Michael Cole sucks!! Worst commentator ever!! Big reason why wwe sucks. Commentating, match, and superstars larger than life are necessary for a complete sucessfull package. JR made Cole look Ok. No JR and Cole couldn't hold a candle to what Jim Ross had.

CVV, from a fellow Canadian from Ottawa I just wanted to say that I love your work and I can’t wait for a new interview every week. Thank you for making wrestling exciting again!!!
this one deserves all the views, all the reactions, all the news shout outs, simply cuz JR is a living legend, doing a free interview without restrictions of the company he's employed to, and ofc, it wouldn't be as great if the questions weren't good. i tip my non-existant hat to you, mr. CVV
JR is the last of the old school real announcing craftsmen. He is 100% correct too that it is better to not know the finish. I can remember Michael Cole annoucing a win before the three count was even done a few times or calling a kickout that hadnt even happened yet since he knew it was coming. JR’s calls are just like a fan and he is surprised so it is authentic.
Chris Van Vliet. I started watching your interviews a while back. I must say that you are doing an amazing job! You ask the right questions, you don't interrupt and your reactions a genuine. You've believed in your dreams and you've been doing a great job! Much respect and keep it going!!!
JR has always been an inspiration to me cause if someone with an illness that doesn't allow him to speak very well and complete deny the ability to smile becomes the greatest commentator in history of pro wrestling means that everybody can accomplish something in life no matter how complicated their situation is; if hard work is implemented every day constantly everyone can achieve success in what they believe and transform their passion into work
Jim Ross has all I want in a commentator: affective memory because his voice is linked to most the greatest moments of wrestling. Great knowledge of he's talking about. Reliability in his reactions. Professionalism. JR's one of the biggest signings AEW ever made. Jim Ross means familiarity with Pro Wrestling.

@Jay Leno Joe Rogan knows the ins and outs of mma, even trains in it. What merit do you hold for your statement? Ross is a godly commentator yes, but in all reality Rogan is an excellent mma commentator as well.
Holy shoot, Chris!! This have GOTTA have been one of them "Bucket list" interviews for you! So proud of you and watching what your hard work is getting you! It may sound weird to you, but you ARE an inspiration to me, showing everyone that you get what you put in it and you're getting EVERYTHING and then some! Huge congratz, my man! As always, a huge fan :)
Its weird hearing them talk about how the commentators always tell backstroies while matches are going on because i literally just watched a throwback an hr ago of Joey Styles shoot promo on while when he quit, he said the exact same thing JR said
Uncle Jessie Styles was speaking the truth. Joey was always calling the action in the ring. Guys like Corey Graves are talking about the wrestlers personal life rather then talk about what’s going on in the ring.
Its so meaningless. I mean a brief backstory can be told during the walk to the ring but WWF/E has always done very well, self explanatory packages. To have their commentators beat that dead horse mercilessly is killing them also.
@@greatomeister675 Honestly though you'd be hard pressed to find a match where JR doesn't talk about a guy's college career. Especially in WCW. Pretty much any time you ever hear JR talk he will find some way to use a sports analogy. @@ChrisVanVliet I'm guessing with post Match interviews we will see Kip again! it's looking like a pretty solid card for tonight. Can't wait to see how Bea Priestly does! What's your anticipated match on the card tonight CVV?
If Chris interviews Nyla does he gotta say no homo
I am almost 40 can't believe how old i am Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone were 1 of the many reasons why i watched WCW and WWE now hearing them again on AEW brings back my childhood thank you AEW
Hi Chris.
Great job big guy! One hell of an interview.
Thanks bro!
Amazing interview, could've watched another 2 hours of JR telling stories. He's definitely one of the best. Thank you and I cant wait until the next one
JR is and will always be the PREMIER commentator in wrestling. When he sells a match it makes it instantly legitimate and classic. Thank you JR, your classic lines are what I imagine when I think wrestling.
CVV, from a fellow Canadian from Ottawa I just wanted to say that I love your work and I can’t wait for a new interview every week. Thank you for making wrestling exciting again!!!
My favorite interview so far. Thank you Chris!
Another amazing interview CVV. It’s been very cool watching your Channal and career evolve and grow
this one deserves all the views, all the reactions, all the news shout outs, simply cuz JR is a living legend, doing a free interview without restrictions of the company he's employed to, and ofc, it wouldn't be as great if the questions weren't good.
i tip my non-existant hat to you, mr. CVV
I just read JR’s book “under the black hat”. Gave me a whole new appreciation for him.
Waow didn't see this one comin! JR droppin gems per usual! Great interview CVV! 17:23 LMAO
Im a little child admiring this legend! The voice of my childhood!
When Jim said when talking to Ali he couldn’t believe he was talking to him at times is how Chris is with Jim can see it in his face. Great work
Yeah Chris did seem a little starstruck, which is weird considering his day job. But can you really blame him?
Chandler Kane defo not guys a legend
Damn, your interviews have become essential viewing. Great job!
This is my favorite interview you've ever done, because JR is truly the voice of wrestling. He's a true Legend and the GOAT.
The G.O.A.T of commentary meets the G.O.A.T of interviewers!! You're amazing CVV!
JR is always a great interview, he has so much knowledge about wrestling and about life.
Jim Ross is a legend. Thanks Chris for helping show the world how great he is and showing good ol' JR how much we love him back
"Wrestling fans needs to band together...." YES!!!! i love that quote!! too many Pro-One Promotion Fans these days that talk down on other promotions...
Best one so far. I cried at 34:00. I can only imagine the hurt JR must have felt. What a great man, and what a great interview.
"That piss-ant money is sure good". JR is a foo 🤣🤣🤣🤣 God Bless JR. Can't wait to hear his voice every week calling wrestling matches. Where he belongs 🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭
23:11 My favorite JR call that I STILL get goosebumps from was, as a kid and massive Jeff Hardy fan, "And LOOK AT THIS! THE UNDERTAKER RAISING JEFF HARDY'S HAND!!!" after their ladder match for the title.
This channel is a must if your a wrestling fan. Yet another great interview
No Chris has the charisma of a used wet bag. He also isnt a looker either...
Verbatim perhaps your time is best served not clicking on his videos let alone commenting on them. Not sure what his looks have anything to do with it!
That was an amazing interview, wish I could watch it for the first time again
Chris this interview was a slobber knocker for the ages! 😄💪🌟. It's so amazing & wonderful to hear the amount of wisdom JR has. I won't spoil what he said in this interview cuz this is something every wrestling fan should watch from beginning to end. Would you say this is one of your biggest interviews to date? I'm proud of you man & i can't wait to see what you do next.
It's definitely up there as one of the biggest!
Chris Van villet this is random but would you agree that Bret was a draw WWE was never danger going out business.they would been second in rating but they were beating WCW house show and PPV live gate. Business was strong duirng Bret run just not as much hogan era Serval ppv that Bret lead made money
Awesome interview man! Can’t wait to see a part 2 to this.
Another TREMENDOUS Interview Chris. Admire the hustle. Your a great interview.
Excited to see what else you have in store for us. Great work on this and every interview!
Jim Ross' drive and work ethic is inspiring as fuck.
It's always a breath of fresh air listening to an interview that the interviewer doesn't always interrupt the interviewee.
This is bigger than interviewing the president of the United States. Very dope
Lol
@mylifeintheknifetrade Okay, keep idolizing someone that, quite literally, lies every single time he opens his mouth.
And it's not Russia that's the problem - it's Saudi Arabia and Israel.
@mylifeintheknifetrade How was Obama "cozy with Iran"? He gave them back their own money. Lay off the Fox News, bud.
@@Tcrror he is stating facts not idolizing anyone.
It's just a fact that trumps foreign policies are tougher on Russian than Obama's
Listen to the band Anal Trump. That will tell u everything that u need to know about his goofy ass and its followers.
great interview that, I'm really enjoying Chris' interviews with AEW stars as he doesnt interupt them and asks the right questions that make it interesting, keep up the good work mate! Plus, totally agree with JR about MJF, best heel ive seen in at least 10-12 years, when the weekly show starts he is gonna be absolutely flying
And again, Chris you outdid yourself with a great interview!
Thanks JR for all the memories
Thanks Chris for all the great insightful interviews, hope you make the big time
Next time, give him even more coffee. Could keep listening to Jim Ross for weeks on end about his first hand wrestling stories.
JR is the best Ever!!
Great interview Chris! Your best one yet 🔥
I didn't become a wrestling fan because of a wrestler. I became as wrestling fan because of Jim Ross
Without JR and The King I doubt I would have gotten hooked either!
@Jay Leno Joe Rogan knows the ins and outs of mma, even trains in it. What merit do you hold for your statement? Ross is a godly commentator yes, but in all reality Rogan is an excellent mma commentator as well.
@Jay Leno it's called having a life first off. Second, you DID NOT make that clear. Third, why the fuck are you so worked up? You look like a moron.
Chris, you're so respectful and professional. Love your interviews!
Amazing interview, keep up the excellent work!
Thanks very much!
It's interviews like this that earned you the prestige of being in the Cultaholic hall of fame. Love what you've been doing!😁
" I want to be respectful of your time" Talks for another 20 minutes,. I love it
I come home from work after a long day to find a new CVV interview - with a legend, no less. Thank you for doing what you do, and so well at that!
17:22 😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭 I'm in tears lol gotta love J.R
@@screamrad218 Very true!
Its so meaningless. I mean a brief backstory can be told during the walk to the ring but WWF/E has always done very well, self explanatory packages. To have their commentators beat that dead horse mercilessly is killing them also.
Especially Michael Cole, ALWAYS telling wrestlers’ backstories, how many titles they won in their career and yada yada BS. Lmao
@@greatomeister675 Honestly though you'd be hard pressed to find a match where JR doesn't talk about a guy's college career. Especially in WCW. Pretty much any time you ever hear JR talk he will find some way to use a sports analogy. Not that I disagree with his point that commentary is terrible but I'm just saying that JR has been guilty of it too.
Great job as always, you ha e been killing it. And you are the talk of the biz right now. Once again great job.
