What brand are these knock in bolts?
John_Avery_Smith blank, those are hard to find nowadays
Where's the print behind you from? Love it lots! Good setup too.
Wich Ventures do you like most? 5.25 or 5.6? Always a pure pleasure to watch your videos!
I also recommend using a straight edge to "align the front and rear trucks" parallel. Otherwise, it does not seem to happen automatically...
Thanks you I love you vids
Me: “I like my grip as sticky as it can be”
Also me: *rides mob m-80
That's just nasty and ruins shoes
Kyle Ganger nope
That silver tool is a game changer
Good video
That’s like my nightmare setup, lol. Bones, Ventures, Pig Grip and a super steep deck with no fingers of flat! I wud die.....
Lol I'd try out some Ventures but I'd probably never skate anything else on this setup lol
@@soydave1988 I grew up on Venture lows... their highs are so fucking heavy and hard to skate for me tho! This whole setup wud be miserable for me!
i like to sand down the border of my grip it helps keep it seeled down and helps stop the concave edges of the grip from digging througb your shoes, i also do the very tip of the nose where you hold it cause i got sick of raspberry gripthumb man. i usually carve out the mountholes with the razor too to allow the hardware to countersync in so they go flush with the grip
I was almost going to buy those wheels which would make our setups basically identical. Except I put Bones medium bushings in my Ventures 5.2 highs. At least this week I do.
Yo you got the same trucks I’m riding, venture highs 👊🏻👊🏻
Cool that you say you work as a carpenter. Im a brick mason and do carpentry as well. On the truck note i have a pair of the pre dlx venture highs that im thinking of dropping for some indy 139 or 149ers. Something about venture highs i just dont like
need that venture video you mentioned earlier in this video :)
Ben: *uses a knife and file to grip his board*
Me: *uses my housekey and my truck axle*
Thanks Ben! I always enjoy watching your videos! You got pretty solid fs flips :) btw any thoughts on OJ elites?
I'd also like to know from them, maybe not from Ben but from anyone.
Hey Ben what do you mean when you say “ghost pop” ? I’m sorry, I know you probably have explained in previous videos. You are by far the best skateboard review person on UA-cam with all the info you give. Thank you.
It’s when you pop a trick but your tail doesn’t actually hit the ground :)
got the same wheels in 54mm love em
Oh and that was the weirdest way I've ever seen someone go grip a board.😁
I'd imagine it's way easier to grip a small board. I have to be a bit precise with my big boards or just cut it up into grip tape art but I honestly just like to have a nice solid black piece beneath me. I can never keep a skate tool. I always lose them but I don't lose my screwdrivers and socket wrench. I'm more of a colored urethane kind of guy with my wheels. I prefer bright pink or green. I just love the look of it. I'm using a wider and softer wheel since I like to have a bit more grip when I'm skating the bowl at the park near me at 97a.
