Really fun, always like using simulations in different ways than expected. Id say you could get some faster results using redshift scatter objects, plus throw in some particle color to drive your shader. Either way, a great starting point to keep experimenting.
I cant find the 'turbulence' tab in pyro simulation (that you mention at 2:50). I use Cinema4D 2024.3.2... any ideas how I can create the cloud effect without it?
Totally love this tutorial and your way of teaching - This was my first time doing something along these lines and it was great to have the clear explanations and narrative as you went along. I'm well on my way to doing some more cool and creative stuff with your help! Thank you!
Looking at this, wouldnt it be simpler to just make the circles like 180° degree, use the random effector as you did, but instead of generating mesh just put a redshift-tag on it and let redshift convert it to hair?
Hey Lukas, great tutorial as always! 🫶🏻 I am trying to apply your setup here to an alembic file, but now matter what i do, it just keeps giving me a blob of smoke, nothing like the original mesh of the alembic :( Any ideas on how to fix that?
Nice tut Lukas ! As always helpful. What is way to go with caching this kind of sims do we need to cache Pyro and particle both or just the one of these.

Thanks Lukas! Excited to try this.

Definitly. You dont get a represenatiton in the viewport but its so much lighter to run

@@rickherbst1872 thank you so much man 🙏🙏
When I render the scene out in Redshift the Green Particles show up. How do I remove them?
could you share what kind of render setting you worked with (Redshift, Standard, or Physical etc.)?

is there any way to get this simulating onto a surface?

Very cool! Thanks for showing how easy the pyro setup is.
Curious why you didn't use RS hair on the spline instead of creating geo
So sick! It's amazing
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Nice tutorial! One note: could you size up the UI and font a bit when doing tutorials so it's much easier too follow. thx!
Ohh, sorry about that. I'll do it next time ☺️
@@lukasthorup Thank you!
@@lukasthorup can we use only redshift licensce version for rendering in cinema 4d 2023 or 2024 version?
great one bro!😍
Thanks mate 🙌
Super beauuuutiful!!!
Thank you Buddy 🙌🙌❤️
a really nice animation..pretty helpful, thx
Wonderful look. I think I'll have to try and recreate this in Houdini. =)
🙌🙌🙌
Very very good ❤
Please tell me, why are you creating Dome Light and disabling all sliders in the Details tab?👽
@@Seymer_CG thats so it works as a background. And it takes no samples to render

You just need the particle cache
Wonderful Tutorial! Thank you!
Super nice!! thank you so much
LOVE IT!
Thanks for the nice insights!
love it!!
It`s so nice! Thanks you so much!!!
awesome TUT!!!
Thank you!
Nice tutorial 😊
You are a genius!
Great tut!
TBH you don't need such tiny voxel size like 3cm to let particles read velocity data. sth like 20cm will do the trick just fine.
It makes you visualize the smoke sim better when you're doing the initial setup
omg, dude! u roxx !
whats the best way to make this look like thick liquid
Awesome
Super!
Cool!
