The footage here was really nice. Beyond the content it had a really good feel, angles, flow and like you said a little bit of music really gave it that little extra 👌 Definitely did a good job
Having Adriano Fiore as a filmer and skater friend has probably given you 30% of the skate kills and motivation in this vid. 20% was from the setup. And the rest from you, and some rush not to get too late home...
@@simulationleon1878 he probably doesn't mention them as it's 2 separate worlds, but it's not hard to connect the dots between the channels lol. He's got a great personality for this stuff though!
I'm so glad I found this channel. I'm 34 and I've just picked up my skateboard again after over 10 years of nothing more than a 5 minute roll and my board collecting dust. This channel gives me so much motivation and great info too 🤙
you skate exactly how I want to skate when Im older Ben, from trick selection to style, you're always killing it! really enjoyed this video especially with the music during the skating, really brings a brighter mood to the videos. keep it up👍🏻
This right here man. Ben gives me hope that adult skaters can still do what they want to continue on with when they were skating as teens or young adults
@@RajeevWins and a lot of people won't even do that. It seems like the part of the graphics not on the inside of the conical will always be gone in a few sessions.
Hey Ben! I really appreciate your content and opinion. I turned 30 last month and i'm soo hyped getting even more progression the next ten years. Thanks for the inspiration! Greetings from Germany
Obviously, you are right 100%! Best styled ever. Could not remember name (sorry). But when I think of this trick, I cannot figure anyone better done than this.
I thought this was filmed in Summer until I looked behind you and saw everyone in their winter gears haha. Nice to see the good weather around Vancouver
The fact that Ben has less than 100k subs and John Hill has 1mil is a fucking disgrace. Ben is always making 🔥videos and reviews and ACTUALLY talks about what his video title says not just clickbait like that other fucking lame. Keep making awesome videos Ben!! 🙌🏻
That is sooo rad that they sent you that set up. Huge props to you Ben you deserve everything that you’ve worked for. Do another FS Heeflip for your boy again 😂🤟
From FKD to Ándale, from Plan B to Primitive, from Grizzly to Primitive grip, from Plan B wheels to Primitive wheels. The Diamond hardware is literally the one thing that has stayed consistent lol
I ride an 8.25 and started skating primitive decks recently and I’ve come to really love the shape and mellowness of the board, probably gonna be my go to board brand for a while
Ronnie Bertino @ 9:55 doing the Nollie Frontside flip over the chain and down the bank. It's the same gap that Tom Penny destroyed years later with a handful of tricks.
So sick that Prod and Primitive set you his setup. Really fun idea for a video! Great follow filming & video settings were crystal clear! Looked like you were having fun Ben.
Mediocre session... if I could skate that well when I retired 15 years ago... I’d have been pretty stoked. Just trying to get back into skating as my town has finally decided to invest in a professionally designed/made skatepark and our son is getting into it. The videos have helped bring back the skate itch. Thanks.
My favorite 8.25!!! I dont need any trucks lol, im about to give some this summer!!! Interesting video Ben, i think a lot of the pro ride almost everything standard.
Glad to see a new content. I threw my back out on a sketchy landing and have been unable to skate for a bit while it settles down. Always enjoy a new video and watching a fellow “youngster” like Ben kill it. Getting younger is a bitch. 46 in may and I’m not giving up the board anytime soon.
No idea what your favourite Nollie Half Cab Flip is, but mine is Mark Appleyard in Flip's Sorry. It looks like it's filmed in Barcelona and it's the spot that's flat, then small gap to bank. Such great style, and Canadian!
Hi Ben! Thanks for this grear review and amazing runs. I am quite impressed by the succession of nice tricks, some I think, you learned recently. Nice choice of song too. Sure riding PR set up gave you some extra powers!! As for your fav fs nollie flip, many quote Ronnie Bertino in second hand smoke. My fav ever too, just now curious to hear who else can challenge this..
Damn I wish Montreal had BC weather! We are still at minus 15 with a foot of snow. With the shut down and indoor parks closed. I couldn’t skate all winter 🥶 Can wait for Spring!!!
I can't imagine skating a 14 inch wheelbase. I think up until 6 months ago all my setups were 14.25 wheelbase. But then I moved to 14.5 and it is real comfortable for me. With the new ventures I bought, do you think I should go down in wheelbase to really get the most out of the trucks or will it not matter much? I watch the full videos but I don't have the 90s skate knowledge to answer any of the questions. I am just pumped that you are hooking up the good people in the skatervers.
im pretty stoked that you got a board from the rod himself! Really love your in-depth analysis of everything about a skateboard, helped me find my fancy's to get my tricks as best as i can
Famous van curb spot, idk ur fav fs nollie flip but keeping the primitive vibe I’d just like to say robert neal has a really good one n id love a pair of ventures to try out.
A line from Mike Mo's fully flared part when he does a line at Royal High school. He does a nollie krook to regular then does a kickflip backside tailslide to backside flip out.
I live close to P-rod and see him around from time to time. The crupie wheels look really nice and love the bright white but they are slow, flat spot, and feel like plastic. I also out of the big three trucks enjoy the Ventures the least. I can balance much better on a Thunder and they are more predictable. I can get used to anything but Indy and Thunder is enough for me. I do skate the primitive 8.25 and love the shape and dimensions
Ronnie Bertino's part in plan b second hand smoke the nollie fs flip was his second trick in his third line the line was heel flip, nollie fs flip over tree grate flat gap, switch flip, crook bonk the planter ledge
Just want to say a big thanks to Adriano Fiore for filming!!!!
He did a great job!!!
Everyone should check Adriano's channel too!! He's really good

It should be a series
There is a UA-cam skater that does that. Decks. Shoes. Etc.
can’t remember his name for some reason right now tho
He could do Nyjahs set up since Nyjah sells his exact mold with his company now, an 8.125 Disorder board, with 147 thunders
wow, Nyjah skates a pretty slim deck profile. How tall is he? Since he skates such big and narly stuff I figured he'd skate an ~8.5.@@tresfordays9644
Dude I cannot believe Prod sent you that. Incredible. One of the greatest to ever step on a skateboard.
I'd say you're becoming an artist Ben!

Guy Mariano in “ Mouse”. The line in the school yard, nose grind , nollie half cab flip. Best ever !
