Grammy-winning Erivo lends her incredible pipes to the Proms for what will be a beautiful night of tributes to the women who inspired her. Performing at the Royal Albert Hall, and backed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, Erivo will cover hits from iconic artists such as Nina Simone, Shirley Bassey, Billie Holiday and Gladys Knight.

Tom Jones singing this live was stunning. Such a rich voice but his final notes of this song are jaw dropping. He is amongst one the best at singing this song imo

I wanted to get my best friend something really special for her birthday. I saw that she is coming to Davies Symphony hall here in San Francisco to perform with our symphony, and it really was the only choice. Tickets were $250 each, and I battled with it for a couple of days but after watching numerous performances of hers on UA-cam, I know it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see someone who is dedicated, has mastered and at the top of the field in her craft. I got us tickets in the lodge, first row. It was between there and orchestra row 11. I chose these seats for the view and the sound. I don’t know what we’re going to get except for a total masterpiece that we’ll remember forever. I’m so excited.
