It's not just that they're losing its how they're losing with the stupid mistakes. Unforced errors constantly shooting themselves in the foot and against inferior opponents at that.
Who's inferior? They are 1-4 should be 0-5. They can barely score double digits. FSU is the inferior team.

Had you been around in 1973 you would've been treated to a 0-11 season. I believe the HC was Larry Mudra he lasted until 76 when Bobby Bowden resurrected the program.

Everything is coming to the light. Norvell is being exposed to who he really is. No Jordan Travis. No elite portal class to cover up bad coaching. This is all a culmination of years of sub par recruiting. Bad development. And he we are week in, week out, getting out coached by mediocre programs.
We are WORSE in year 5 under Norvell than we were in Year 1 & 2 with Taggart. Just think about that

Last year fsu was the best second half team in the country! Thats all coaching though and nothing to do with talent because the talent is the constant in any 60 minute game barring massive injuries. And after travis went down they were still the beat second half team statistically! What happened?

We fired Taggart mid season 2019 for a 4-5 start. To quote Dave Coburn “a 4-5 team is not who we are at Florida State” I’m sure Mike Norvell has not forgotten how he came to be here.

@@dentonyoung4314 He wasn't good though. Oregon State had good play design and a bunch of his throws were one read. They asked him to not do a lot and he was okay when a play was designed to go to one spot and one spot only. FSU is asking him to read defenses and make judgement calls with the RPO plays. He just has a low football IQ, and always has. He's the same player he was in 2021.
Ok captain hindsight, everyone knew there would be a dropoff yes, but NOBODY expected a dropoff to this extent. This is a bottom 5 team in all of college football.....but only you saw that coming? Sure you did....

It's stunning when you think about it, a veteran O-line with more experience probably 99% of All of college football and very well are the worst in the country.
This team is pathetic. I’ve never seen a team with the funding and resources that FSU has, get beat by teams who have maybe the half the resources and talent and it’s not even close. I’ve never seen a QB - so horrible, that they make Clint Tricket memories not so bad. If the university wants to continue to fund this program while it becomes the consummate laughing stock of college football, that’s fine, but FSU will not see a penny moving forward, from a massively declining fan base. This is absolutely the most embarrassing representation of the Seminoles I’ve ever seen in my 30 years watching / supporting this team and that’s saying something. Each of these players and coaches should be ashamed of themselves.
I wouldn’t say that about SMU, though. Sure, they have half the talent but they have MUCH MORE in resources.

Who thinks that the Florida State program or the University has the resources to compete in this new era of college athletics ? There are only four institutions that have the resources now and they will be the only ones competing. Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State are paying unbelievable amounts of money to professional players. Everyone else is pretending and it won’t be long before a lot of universities say enough already. College football has been totally ruined by big money.

Those two runs at the goal line w DJ were 2 of the worst calls I’ve seen ! I’m trying to give Mike the benefit of the doubt but after those two calls I’ve lost confidence and faith in his play calling / coaching . We’ve gone from begging him to stay to begging him to leave ! In hindsight sight the Georgia beat down was a preview of what we had coming back this year !
I haven't seen FSU this bad since Willy Taggert. What do you think the chances of Deion are? With the talent FSU has, he can turn that program around. Colorado had nothing and it's hard to get southern players to go there.

This is what we all saw after the loss of their starting qb last season. ESPN, the ACC, and the fan base tried to prop them up, but we all saw there was no depth. “ We deserve a playoff for beating no one.” They even tried to convince us that Florida with a backup qb and a Louisville team that the ACC struggled to give wins to with bad calls, were quality wins. They are who we thought they were. A pathetic team of individuals who were blown out by 50 by Georgia. Congrats FSU fans you are TCU.
OU fan here. You would of thought with the victory over us back in the Cheez-it bowl, would have been a great momentum boaster going into the 2023 season, but with all this drama around the program and leaving the ACC and losing 63-3 to Georgia to 1-4 this season is one of the biggest meltdowns of a program I have seen since Miami in 2005 losing to LSU going into the 2006 season.

Fans can be mad all they want, but they not cutting the check on the buyout. They had a chance to hire Coach Prime, but passed because his lack of P5 experience. Colorado 4-1 FSU 1-4. I think FSU would take the circus and attention Coach Prime at this point

Ohio State has a $20mill for players and $20 mill for coaches payroll. They have head coaches at every position. They come down and recruit the best players out of Florida, Georgia nd Texas.

Dabo didn't forget last year and he's going to rub salt in the wounds and run the score up on purpose to prove it, that 14.5 is about 10 points to low in my opinion.
This 5 game record will set FSU recruiting back 5 years. Watch and see.
Is it possible to have AI coaches as Bobby Bowden and Mickey Andrews? I'm sure there's enough film to load into it for AI to break down their coaching style, lol. It can't get any worse. I just knew Bobby was gonna teach his sons how to be great coaches, and they would carry on the Bowden legacy at FSU. I'm not sure you can teach his character, tho. Bobby was a great human with a huge heart. He had a special way of making u feel like the most important person in the room when he spoke to u. I met him 3 times, and he was just a genuinely nice man. I think that's why his players played so hard for him. You don't finish in the top 5, 14 straight years without the players buying in 100%. 14 straight bowl appearances without a loss. The good ole days
The FSU Athletic Department is looking very precarious at this point with the meltdown of the football program that started with Georgia last year. The precedent set with all those players that up and quit was the precursor to the terrible play now and the coaches were clueless. With all that is happening with the lawsuit, even if it settles, FSU tanking again doesn’t help pay more because nobody will be watching a losing team with no hope. All the buyouts means coaches don’t have to worry, FSU is screwing itself.

The precedent set with all those players that up and quit was the precursor to the terrible play now and the coaches were clueless. With all that is happening with the lawsuit, even if it settles, FSU tanking again doesn’t help pay more because nobody will be watching a losing team with no hope. All the buyouts means coaches don’t have to worry, FSU is screwing itself.
So many players opting out of the bowl was an alarm going off, that FSU fans tried to justify or ignore. Culture in that program is terrible right now. Most don't love the school or teammates. Just the paycheck. Happening elsewhere too, but they also hired a terrible QB that makes it more glaring.

Man, this season is a dud for sure, I think if we would have gotten Cam Ward instead of of DJU we wills atlest have two more wins this year. But I think the team is losing its drive on this season
No one wants to coach at a school that is suing there own conference, suing there TV partner , a school that the SEC and BIG 10 doesn’t want. Might as well keep Norvell , gonna be hard to find anyone better.
