@@not2tees Don't feel that. Dairy comes from ruminant animals and "is" carnivore. Also, vegans do not eat eggs, so we know they are really good for us !
Actually, if you study history, there are quite a number of individuals that enjoy watching others suffer and some actively participate in spreading it... profits are just the icing on the cake for them.
I found the Carnivore Lifestyle in 2023. If I had found earlier, my MS symptoms would be much better! I wouldn't have walked with a cane...giving me hip issues. And, many other issues. So frustrating! But, I'm still alive! Lol. Dealing with it! Can't go back in time, but of you guys Dealing with MS now...Try Carnivore! It has changed my life ❤
Thank you for all you do Dr Baker! I am thankful I found the carnivore community!!! I am a T6-7 complete paralysis spinal cord injury from a car accident almost 40yrs ago. I started this journey of changing my eating 3yrs ago. I am still learning even after hours and hours of your videos and others. It has saved my life!
Tell us how the carnivore life style has helped you. What improvements have you had. I feel better all over being 95% carnivore for 4 yrs. I am 67 living with a brain tumor. Glad you are doing better too.
There's also no financial benefit for the mediterranean, DASH, MIND, etc. diet but billions of dollars have been spent to test them for all kinds of major diseases.
One of my favorite cartoons: a guy in a white coat standing in front of a group, points to a blackboard upon which is written - "A Patient Cured is a Customer Lost"
Yes, I’m thankful for the carnivore life style. I was diagnosed with MS and because of diet change I have never taken medicine. I feel like red meat is better than medicine. Thank you Dr Baker, I was showing my 10 yr old son, how hard you workout because of meat making you strong. 😊😢.
In fairness there are a good many people out there who would rather take meds than change their diet. They are the same people who have had 7 experimentals. I've given up talking to them about it.
Yep, I live with 2 people in their mid 50's on the sad diet taking about 5 meds each. No arguments or discussions anymore, I'm just going to lead by example from now on. Thankfully my 2 sons get it & are primarily carnivores. Well wishes
It's discouraging when people won't listen but I always mention it once to people anyway. I get the deer in the headlights look from 99.9% of the people I tell though.
I get such mixed reactions; either total disbelief that this is a healthy diet and a myriad of excuses as to why they’d fail OR much curiosity and enthusiasm.
havent had to pay for healthcare my entire adult life, other than to follow my instincts & eat as much meat & fat as i like, even thru the whole lowfat diet craze in the u.s. its worked out. can only imagine all the starving treatment providers if the bulk of society had no use for them either:) ppl CAN go back to neighborhood gardens & locally sourced food, but only after the hundred yr old rockefeller allopathic medical model has been thoroughly refuted for what it is: a greedmonger's paradigm...
I’m not the doc, but I can offer a few suggestions. When I fly, I have taken cooked and thinly sliced steak in a ziplock bag. I have done the same with burger patties. Works great if you don’t mind your beef cold. Where are you headed? I prefer to be in places with kitchens so I can make my own meals. I find eating out very difficult, and that’s just in Canada and the US. I’m headed to Spain in a week an have concerns about how I’ll manage. Spending a lot of time in Cadiz so perhaps I’ll be having a lot of sushi. Wonder what will happen if I smile at the waiter and ask for “carne roja”
I'm from Ohio and we visit The Smokies every chance we get. I want to go carnivore so bad but I can't get my act together to do it. I read the comments on how good people feel and I want that so bad.
@victorialove9104 Lol, I will get a day in then I crack and really overdo the carbs the next day. Mentally I'm not sure why. I wish my husband would do it with me.
Set some short and longer term goals. 3 days, no carbs. Space out eating, no eating anything for 2 or 3 hours after a meal. Make sure you have quick easy food available, like ground beef.
Start with low carb or clean keto, your husband might not even notice. He might even think it's a treat. Would he complain about a steak & mushrooms dinner?
@andic1586 I've been carnivore for two years and keto/Atkins for seven years before that. I failed so many times in the beginning of all that. Just keep at it. If you fall off the wagon get right back on. I've never cheated on my two years of carnivore.
Nice to hear your vision, but woefully out of touch with what we deal with on a daily basis in hospitals. Dementia care is incredibly draining in society, young people are devastated by addiction, cancer is wiping out younger people. If AI has remedies for all of that, I will gladly change careers. But for now, if you come seeking nursing care, we got your back. Literally. Big hug. ❤
I have a doctor that is very anti establishment. Actually two, my gyn was pushed out of the big hospital system because he did not agree with the style of medicine they were promoting, he literally would not check the boxes. If you've ever sat with a provider who was staring at a computer screen the whole time they were with you, you know what I mean. I cannot imagine medicine without the personalized, nuanced touch you speak of. Thankfully at this point in life, I do not take any medications and lean on diet, exercise and prayer to stay healthy. I will never accept the normalization of disease.
"The bourgeoisie has stripped of its halo every occupation hitherto honored and looked up to with reverent awe. It has converted *the physician,* the lawyer, the priest, the poet, the man of science, into its paid wage-laborers." - Written in 1848!
Marx has stripped the productive and given to the moochers. Whatever problem the market has, the pseudointellectual grifters produce far more damage. They're out there as we speak, advocating nothing short of societal destruction. Those inciting class conflict must pay for their crimes, just as the extreme actors they oppose, who could not be confused with the bourgeoisie. Ironically, it is those extreme actors egging on the useful diots.
"it should be the first line treatment" That is what I have always thought about keto for epilepsy. I bet we can all guess why that is not the case. After parents have bankrupted their family and used up all their insurance, then, and only then, will they be allowed to try the treatment that would have worked in the first place.
Regulation capture has turned health care upside down to where grift is codified into law and lifestyle medicine is accused of and treated as grift. The charlatans give generously to the campaigns of lawmakers.
I’ll look for the 2025 Meatstock. I remember you interviewed that person but I can’t remember his name. I found out I have lipedema after watching your interview with Siobhan Huggins. Another reason to stay carnivore.
Tried carnivore many times but I never make it more than a few days. After 3 days I’m sick of meat and hunger comes back. Just not enough variety for me. Life is meant to be enjoyed and I occasionally like a glass of wine and a salad.
What makes you think that the "Let food be thy Medicine" approach can't be easily replaced with an AI-driven medical care model? Pt: "I have reflux." AI: "Try a Keto diet."
I think the movie "Idiocracy" nailed the future of medicine we are headed to. The truly healthy carnivores will never need a doctor.
A patient healed,
A customer lost.
😢 truth...
That literally means almost all drs are evil.
Keeping those biceps strong enough to lift the pills into the mouth. ;-)
Great presentation Doc Baker ! I do eat meat, water, salt, dairy, seafood and eggs ! Great stuff for nutrition and life ! !
I do, too, but I feel dairy guilt!

Big pharma, big medicine, big food, do not care how much people suffer.
Agreed!!!! Because people's continual suffering is how they have become rich companies!!!
Shouldn't people use their brain and be less self-indulgent?

You're expecting a lot from people that still trust the government, doctors, etc....
In fact the more people sufer, the more money they make and that is the number one goal for them.. "more money". They are scourge of the earth.

The reason it’s not the first line of treatment is because there is no financial benefit.
There's also no financial benefit for the mediterranean, DASH, MIND, etc. diet but billions of dollars have been spent to test them for all kinds of major diseases.
They call them customers nowadays, not patients 😢

Patient because you have to have patience to deal with these morons
We in the trenches still call them patients.
Hear Hear Dr Baker. There's no profit in a healthy, educated populace.
Beautiful pics from the Smokies! Best regards, doc.

Those doctors who only prescribe need to be put out of business. They themselves made the profession that much less reputable.
I reckon they have their figurative and collective nuts in the vice like the rest of us.
