Best thing about toy/train shows is you can often find old out of production rolling stock often for very cheap and in good shape. I like sorting through the 'bargain bins' for things like old Tyco train cars, etc. I've built up a collection of rolling stock that way usually for $3.00-$10.00 per piece. Train shows are great fun and interesting just to see the variety of stuff out there.
My first train show was a smaller affair held at a local banquet hall, but for $20 I got a pair of Walthers covered hopper kits (a NATX Trinity 4-bay hopper and a CNW Trinity 2-bay cement hopper) and a mystery RS-11 that someone painted in BN livery but didn't follow the Two Thin Coats rule, among other things.
Sadly the hobby has been inundated with greedy and very uneducated sellers. Most are really good folk and the few scalpers at these places are very easy to pick out and then promptly ignore. Trains doesn't automatically mean 100's of $$$ but you always find those Lily and Larry we found Grandpa's trains folks trying to get $300 for a 70's tyco kids set. Love these shows but they don't come thru my area often enough. Great walk around video!
Mic wire issues on narration but you had no trouble dubbing that music. For my two cents worth I’d rather you lost the music and did a voiceover narration.
If I was asking for opinions on the music I would appreciate the input, but I wasn’t. I’ve since bought a new microphone. Making these videos is thankless enough as it is, so I edit the videos for my enjoyment alone, and I like the music. As such I’ll be keeping it in future uploads as well.
Because often at a train show it’s not encouraged to film, and other people want to look at booths. I film as slow as is reasonable, and you’ll find that I try to film significantly clearer and longer than others doing videos on train shows. You’re welcome to go watch other content though!

I did a $20 hobby store run. Came out with a mint in box AHM Gp-18 in Norfolk and Western.
Really enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing.
Nice find! You sure are good at bargaining lol
HAHAHAHA The single note of megalovania when the SAN tender was on screen fucking got me, as well as that fucking Burlington northern tender.
The only train show near me has like 20,000 feet so it is pretty easy to find room to walk.
Fun video! I go bananas at shows, because I do N scale and HO scale!

Goddamnit Ethan
I am happy you noticed the music tho
I should try this with an Aussie train show down here. It would be impossible to find anything half decent for $20 lol.
Love the video concept! Sad the auto pulse box was empty though
Interesting. I was really just expecting just some rolling stock from that $20.
At least you have train shows
i never been to a cheep 💵 Show. would be awesome
I was at that train show in Racine, Wisconsin
Last train show I went to only cost me $12. My mantra was "I don't need it."

When Goin to a Train show Face the Truth you Cannot only Buy only one Thing for only $20.
Ok yeah your deal is great, but EWWWW NEW HAVEN. PATRICK MCGINIS EXPRESS WOO WOO

Did anyone else get a bit jumped by that fart sound effect? 😂

Bully ....Bully .
I can't not spend 20 I will mess up and spend 500

That was a waste of money on one thing man if I was with u bro man I would spent 500 on Lionel model set and trains
I Would be Spending $50 for Ho And $50 on N Scale But it is Impossible as Hell to Only spend $20 and Call it a Day.
Very Challenging to go to a Train show and only Spend a $20. When going to a Train show you will Be spending More than $20.
First
If you say you can get all you can for $20 at a train show something’s wrong with ya.
Please can you lose the music?

Why don’t you guys learn how to use the camera slow down and take your time filming
