sides, set of wheels lasts way longer. If I didn't suck and got free stuff I wouldn't have that problem 😂
1.875
Dear 9 club members....Bearing shields off or on??
If you want them to last long time then i think you should keep the shields on. I remember also about this topic they spoke about in one of other nineclub programs where rage mention about keeping shields on. Even tho some skaters like how sound is when shields is off.
Dude... I was just asking my buddy about this... I've never heard of this argument until recently and I really don't understand what difference it makes.
@@queenhenryviii Shields off = dirt allowed in. Bearings performance = worse.
Why the fuck do we not use metric system in usa ?
It hurts my soul hearing pros being completely unaware of their set up, how is it even possible to not know what truck size you ride ?😂 anyways he is a damn good skater! You the best Vincent !
Y’all need to step your math game up. To convert 1 and 7/8 inches to millimeters do on your calculator 7 divided by 8 equals 0.875 and then add the whole 1 to it gives you 1.875 inches in decimal and then go over to google to get inch to millimeter equals 25.4 millimeters per inch, now just do 25.4 times 1.875 to get you 47.625 millimeters. Your welcome
Or easier.....have a tape measure with mm on it and read the measurement 😄😊
