Ive been cutting my hair since I was 18 (now 32) and I have experimented with the styles alot ! I had what is now called short wolf cut back at 2014 by picking up chunks of hair and stratigically cutting the layers to frame my face. The rare times I had to go to the hairdressers I hated what they did and always had to fix the cut by myself at home.

Same! Before I started cutting my own hair many many years ago I'd immediately go home and fix what the stylist did, too. It's not that they did a bad cut it's just that I know my hair better than they do and I know what my hair will and won't do...and what I am and am not willing to do. And it seemed like I could tell them about my hair until I was blue in the face and I'd still get a cut that would look great on someone else but was awkward on me.

Microbangs are one of the top hairstyles imo. They're so cute and badass at the same time. I think it makes everyone look like punk dolls. It's odd that generally people don't see them as pretty, but they frame your face so nicely. I used to have them too, but then I guess I didn't have the motivation to ever style them (I have a cowlick too). Plus honestly, I thought I looked great, but people kept nagging me to grow them out so I'd be ✨pretty✨ again. It just got old. Not very independent minded of me lol.
They sure come with a bit of work to have 🙃 when you have a cowlick as well, but it’s so worth it!

Hi love, I cut my hair myself, unless is super short because the back is complicated to see well. About bangs I preffer to do it while the hair is wet and perffect it in dry hair. Just easy for me. Keep in mind wet hair (anyone who may read and try it) wet gets shorter when it dries so make sure not to go extremely short, you can shorten it after it's dry. And don't pull on it down because it will bounce back.

Its just a statement and its disappointing when people dislike it based on the attractiveness of the individual. its an awesome look and you rock the fuck out of this look. I prefer the long bangs with your face, but I dont mind whatever you do :D I think it suits you very well to experiment with style and colour. I wish I could but I would go bald. I got a balayage once and I loved it, but my hair died in the process and it took me years and years to get long healthy hair again. I have to try this method of cutting hair and layers but I am so afraid honestly. I tried a little a few weeks ago and then went to see the hair dresser. She showed me the pieces of different lengths and I thought nope not doing this again .
I don't really like micro bangs neither, but I did have the V shape not so micro bangs, and I loved them, but I sweat a lot and my hair is naturally curly so that didn't last too long. I think Evelina might look pretty good with V bangs!

Omg I have a cowlick split in the middle of my baby bangs and if you have Betty bangs, that’s just not acceptable. I am going to try using a relaxer. I debated for years, but now I’m sold. If your brows and bangs are tight, the rest just doesn’t matter. I’ve also been debating on layers since Graves Disease stole 2/3 of my hair. I finally grow it out, to waist length and of course it falls out. This is a warning to fellow thick haired girls; if you ask them to thin your hair because you think thin hair looks nicer…the universe will steal your thick hair and you will cry.
Trimming your ends is essential, don’t be afraid to steal your mum’s "good scissors " or manicure scissors to do this, you just want the split ends gone. Castor oiling them once a week is good a maintenance habit!
Finally: The best haircut you will give yourself is the post bar, 4 AM, when you are still absolutely destroyed on Vanilla Stoli and Sour Puss. "I don’t need that chunk of hair…or this one…" best achieved with a straight razor. Tank Girl IS an acceptable hair icon.

I find it kind of funny and ironic that I watch UA-cam channels of girls who want to have a lot of hair volume, and I love their haircuts and all that... but I always go for the micro bob with undercut because I have a lot of hair (like two heads in one) or a pixie cut😂.
And the most horrendous thing is that with my hair straight, it seems like I have even more😭, so I always straighten it.

If your hair from the back of your head reaches the end of the ponytail, it will cut off length. Like hers will, because she cuts her hair like this all the time, you can see the blunt end before she even cut

The side pieces you're growing out kind of look a bit like a hime cut but I bet if you cut it more straight and a little above your jaw line I think it'd look adorable 🥹

Sorry if you’ve had a bad experience. But one thing I will say is that yes cutting long hair is much easier then short (by yourself) you can make a real mess of you hair cutting it short at home

You can but should be very careful and wait a few weeks and also use a low develop 👌🏻
I've been using the exact same method to cut my hair but I pull the ponytail even further forward for more extreme layers. Super easy, thanks Brad Mondo XD I used to do the same cut but by hand and it would take me HOURS but the ponytail > finishing trim takes me 30 minutes, then I'm just standing in the bathroom watching UA-cam HAHAHA

I have been cutting my own hair since I can even remember 😂 I used to cut all my friends hair in school, in their homes. I’ve cut family’s hair and even dogs hair 😂 the two times I went the hairdressers they fucked me ip. I asked for a mullet with no length taken off (my hair was shoulder length) and the first chop she did was all my length. Literally gave me a karen hair cut I’m not even kidding. I cried for days and I wore a hat religiously. I still now wear hats it’s like some ptsd shit, I can’t feel comfortable without one 😢

I can't go to the hairdresser because of my extremely debilitating anxiety (I have a hard time leaving the apartment for long periods of time) so I have to cut my own hair. But I have curly troll hair so it doesn't show so much if it goes a little wrong. But I would like to go to a hairdresser to dye my hair half pink and half purple because I haven't dared to do that myself yet.
I hear you, I know many who can’t go because of anxiety. My bf for example has a hard time feeling trapped when he’s there so now I only cut his hair 😅 I’m sure you could talk to a hairdresser and let them know before hand and take baby steps to make you feel comfortable ❤️

Never heard of this so-called viral "Wolf cut" but this is exactly how I’ve been cutting my hair for years! I figured it was the quickest, easiest way to get rid of dead ends and I ended up with layers. Might do a few more. So no, he didn’t invent anything viral. I’ve got 20 years on you and him so…he’s late to the game. Funny how things Gen X did, the Zika generation wants to claim they invented. 😂😂😂 Just like scene hair. Did that in the 80s and 90s. But yeah…you invented it and Talk Talk covered Gwen Stefani’s It’s My Life.
