Thanks for taking the time to watch this! I selfishly put this compilation together for myself so I would have it all in one place because a lot of the advice in here has helped shaped my life. You can get my VAGUE GOALS GET VAGUE RESULTS T-shirt here: teespring.com/stores/chris-van-vliet

It's funny you made this video, because Cena's "control the controllable" has deeply touched me when I watched the interview. I kinda believed in it, but hearing your childhood hero say it is different, I guess.
I can’t describe how good this video is... You’re the best, Chris. You deserve all the success you’ve had and all the success that is coming your way. ❤️
i won't lie. i've been going through a really tough time. but cena, rock an al snow alone, the things they said really just woke up me, an hit me. thank you for this.
For being so young and talented, Chris really has the feel of an old journalist: no tabloid nonsense, no clickbait, no instigating questions designed to get a response that will go viral. 99% of today's interviewers are just dumbasses holding a microphone. Chris is the 1% that puts his heart and soul into his craft and it always, always shows.
Wow, thank you. This comment means a lot to me. I'm proud to say I've been in broadcasting for 15 years and I've taken what I learned in my years of radio and TV and applied it to these interviews. I treat others with respect in the hopes that I will be treated with respect in exchange.
I've said for a long time that pro wrestlers are some of the most inspirational people on the planet. This is the BEST compilation of their motivation. Thanks brother!!
Professional wrestling to me is am escape from my real life problems. Not only that but your interviews as well ! I've been subscribed to your channel for a few months now & looked forward to your videos each time (thanks to the notification bell) nothing but respect for you Chris, thank you for sharing this video with us.
This is why your a badass! To go into each of these conversations and think of making this video ahead of time is AMAZING! Pure generousity and brilliant Thank You!
I really love Al Snow's quote of "if you want something bad enough you'll find a way, if you don't you'll find an excuse," it hit me hard being in a slump I've been in lately and it revitalized my sense of being and my motivation to reach my goals.
Chris it's official, you are now the Interview Heavyweight Champion. Hands down the best in the business today! Vague goals get vague results, it's quite clear you have very specific driven goals to be the best. Take care bro.
Chris Van Vliet, thank you for this compilation. This inspired me a lot (and I am a 16 year old watching this) for not only for the wrestling industry, but also in life in general. Thank you CVV. 😊
This was brilliant! So many of us need these nuggets. The power of living in the NOW, present moment is something so special. Wrestlers must be able to be "in the moment" and take each experience as it is- good or bad- beneficial or not. Thank you for posting this. SO many of us know that impermanence is all around us. It is up to us to move within the flow or be the resistance that allows the shadows to grow. "Focused on a shadow with your back turned to the light; too intelligent to see it's "you" in the way"
Thank you so much Chris. I needed this. This entire video has definitely made an impact. The quote from Dwayne 'the rock' Johnson is one I'll always have within my head from today onwards. 'sometimes things don't happen and when they don't they can be the best things that never happened'. Definitely smelled what the ROCK is cooking🙌🏾
Thanks again for another great video Chris! A quote that sticks to my head is from Arnold Schwarzenegger and it goes like this,"The most important thing is that you have a vision, that you have a goal. And without that vision, without that goal you're going to be drifting and you're never going to end up anywhere." 💪🏻
Of all the nuggets that was dropped my favorite is vague goals get vague results but specific goals get specific results.. & all the wrestlers had specific goals.. & the got specific results.. powerful.
Chris Van Vliet I enjoy every interview you do, you always are respectful and entertaining! I wanna say thank you to you for always working so hard and producing such great content!
Now this is a very cool video! This may be my 1000th video but it was absolutely phenomenal to hear motivational advice from Cena, Ziggler, Ryback, etc. I’m proud to be able to be a subscriber and a friend of CVV for over six years. Thank you Chris! 🎙
There were a couple people (one of which being Justin Roberts) who spoke about anything being possible if you want it bad enough. That quote really made me start to think about my wants and dreams and whether or not I want them bad enough and what beliefs are stopping me from wanting them.
Thank you for this, I needed this today and it's amazing that you took the time to bring this video to all of you fans and new comers looking for inspiration. Inspiration that could prevent them from making a bad decision that could alter their life in a negative way. The quote that stuck with me was from John Cena, "control the controllable" even though all the others are all equally inspiring. Thank you for this video and each video, I've become very invested in your channel and content.
Not gonna lie dude this is the first video I’m seeing that you’ve made but I gotta say I’m really impressed. One of the best videos I’ve seen in a long time.
i am glad i listen to this 10 mins before interview . i always failed in interview because i am scared, nervous. When i fell nervous i will forgot what i have to say/ But DDP's quote really gave me a confident boost 'Every time i go out do you think i was going to be nervous , or i will forgot what i was gonna say? FUCK NO! This gonna be my best thing i ever did! And I gonna inspire and blow people away.' Thanks Chris and DDP
Great idea for a video. Love the advice. I had already seen most of the interviews already. DDP sounds so awesome and genuine. That whole story about how you interviewed him is great.
My favourite piece of advice was John's about only controlling what you have control of and not worrying about the uncontrollable. Control the Controllable!
Thank you for this video. Cody Rhodes saying "Maximize your minutes" really stuck out to me. It's a very simple thing to say but I realized it's something I need to work on. There are things I want to do but I let myself get distracted by other things and never end up getting them done, so something to work on.
Thank you chris Months ago i commented that you inspire me And you replied «keep up you will make it happen» And now i say to you:thank you because i am literally in colege studying day in and day out to make my dream happen Thank you
Great video i needed this. "Be yourself no matter what. People will either hate you or love you but it will be that real version of yourself not the fake you". Ryback. But in general i really thank you chris for this video and motivation.
Thank you so much for this video! All of this helps my current situation. I’ve had what has felt like a bad week. I’m bipolar and wish I weren’t. And recently had an anxiety attack. But this has helped me so much and I appreciate it. Again thank you for putting this together!
Girlfriend: You better smash that like button.... Me: Two thumbs ahead of ya! Keep doing what you're doing man! love seeing and hearing these wrestlers advice and knowledge for life/success/wrestling
Chris the quote that helped me out the most was Muhammad Ali's positive affirmations (thanks DDP!) I am at a point in my life where I am setting up the road to go no-contact with a lot of abusive family including my mother who mostly spent our time together fueling me with negative affirmations. I have a bright future ahead of me and that is so because I will intentionally fuel it with only positive affirmations keeping the bad away!
Thanks chris, quote I like most is from al snow if you want something bad enough you will find away if not you find excuse and I agree but time doesn't wait for no one life is all about trials and tribulation again thank you chris you made my day never give up my friend and always put God first in everything you do my friend have a blessed day.
Huge thanks for putting this together Chris, I have been watching you for years, long before I got a beard and a mustache like the one on my profile picture lol :) you get the point, I have enjoyed all of your interviews so far. I aspire to make my own interviews, which is one of my goals in life, starting off with little to no experience btw, but I have a sense that I can turn it into something that is relatable and gives people value as a kind of service.
John Cena has been an idol of mine for years. I’ve been reading a lot of books about psychology and human behavior as well as the mind. The same stuff that I’m teaching myself is the same mindset John Cena has that keeps him at peace. Accept the now, don’t put all your eggs in one basket, and don’t live in the past. Most importantly, love yourself. That’s pretty cool to me. I grew up watching him and thought he was just cool. Now I kinda feel like I could have a conversation with him and relate to him. Insane how life works.
Definitely need more motivational videos!! Love motivation stuff from the unexpected person, not a guru. They resonate way more. Maximize your minutes was my personal best. We all have the same numbwt of hours and minutes a day it's just a matter of how we use them. More of these kind of videos please. Also will be buying your shirt soon!!

GOD DAMNIT AEW. Get this man on the payroll before he's snatched up elsewhere!!!!!!!
I love Alicia, but he would make the perfect back stage interviewer. He's so damn good at his job
It's funny you made this video, because Cena's "control the controllable" has deeply touched me when I watched the interview. I kinda believed in it, but hearing your childhood hero say it is different, I guess.

This is great Chris! 🙏 for including me in this. #FeedMeMore
It’s great advice Ryback! Thanks for sharing it
this is premium stuff man, Thanks for putting this together,.
I specifically liked ryback's advice... somehow it fits in my current situation in life.
I also loved when Rob Van Dam spoke about his actual relationship in the Interview with CVV. It's all about respect and to be honest. 420, blaze it.
Chris you don't know how much I needed this. Thank you so much ❤️
i won't lie. i've been going through a really tough time. but cena, rock an al snow alone, the things they said really just woke up me, an hit me. thank you for this.
Def the Rock's (along the lines of)
"Sometimes things don't happen. When they dont it can be the best thing that never happened"

Keep up the good work Chris & thank you. Awesome content 😎👌

I really hope you can make a part 2, if possible??
