I know I'm showing up late here, but begadi also do SHP buckings which are meant for HPA nozzles, check them out. Using an SHP5 with my F2 and getting nuts accuracy.
Have you tested the 4uad friction pro bucking? Tried the Begadi shp5 on my hpa set up but I get crazy fps stability with my friction pro bucking
I have not tried out the 4uad or TruHop buckings as of yet. Currently, been busy 3D printing some custom housings to test nozzle lengths. Curious if best for nozzle to push the bb all the way to the mound, or aim for barely long enough to seal the bucking lips.
Tried that today with the max model, adding and removing shims, seems to be that if the nozzle enters too much, it gives fps inaccuracy… currently using 3 0.1mm shims
So far, the biggest improvement we saw was with Silent Alpha and Wolverine Phoenix hopups that slow down the bb entering the bucking (similar idea to Madbull Red bucking design). However, Fish's Kythera is folding in the bucking lips and jamming the bb rather frequently, so focusing on diagnosing that to get him back on the field.
@ have heard pretty good things about the alpha hop ups, what fps deviation where you getting. Currently debating if I should try that one or a M4G with gbb bucking..
With a wolverine Inferno Gen 2, fps is rock solid. I guess my other tip is to run as heavy of a bb as possible. The harder the mound can pinch the bb, the better consistency.
29:56 Nice shot!
Actually, that one overhopped and didn't go through the window. Downside of adjusting the hop for 100-150ft.
I'm glad I've never gotten into sniping
It hurts the most when sniping was your first love of airsoft, so you really want to make it work. But, damn does everything make it difficult lol...
Have you ever tested the Fly5/7 bucking in comparison?
I tested their SHP5 bucking last weekend with both my aeg DMR and the HPA DMR, but no footage. The aeg saw great success, but the HPA didn't. Difference was a 6.03 Prommy barrel and 70 degree SHP5 in the aeg vs 6.01 PDI barrel and 60 degree SHP5 in the hpa. Hoping to try a 6.08 Lambda barrel with an 80 degree, silicone MR Hop in the HPA this weekend or the next. Looking to have a Begadi Neptun hopup chamber, SHP7 70 degree, and EDGI 6.01 EVO barrel in the DMR by next spring since barrel was a custom order due to length.
What ball weight are you using for the replicas?
I'm thinking about renewing the hop up rubber for my L96. Which one do you recommend for begadi? I had thought about using an omega type nub
I think that softer rubbers at high powers, 2.82 joules, perform better but degrade faster. It's a price I'm willing to pay. I currently use madbull blue, it is a very hard rubber, with bb 043. GREETINGS FROM SPAIN.
I regularly use .40g in my DMR's, .46g in the L96, and .32g in regular m4 builds. 315fps with any weight seems to be a sweet spot. After doing a lot of testing that wasn't uploaded to youtube, I would recommend their SHP7 bucking paired with an inner barrel with extended hopup window. I'm about to upload a video from my new DMR build that uses a combo of .40g bb's, 70 degree SHP7, Begadi Neptun, and EDGi EVO 395mm inner barrel that was stellar for first time out.
