I am 70 now and I can remember feeling like this so long ago. I really wanted a girl to share my life with. I did make a promise that if I found the right girl I would treat her as she should be treated. Well eventually my girl did turn up. She has had no complaints in all those decades since. I have never forgotten that promise either.
