Queens should be able to burrow, then turn into a nuke that gets triggered whenever the opponent looks at the screen. I don't think it would be too overpowered.

So, final game, Solar tapping out He had been on 65 drones for quite a while, and 65 drones is not a lot of drones. Having that much army supply and not winning, without a decent bank to replace it, is quite nasty. Maru had then just had a lot of workers killed, but Solar knew that maru would have several orbitals, likely a decent bank, plus the ghosts were on the field. So Solar wasn't going to be putting Maru in a position of "i have no economy i just have to hope i can produce enough stuff to survive the next attack" and able to rely on zerg just having growth potential to win the game. He was putting maru in a position of "i can build a bigger army than i had before, lets do that and then try kill Solar in a little bit", which, well, Maru with ghosts can very much kill Solar. Did he tap out a bit early? Could he have retreated and attacked again before Maru was ready? Could he have won the game?
All terrans really gotta do is just use widow mines to walk with and protect the mass rines. Also keeps the damn tanks from doing friendly fire. And besides that having a small variety to your unit comp works wonders.
Feel like solar tapped out far too quickly on the 1st and last game. He had a decent sized army and relatively equal economy in both cases. I get it can feel oppressive and frustrating to be on that receiving end but still to totally playable games.
Solar is just barely not good enough to counter Maru's pressure. It's the difference between Serral, who manages to pretty much sweep Maru, and Solar, who gets worn down by him.

Great casts. However, I'm missing the custom skins of players. I would live without the stats bar, as rarely I'm looking at it, but would love to see back some variety with the visuals.
Honestly the widow mine needs to be nerfed. The worst unit to play against by far, and the risk vs reward is a joke. Needs to be double the minerals and maybe even triple the gas cost of what it is now. Maybe even making it 3 supply. I seriously think it needs to be gutted
Widow mines are ridiculous. Astonishing they've gone by this whole time without nerfs. Annoying to even watch. They should cost 1 more supply and have at least .5-1 less range than the average ranged unit so you can shoot them with vision. They cost nothing, are invisible, do back to back aoe explosions, can be made two at a time, and cant be fought 1v1 with the average range unit even with site you just have to sacrifice something first to fight it so it requires a bunch of apm to even defuse. Just dumb all round and thoroughly abused in lower leagues. Cant even A-move fight them WITH vision with standard army comps because they have same range as rine or roach. Take some range off, it wont effect mine drops in mineral lines but they wont be so apm intensive to fight.
They do have less range than the average range unit though? Its like roaches that have less range than them. And it's entirely static, so you can just go around them if you have vision. Or if you have a significant unit count and vision you can just A move them, they'll die before they can fire, it's very easy. Anyway, they were nerfed in the last patch, so you are just wrong.

Make them have less range than rines, roaches, muta etc. so they are a MINE not a superior ranged unit with MORE range. It wouldn't effect the mine drop just the apm requirement to diffuse. You already need vision to kill them, and they currently outrange the first ranged unit of both terran and zerg race. and btw, the new patch "Drilling Claws now also makes the Widow Mine unburrow twice as fast" buffs mines....

Are banelings IMBA? Fuck no, aside from sudden splash damage being generally bad design in an RTS which is already a fast paced and volatile environment without it (yes that applies to mines, both widow and spider) But what if they did reduce range to below that of a mutalisk: oh yeah, mines become fucking worthless. They aren't designed to just be a tool for dropping mineral lines, nor should they be, despite what you seem to think. Anyway, build marauders or hydras, they are a tier above mariens and roaches, just like mines are a tier above marines, or play protoss.
Mines are also friendly fire and they do not deal nearly as much damage unless you manually retarget them. which Maru was doing i believe. as much as I hate to admit this, games was quite close and Maru was simply outplaying Solar in every aspect. Did you see Serral vs Maru records? it's like 12-3 in favor of Serral. I guess that's why guys like serral and dark prefer to open into 1-1 roach and then switch to ling bane.
for the record. as an ex zerg i would much prefer to have borrowed baneling, which DOES deal friendly fire, but jumps underground, does 150 dmg to ground and air units, in like 5 radius, and does not die in the process. plus hold fire and manual retargeting ability. But not until Serral alive. ) Not gonna happen. The guy just ignores balance limitations.

These Kr vs Kr games are so much better in quality compared to these 180ms shitshows of online tournaments. No foreign player would win any major tournament, maybe with the exception of Serral, if they played them all on LAN. Korean micro gets gimped hard due to high ping. It's also why Serral only lost to Clem.
I know this is bait But The only non team league premiers KR has been winning this year is the GSL. Gamers8 and Katowice were both won by foreigners. Kr isn't dominant at the highest level bud :)

Blizzard have to block the Battle Cruiser for 5 seconds from using the Yamato Cannon and Tactical Jump

Honestly the widow mine needs to be nerfed. The worst unit to play against by far, and the risk vs reward is a joke. Needs to be double the minerals and maybe even triple the gas cost of what it is now. Maybe even making it 3 supply. I seriously think it needs to be gutted

Widow mines are ridiculous. Astonishing they've gone by this whole time without nerfs. Annoying to even watch. They should cost 1 more supply and have at least .5-1 less range than the average ranged unit so you can shoot them with vision. They cost nothing, are invisible, do back to back aoe explosions, can be made two at a time, and cant be fought 1v1 with the average range unit even with site you just have to sacrifice something first to fight it so it requires a bunch of apm to even defuse. Just dumb all round and thoroughly abused in lower leagues. Cant even A-move fight them WITH vision with standard army comps because they have same range as rine or roach. Take some range off, it wont effect mine drops in mineral lines but they wont be so apm intensive to fight.
They do have less range than the average range unit though? Its like roaches that have less range than them. And it's entirely static, so you can just go around them if you have vision. Or if you have a significant unit count and vision you can just A move them, they'll die before they can fire, it's very easy.
Anyway, they were nerfed in the last patch, so you are just wrong.

Make them have less range than rines, roaches, muta etc. so they are a MINE not a superior ranged unit with MORE range. It wouldn't effect the mine drop just the apm requirement to diffuse. You already need vision to kill them, and they currently outrange the first ranged unit of both terran and zerg race. and btw, the new patch "Drilling Claws now also makes the Widow Mine unburrow twice as fast" buffs mines....

First, go the fuck around, thats maybe 2 APM.
Second, have you see banelings? Build however fucking many you like at a time, cost less than mines, and require both a ton of APM and mouse accuracy to even attempt to counter, whilst not being static so you don't have infinite time to do whatever the fuck you want to de with them. Are banelings IMBA? Fuck no, aside from sudden splash damage being generally bad design in an RTS which is already a fast paced and volatile environment without it (yes that applies to mines, both widow and spider)
But what if they did reduce range to below that of a mutalisk: oh yeah, mines become fucking worthless. They aren't designed to just be a tool for dropping mineral lines, nor should they be, despite what you seem to think.
Anyway, i said the last patch, not the current proposed patch, and if you weren't a cunt you'd have read the message next to that change saying "this is because the nerf from last patch made mine micro worse", but fucking are one.
Anyway, build marauders or hydras, they are a tier above mariens and roaches, just like mines are a tier above marines, or play protoss.
Mines are also friendly fire and they do not deal nearly as much damage unless you manually retarget them. which Maru was doing i believe. as much as I hate to admit this, games was quite close and Maru was simply outplaying Solar in every aspect. Did you see Serral vs Maru records? it's like 12-3 in favor of Serral. I guess that's why guys like serral and dark prefer to open into 1-1 roach and then switch to ling bane.
for the record. as an ex zerg i would much prefer to have borrowed baneling, which DOES deal friendly fire, but jumps underground, does 150 dmg to ground and air units, in like 5 radius, and does not die in the process. plus hold fire and manual retargeting ability. But not until Serral alive. ) Not gonna happen. The guy just ignores balance limitations.

These Kr vs Kr games are so much better in quality compared to these 180ms shitshows of online tournaments. No foreign player would win any major tournament, maybe with the exception of Serral, if they played them all on LAN. Korean micro gets gimped hard due to high ping. It's also why Serral only lost to Clem.
