@Tha Real Mccoy I was born with a physical condition called Cerebral palsy or more commonly known as CP. Due to this condition I have a lot of physical problems. I don't wanna get into those because the list is too long In 2010 through 2013 my health was getting really badd I had to deal with multiple operations during that time and nothing was going right in my life. So after a while when you're going through all this negative/badd stuff physically It starts to get to you mentally and emotionally. And I just wanted everything to stop Like I have a amazing family and I have everything I could want in my life but like I felt as if no one was really understanding what was going on with me and I just wanted everything to stop nothing really mattered. However I just had a serious heart-to-heart conversation with myself and I said with everything that I've gone through already in life I'm still here for a reason let me keep moving forward and accomplish as many goals as I can before I actually do die.
Listening to this makes me so emotional I recognize so much of what he's saying my mum and brother committed suicide when I was a kid I'm 39 and a mess

Brother, it takes a big man to admit to having struggles. By telling your story, you are helping so many people who are going through the same thing. God bless you, Big Cass..., and THANK YOU. 👍💯🙏
Beautifully said Cass. It is the strong that seek the help, not the weak. As you said it is so hard to talk to someone especially when they see you as having everything. Material possessions mean absolutely nothing when you suffer and live with depression and anxiety. People would look at Cass and see this big strong guy, and could never imagine his life to be anything but perfect. Well done Cass, it takes a real man to admit when he needs a little outside help
Wrestlelamia had posted recently a compare/contrast of this man. A before and after of sorts. He's lost a TON of weight and looks on fire he's so passionate. He's living proof that although it may take awhile to turn the ship...you can turn the ship and set sail to its proper course. And yes Mr.Cass.......you did just teach that. Godspeed to you. 🙏😇👍
Thanks for sharing. I've been there and it's the worst. I was detoxing from alcohol and had a seizure. 5 days in the hospital and 2 of those in the ICU. Depression and addiction does not discriminate. Keep up the good work. One day at a time.
I totally understand, and relate. As a person that suffers from bi polar depression, and anxiety I feel like you are telling my story. I self medicated, turned to vices as a means to take the pain away. People couldn't understand why I was hurting. That I was a crybaby, a buzzkill, weak, etc. I've spent countless nights wishing that I was dead, that my life had no meaning, that noone would care if I was gone from this world. For those who think people with depression are weak. You couldnt be more wrong. It takes a great deal of strength to admit you need help, face your demons, and live
Depression is no joke. Ask Chester Bennington, Robin Williams, Jim Carrey (I know he's alive). I myself have been suffering from depression and anxiety issues for 7 years now. I connect to this on a very personal level.
For someone who also lives with depression and anxiety, that vid just hit home so hard. Its not something that you can just snap out of. To see a pro wrestler suffering like that really does humanize and humble you when you think that your the only one that has that issue. Thanks for sharing the vid with us, and keep fighting CAZXL
Thank you so much for sharing your story. It's real, and so many go thru it and think they are the only one that feels that way. Take care and God Bless you!
Thank you for sharing this . Everyone seek help for depression, anxiety etc pick your self up . Even if you have PTSD have someone to talk to its no joke, weakness etc
From what I can tell from the video, Doug Lawson is the man who reached out to Cass before his seizure, DDP is just helping spread the message. But yeah, DDP is saving lives all around the world at this point, not just those of wrestlers. The man is a modern day saint and gives the gift of hope to thousands of broken people who felt they were doomed to always live a life of self-abuse and hopelessness. Very few people in this world today show the amount of compassion for humanity that Page does. I often find myself thinking that world's population is complete shit, but then I remember people like DDP exist and he's not the only one spreading the positivity and focusing his energy on bettering the lives of his fellow man, even if they're total strangers who have reached out to him.
As a fellow struggler with Anxiety, enormous amount of respect and admiration for Cass, those dark days battling a seemingly endless internal conflict in your head feeling you're so alone is one of the worst feelings a human can feel, really happy to hear he's doing better, all the very best to him.
I really admire you for sharing your story. Depression makes the sufferer think they are all alone when nothing is further from the truth. There are so many of us who struggle with anxiety and depression. I’ve known four people who died from suicide in the past few years and in every single instance the outpouring of love from those close to them afterward was overwhelming. That would be true of any of us who struggle with this. I echo Cass’ statement of getting help, talking about it. Be honest and open and unafraid to admit it if you feel this way. There are people who care about you, each of you, more than the disease let’s you realize.
I'm so glad to see you doing better. I'm so grateful for DDP and the people whose lives he's touched and helped bring hope and transformation. Thanks for sharing your story it's inspirational. I don't really care which organization you end up in but if you still want to be a big star wrestler maybe this time with your head on your shoulders straight so you can enjoy the life that'll be fantastic I look forward to it.
Oh, please try not to drink. Take it from someone who knows. Alcohol will only make you more depressed. You are not alone as you can now see. There are many, too many, of us, going thru this trial. But see, we are going thru it. We are not staying in it, we go thru. I have a cycle of downward and less downward. Severe depression is like that. There is no day I can say, hey I'm happy today. Well, I say it to mask it from others. But the truth is there is no good day for me, just less depressing ones. I'll take whatever God puts in my path. Get some help, friend, please. Don't give up. Life is worth battling for, if not for yourself, for those who suffer too. We can show them the light. God Bless.
Though I can't relate to the religious aspect, everything else is on point and something everyone struggling should hear. Thank you, Mr. Morrissey, for sharing your story. I've not done a good job of being open about my deteriorating mental health, and I can't discourage inaction enough. There's always someone willing to listen.

My background is in psychology, so I knew he was right. You don't have to know the other person. But, start complimenting others (like the grocery store cashier) and you make friends. It's the easiest way I have ever made friends. I sure hope that Big Cass reads this stuff, too. He is brave to tell the world about his struggle. And so are all the people who commented about their own struggles. I pray more for the others than I do for my issues {Except for the dog-she has some serious diabetes, Cushing's disease, and other illnesses related to diabetes. } Hang in there and God bless!
DDP is the hardest wrestler to hate
Dude should be the patron saint of wrestlers considering the guys he's helped and extended the lives and careers of
Along with Mick Foley and Rey Mysterio
Pretty sure that much was evident when he was getting face reactions while stalking Undertaker's wife lmao.
Nobody hates DDP. He's the man.
Damn
All the best brother. Spoken like a true man and gentlemen.

Much respect to Big Cass for coming out of his comfort zone to discuss a serious subject. God bless you and hope to see you tear it up in the ring again soon 🙏
Many wrestling fans suffering from depression and anxiety escape it by watching wrestling
so true
Yeah we do cuz I had a rough week and the first thing popped in my head was I feel like watching kofiKingston and the new day.
that was japanese fan always do. after a long day work, they watch wrestling
Right ❕💯 MMA too
i agree. the only way for me to stop dealing with depression and anxiety from watching wwe was to stop watching. everytime cena goes out this sense of utter anger sets in. anytime he starts feuding with other talent i get nervous knowing they will get flushed with the rest. seeing him salut like he was a soldier makes me depressed knowing he wasnt even in the marines.
As a fellow sufferer of this illness, thank you. Thank you for speaking out and encouraging others to do the same. I'm glad that you were even able to tell this story.

Each day is like running an uphill marathon with your brain being your private torture chamber.
Thats how hard that is - breaks the strongest man's back...
Well said totally agree
Yes well said. Their mind starts just being overwhelmingly negative with negative thoughts and feelings. It's horrible
Well, I don't feel badass about having two mental problems at once lol.
Not finding joy at anything, "not being good enough for myself" despite knowing two languages, having fear of even leaving my house it's anything but "wow, so cool this bad SOB is".
Maybe the only thing that makes me "rude" is that I don't use pills or drugs to ease the pain and I survived myself for so long; I might be a looney but I have my standards lol

Big Cass I met you a couple times while you were in the WWE You were always great to me. Thank you for having the courage to share your story I myself have dealt with depression and at 1 point in my life I was suicidal. So I thank you for having the courage to tell your story because it's not easy! God-bless you my friend keep moving forward I hope our paths cross again one day!
The fact that you are still going is admirable it of itself.
You've lived a decade longer than I have and went through soemthing I cant imagine as a child, so I wont try tl patronize you.

I'm so glade this man found a way out, big respect, love and support for him.

I needed to hear this today. Thank you so much for sharing. Much love brother.
Thank you for being there for big cass, and for helping him be the best he can be, You sir are blessing.
Very clearly explained by Cass
Talk... please talk, don't make it taboo
Thanks for sharing. I've been there and it's the worst. I was detoxing from alcohol and had a seizure. 5 days in the hospital and 2 of those in the ICU. Depression and addiction does not discriminate. Keep up the good work. One day at a time.
How much were you drinking for that to happen
This video should have way more views. Huge respect.
Big Cass that for this. I suffer with depression and anxiety. I self medicated with heavy drugs. And hearing this made my heart happy
Thank you Big Cass to come out straight. Im too survivor of Depression- u did the right thing. and prayers sent to you !
How can we ask Chester and Robin?

I really felt what Cass was talking about & let me say, I've lived with this for many years myself & yes it can be very crippling if not taking care of!! I'd love to share a poem I wrote about depression & really wish to share it with you all & I really hope possibly big Cass will be able to read this as well!! I hope that this poem will talk & help everyone dealing with this mental issue!! Thank you all & God bless!!
"DEPRESSION"
I'm a mental disease, I affect the young and old,
I will take your life and make it feel like a toll,
Make you feel like you're less then a person, lonely,
Take your passions and dreams, turn them into curses,
Then sadness, to even taking your own life!!!
I put fear into your head and thoughts,
Into a cage of misery,
Filling you up was past feelings,
Bringing back those favorite events, you so wish you forgotten;
I come major, manic, seasonal,
I'm very sporadic,
I'm born with many names and moods,
bipolar is one of my best nicknames,
I'm within you, sometimes I come later in life,
I make it so, that you're angry and irritable, it's just not right,
I affect different people, in different ways,
Yet you all have one thing in common, me!!!
I will interfere with everything and day in your life,
If left alone, I will creep and grow into a life, that takes hold of you into the months, into years,
I will crawl into thoughts, to whisper, sweet nothings, so you will end it!!!
Happiness doesn't exist, while I'm taking over,
I make sure I take care of your every activity, so you stay unhappy!!!
I help you find faults in your life, things, loved ones and people,
make you frustrated at the small things, yourself, loved ones and people;
I will have you focused when the smallest matters, issues, make you disturbed with what matters, so that I block you from ever achievement or seeing the bigger picture!!!
I will take your fun and have you, unable to ever experience this, yes you may put on your mask, to smile and fit in, but I still keep you in a poor state of mine, the feeling of loving yourself or having intimacy, is what I truly love to take over and live;
this is what I call home,
you may call me depression.

WOW DDP is saving all the former wrestlers

Thank you for sharing. So many men suffer and think that they can't share because it makes them less of a man. You are not alone.
