Just tripped on your channel and subbed...btw I'm Paul...didn't know about this release..how cool. Now on my neverending want list.Thanx for sharing and take care
Curious about your thoughts on whether the Arista remasters means we won't be getting 50th anniversary packages for them? I remember somewhere Bob Weir saying they may have to accelerate those releases so they don't go too far out. Wonder if this is related to that statement.
Take this with a grain of salt because I have no insider information, but I suspect we'll still get 50th anniversary versions because they typically remaster / remix so that there is a "new" component to those releases. I don't think the Arista reissues have been touched up in anyway. They're new pressings of the same versions that have previously been available.
Thanks this is helpful! The "newly mastered" hype sticker on Built to Last is what made me wonder. As someone who loves getting the 50th anniversary sets, I always overthink whether to get any of these other remasters or even the originals. I saw a G rated Terrapin Station at a record expo for $50 last week and held off given the remaster is coming, but then the 50th is in three years. I suspect I'll get both! Big fan of your channel by the way and thank you so much for the response!
Just bought one! Thanks for the awesome video as always!

Wasn't aware of this Jerry Garcia release. Looks great though I'll have to pick it up. Great artwork as well!
