A few thoughts about "Ignore All Alien Orders." First, my understanding is that in 1973 there were matchbooks used to promote Wake of the Flood, and the matchbook included "Ignore All Alien Orders." I also have heard the phrase was included on the back of Mars Hotel? Maybe it is being used here to avoid the counterfeit issues? Anyway, when I first saw it mentioned, Peter Rowan's "Pulling the Devil by the Tail" popped into my head, because that is a lyric in that song -- though no way that is the reference here but thought I would share.

It looks like it is really happening! Not only is it real, but Barnes and Noble has an exclusive blue version, if that's your thing.

Personally, I've gone for the cd versions for the 50th anniversary releases because I already have their complete discography on vinyl and there's bonus live material on them as well. May go for the Blues For Allah 50th when it rolls around because my copy is on the thinnest vinyl record I think I've ever seen.
Funny story about Blues For Allah … Last week I came across a US test pressing in a Japanese record store but it was going for about $300. Sadly, I had to pass. That being said, I am very much looking forward to both Mars Hotel and Blues For Allah 50th anniversary editions.
Music still is wonderful. The sound-Still sounds muddy and muddled. To me. Trust ones own ears. Still
have not heard a single re release that was as good as a first pressing. To each their own sound waves. Best sounding vinyl I ever heard is -first press vinyl of Live Dead. I guess I got spoiled 🎉❤❤. Nice upload. Keep the groove alive. ✌️
