    Have you tested the 4uad friction pro bucking? Tried the Begadi shp5 on my hpa set up but I get crazy fps stability with my friction pro bucking

    • @Karrottop009
      @Karrottop009 3 дні тому

      I have not tried out the 4uad or TruHop buckings as of yet. Currently, been busy 3D printing some custom housings to test nozzle lengths. Curious if best for nozzle to push the bb all the way to the mound, or aim for barely long enough to seal the bucking lips.

    • @danielarturodebernardogome832
      @danielarturodebernardogome832 3 дні тому

      Tried that today with the max model, adding and removing shims, seems to be that if the nozzle enters too much, it gives fps inaccuracy… currently using 3 0.1mm shims

    • @Karrottop009
      @Karrottop009 3 дні тому

      So far, the biggest improvement we saw was with Silent Alpha and Wolverine Phoenix hopups that slow down the bb entering the bucking (similar idea to Madbull Red bucking design). However, Fish's Kythera is folding in the bucking lips and jamming the bb rather frequently, so focusing on diagnosing that to get him back on the field.

      @danielarturodebernardogome832 3 дні тому

      @ have heard pretty good things about the alpha hop ups, what fps deviation where you getting. Currently debating if I should try that one or a M4G with gbb bucking..

    • @Karrottop009
      @Karrottop009 3 дні тому

      With a wolverine Inferno Gen 2, fps is rock solid. I guess my other tip is to run as heavy of a bb as possible. The harder the mound can pinch the bb, the better consistency.

      @seb0966 I plan to try .46g at 1.85J with the SR25 at the next Bing Field event I can attend. I used to avoid since the field required .46g are a dark gray, hard to track, but seems my SHP7 requires the super heavies.

    Spanked the Subi, but the Subie was pulling harder at the end. Between 1/8-mile to 1/4-mile the Subi picked up just over 25 MPH while the SS picked up just under 25 MPH. This must be due to the turbo on the Subi.

    Interesting, I have had problems getting the TNT hop rubbers work in my kythera setup, this could actually help, I would love to get the TNT hop rubber working in my hpa kythera setup since it is imo the best rubber for accuracy and range, at least it has been on my AEG builds. So you have to use these rings with this hop up chamber or can you use with like a Maxx hop up for instance?

    • @Karrottop009
      @Karrottop009 2 місяці тому

      These rings are chamber specific. Even if they fit in another chamber, the ring would push the inner barrel forward. Lock clip would not work and would need a super long nozzle. Don't have any footage, but had decent success with Reaps 80 degree bucking in the Kythera with Silent Alpha. Not crazy range, but consistent at least. My Cyma SR25 with the SI Alpha and Begadi SHP7 doing well though.

    • @scandimanairsoft
      @scandimanairsoft 2 місяці тому

      @@Karrottop009 Interesting, Well what I really want to get working as you might understand is the TNT hop rubber in my kythera build, the rubber lips are "straight" so they dont fit well with the polarstar nozzles, it even leaks air after a few shots, I figured if I can just tighten up the lips and get it to seat the BBs right it would probalbly make for the best setup.

    • @Karrottop009
      @Karrottop009 2 місяці тому

      @@scandimanairsoft Well, science never hurts. Don't like it, then you try the next thing lol. For me, this has been the only method to solve the wild innaccuracy of the kythera. Can say that going too tight of a ring has also caused bucking lips to fold into the inner barrel, especially the madbull red apparently.

    • @scandimanairsoft
      @scandimanairsoft 2 місяці тому

      @@Karrottop009 I acctually have ok accuracy on the kythera with ML MR hop, 50 or 60 degrees, at least in the 1 to the 1.7 joule range. It is when I rock it as DMR up at 2.2 ish joules that I see the flyers, I do think the TNT rubbers would fix it though, I will keep looking for a soution or perhaps ill just get the SI hop unit and try these rings.

    • @Karrottop009
      @Karrottop009 2 місяці тому

      Hmm, for me, 1.5J was unplayable with ML, Begadi, Madbull, or Prometheus. Going 1.85J allowed me to lob .40's at least. I also had to use the PTS EPM 250rd's for their super stiff spring to slow down the nozzle. So, what causes midcap syndrome in aeg's is actually helpful for Kythera's super strong nozzle. I also tried a tighter metering screw to slow down the Kythera, but one size change caused double feeding...

While I could trim my tappet spring, that was rather annoying in the DSG build. Just going to use the MEC tappet springs endorsed by PTS.

    What ball weight are you using for the replicas? I'm thinking about renewing the hop up rubber for my L96. Which one do you recommend for begadi? I had thought about using an omega type nub I think that softer rubbers at high powers, 2.82 joules, perform better but degrade faster. It's a price I'm willing to pay. I currently use madbull blue, it is a very hard rubber, with bb 043. GREETINGS FROM SPAIN.

      I regularly use .40g in my DMR's, .46g in the L96, and .32g in regular m4 builds. 315fps with any weight seems to be a sweet spot. After doing a lot of testing that wasn't uploaded to youtube, I would recommend their SHP7 bucking paired with an inner barrel with extended hopup window. I'm about to upload a video from my new DMR build that uses a combo of .40g bb's, 70 degree SHP7, Begadi Neptun, and EDGi EVO 395mm inner barrel that was stellar for first time out.

      I tested their SHP5 bucking last weekend with both my aeg DMR and the HPA DMR, but no footage. The aeg saw great success, but the HPA didn't. Difference was a 6.03 Prommy barrel and 70 degree SHP5 in the aeg vs 6.01 PDI barrel and 60 degree SHP5 in the hpa. Hoping to try a 6.08 Lambda barrel with an 80 degree, silicone MR Hop in the HPA this weekend or the next. Looking to have a Begadi Neptun hopup chamber, SHP7 70 degree, and EDGI 6.01 EVO barrel in the DMR by next spring since barrel was a custom order due to length.

    12.8@112... That speed you can pull low 12s easy. Good to see some track runs on UA-cam. Most people just do videos of driving like a$$holes in traffic or videos with burnouts and revving. Car belongs on the track....not doing 0-100 in 30mph neighborhoods.
