Morgan Freeman should have narrated this episode.
That would have been so awesome!!!
True. I can't disagree with the top 3 in this list.
put it on mute, throw on subtitles, and imagine him saying everything.
😁😁
Yes, the video is presenting iconic voices, and she is talking most of the time, what an oxy-moron.
That “Long live the king” line by Jeremy Irons still gives me chills
They should have brought him back for the live action version
@@bbygalrea9682 yea
Agreed. He helped make Time Machine watchable.
Just imagine the action he made with his body while giving that line and inflection. lol Truly a great one.
Me too! They should have a spoiler alert before that one!! I haven't seen the movie.
I love Alan Rickman and his voice, he was a great actor and will ALWAYS be remembered 🖤
Always🖤
I always said I would be perfectly happy for him to read the telephone book to me.
❤️
God bless you always ♥️♥️
I was about to comment about Alan 🤍 thank you :)
10. Al Pacino (0:52)
09. Arnold Schwarzenegger (1:41)
08. Jeremy Irons (2:24)
07. Alan Rickman (3:07)
06. Vincent Price (4:03)
05. Clint Eastwood (5:08)
04. Sean Connery (5:55)
03. Christopher Walken (6:42)
02. James Earl Jones (7:28)
01. Morgan Freeman (8:47)
Thanks
Thanks man ❤️
They should have mentioned Richard Harris alongside with Paul Newman
Alan Rickman is my favourite
Ed Harris is good enough to be on the list aswell.
Christopher Lee? Sir Ian McKellen? Michael Caine? Patrick Stewart? I think this list could use a part 2.
Seriously - No David Attenborough? No Christopher Lee? No Willem Defoe?
To quote Fornostios:
"Christopher Lee? Sir Ian McKellen? Michael Caine? Patrick Stewart?"
I'd also like to add Matt Berry to this list; FFS, he has a whole show / series ("Toast of London") about being a fantastical self-deprecating voice-over artist / voice actor.
Also Billy West of Futurama, Ren and Stimpy, and way too many other things to list. :)
@@Mrliamtheblake Adam West?
How about Hugo Weaving?
Agreed.
I love Christopher Lees voice
RIP Alan Rickman
:(
rip legend
RIP
rip
RIP Mufasa
I fell in love with Alan Rickman when I saw him as Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility.. That voice is so missed!
Yeah, me too, although Robin Williams will always be my forever love in the acting field.
I used to love the Scar's voice
and I really really miss Alan Rickman
Alan Rickman: Oh how my heart broke a little when he passed away! What a great actor he was!
him and freeman made robinhood watchable
... Sean Connery as well may they find peace
One of my absolute favorite Actors
I loved him as Hans Gruber in Die hard
@@fordprefect4728
SO FREAKIN TRUE!!
(My two favorites voices.)
How on earth is sir Christopher Lee not in this list?
Yeah
AlphaMunky Surely he at least deserves an honourable mention!
fnorgen When I think of iconic voices, only 2 come to mind Morgan Freeman and Christopher Lee. He deserves more than an honourable mention. But yep, I understand what you're saying :P
+AlphaMunky
nice profile pic
Roxy Angel Thanks :3
Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons---OMG !!! Love 'em Love em LOVE THEM!!!
MY KINGS!!
I always love the accent from Irons and Rickman, Irons' accent looks like he is coming from British royale and the bariton of Rickman's voice is so unforgettable
For Irons, it’s not just the accent, but the richness & resonance of the voice. It’s so 3D.
So are we not mentioning Christopher lee? That mans voice is so legendary... even mythical... also sam Elliot in my opinion has a very distinguished voice, oh and Ralph ineson
Yeah, he should've made the list
That was my first thought
Also Christoph Waltz ... too a great voice 👍
james spader should be on the list sheesh
@@sonjagebauer2322 Ooooh, that's a bingo. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. So you have chosen death.
Man, if I had Jeremy Iron's voice, I would never shut up, even in front of a mirror. Ordering at McDonald's drive-thru would be amazing
How would they react like
I would just say "Loong live the king"
@@turosalmela6039 I'll say that James ell jones
I DO MY BEST "KARL CHILDERS" WHEN I GO THROUGH THE DRIVE-THRU...GET IT???
And I would work at McDonalds just to hear you order.
I like Jeremy Irons’ voice the most. It’s not just about the accent, but the richness & resonance of the voice. It’s so 3D.
John Malkovich should be on the list..
Alan Rickman, Morgan Freeman, and Jeremy Irons are the best voices ever!
don't forget Charles Dance, aka Tywin Laninster in GoT
Who is Alan Rickman?. I've never heard of him.
My first thought was : where is CHRISTOPHER LEE?!
Hes 6ft under.....oh you mean ;)
RIP Christopher Lee God he was an amazing man.
You have interfered with our affairs for the last time.
Christopher Lee's voice is deep and incredible. Don't worry, he was mentioned in the second part of this video. But they didn't mention Brawny King Fitness. Even his bass voice is deep and soothing. Feels great to listen to.
I thought I was the only one. Charles Dance is great too.
Ahhh Alan Rckman-loved his voice-so rich and smooth. Very iconic.
How could Adam West not even make the list? His voice was so recognizable that international telephone operators knew who he was.
Alan Rickman’s voice would’ve been perfect for Scar in the Lion King, but Jeremy Irons did a fantastic job no doubt
Sir David Attenborough is maybe not an actor but he has a lengedary voice
My thoughts exactly!
Who is he?
@@scotthamp384 He narrates many of the BBC's nature documentaries.
Yup, he does have a very distinct voice..perfect for narration of nature documentaries..love his voice too..
@@scotthamp384 Planet Earth.
Liam Neeson and Samuel L. Jackson deserve a spot on the list.
Alan Rickman should have a higher spot.
Richard Harris also had a very distinctive voice.
Samuel L for sure!
This list is mostly more modern actors. Far more iconic voices in the golden and silver ages. Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, John Wayne, James Cagney....the list goes on for a long time.
@@eribelle753 sir Christopher Lee?? 🤷
Hoe about Roger L Jackson? "What's your favourite scary movie?" Became one of the most well known lines in the 90s, and it's still relevant today
Benedict Cumberbatch is really iconic with his deep and slow voice like in Sherlock, Dr. Strange, Smaug
Watchmojo, I've come to bargain !
Let’s not forget Cary Grant, James Stewart and Henry Fonda! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Pretty sure Christopher Lee deserves a spot on this list...
Portalhero2 yeah and also fricking Peter Cullen who plays Optimus Prime am I right
I was just going to write the same
so true
me too, I thought he'd be at least in the honorable mentions
Portalhero2 yes
John Wayne, Orson Wells, Charlton Heston, Humphrey Bogart, Sam Elliot, Tom Selleck, Pierce Brosnan, Robert Mitchum, Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, Cary Grant.
Even more great voices. I also forgot these. And speaking of the great 'Bogey', check out his summing up speech to the jury in the late 40's movie 'Knock on any door'. It's mesmerizing. And the last time I looked, it was here on UA-cam.
Bogie is an obvious omission, but I would also add Jimmy Stewart who had a rather unique cadence and tone to his voice. Sam Elliot has certainly been heavily used in voiceovers.
And Richard Burton !
I could listen to Jeremy Irons' voice forever.
I think Jeremy Irons is brilliant and has a wonderful voice!
Absolutely
Number one was obvious
Yea i know right
Dragon Flyer BROTHER?
This just got weird.
I agree with Nice-Guy Hunter and Shanio
Richard Burton and Anthony Hopkins Both with distinctive voices.
Where the Hell is Sam Elliott!!
The Only voice that can go Toe to Toe against Morgan Freeman.
👍Thank you!!!
He’s not really that famous anymore, so “Iconic” is a stretch. Not that I disagree with you, though. haha
"It's like a goth siren song"
I'm sure Mr Price would have appreciated that comment
Micheal Caine!
Anthony Hopkins!
Patrick Stewart!
Need them on this list!
You forgot Sir Ian Mckellen
Don't forget "Mr Spock" Leonard Nimoy!
Even Johnny Depp.
James Yeow yea
Gary oldman too
John Hurt
James Earl Jones is the most iconic voice
Exactly, the same person who can be Darth Vader as well as Mufasa
I think it's the recurring generational issue with these lists. Younger people just didn't experience the peak of his career so he's voted lower then Morgan Freeman. Don't get me wrong Morgan Freeman is good but James Earl Jones is second to none in the voice department.
I agree. He should’ve been #1!
Missed Hugo Waving...
'hello mr Anderson"...(agent Smith)
"Do you remember me boy"...(Megatron)
"Remember, remember the fifth of November"...( V )
Loved him in V for Vendetta. All he had was his voice and how he used it.
They missed the most iconic voice of all time. The wonderful Jack Palance
Jack Palance used to visit his nephew at Bucknell, where my dad was the chef. Dad would hear that voice in the serving line from wherever he was in the huge kitchen (think Ratatouille) and be in the line like a waiter in a heartbeat because Palance was so decent to everybody. What a fanboy.
Anthony Hopkins should’ve been here. He narrated Thor and Transformer 5
And Brams Stoker's Dracula. He is amazing!
I forgot about Sir Anthony Hopkins!
have the lambs stopped screaming clarice
He also plays in a bridge too far very well
even in Antonio Banderas Zorro Hopkins was the old Zorro and narrator of that film if i remember it correctly
Listening to Jeremy Irons is like falling into a pool of velvet, butter and champagne.
You suddenly made me feel so smooth....
So comforting and smooth😏
Whilst smoking at least 2 packs a day ;-)
I love his voice sm
I love the voices of James Spader and Richard Armitage
James Earl Jones should be number one.
Yes, absolutely! Before I started to watch this list of 10, I thought that he would have been at the #1 spot.
I fell in love with Alan Rickman's voice in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. That dates me, I know.
Right there with you. I just about died laughing at every line he had in Galaxy Quest and Harry Potter would not have been interesting to me without Snape. A remarkable performer in smaller character dramas as well -- just a fantastic actor.
I fell in love with both Morgan Freeman and Alan Rickman in this movie. 😂😂
Me too. ‘& cancel Christmas!’
I adored Alan Rickman in Robin Hood Prince of thieves!
Robin Hood and the Prince of Thieves is my all time favourite movie
Alan Rickman deserved a higher place on the list like at least 2nd
Factssssss
Always
Nah, he should have been 1st
Innit
First.
There is no one above him.
And for those older than 23 . Vincent Price did the 13 ghosts of scooby doo.
These men have made our world a better place
Big respect for picking the right notable voice thank you all for getting it right
Hugo Weaving's voice was incredibly impressive in V for Vendetta. Amazing performance.
I'm surprised that Benedict Cumberbatch isn't on here.
Oh you're completely right, Cumberbatch and Christopher Lee :(
Cumberbatch sounds quite normal sounding.
Im more surprised that Michael Caine was nowhere to be seen!!
William Gaines Oh my God. So true.
Alan Chen uhm no.. how? have you seen his performance in star trek as khan? and the hobbit as smaug?
but yeah pretty normal in sherlock holmes but still not normal more like the usual or the actual sounding of cumberbatch..
im saying this cuz i dont know anyone else sounding like him... pretty unique
but this list is for iconic voices not unique voices so
no cumberbatch in this list
alot of people may not even know who he his compared to the people in this list...
Their legendary voices can make a sound therapy.
excellent selection. All my favourite voices
michael caine, denzel washington, donald & keifer sutherland, dennis hopper, humphrey bogart, john wayne, nicholas cage, john goodman, harrison ford.
jdbankshot denzel washington and cage
Dion MckonZer cage ? you gotta be kidding ? probably you meant his wig :))))))
hypertuch i'm referring to actors that have voices which can be identified by any movie buff with their eyes closed. no one else sounds like cage.
AndrewRiley1994 no, not at all, not even close. was 1994 your birth year, andrew?
jdbankshot true SO true....and yet, Arnold is in the vid:D
the first 4 are a must!!!
Jeremy Irons should have been higher. His voice is super sexy.
Not-so-smart aleck well I’m British so I don’t see my accent as “ sexy” I love Jeremy Irons voice cause I do, I don’t care about the others.
Doreen B. OK, fair enough. Sorry if I offended.
Preach
@@not-so-smartaleck8987 dumbass
I know
Te faltaron... Richard Burton, Michael Caine, James Mason y Leonard Nimoy... sus icónicas voces son inconfundibles e inolvidables en el cine.
Yes! RICHARD BURTON - the ultimate voice and accent.
Awesome love these
we all knew it was Morgan freeman
I was mad when I saw the others. Then I realized #1 was Morgan Freeman
Of course the voice of God is #1
hadyn curran All Americans sound the same but Italian Americans are different.
Dan Geiger
What, you thought they will choose anyone else?
No Michael fuckin Caine?????????
Justin Labiano jj0bea
also a giant actor and iconic voice !
Willem Dafoe`s got a great voice.
Or Max von Sydow? :(
Adam West and Ian Mckellan.
Awesome compilation!
Jeff Bridges and Kurt Russell have great voices, too. Also, Sean Penn as the narrator of 'Dogtown & Z-Boys' was pretty impressive.
Tim Curry as an honorable mention
Frank-N-Furter: *How did this happen!?*
You missed Christopher Lee. Once voice to rule them all.
i clicked on this video assuming I could hear some Christopher Lee, I scroll down I see this I am so disappointed.....
Same here.
Correct sir
Omar Alani we must join sauron
Patrick Brennan seeing how people around the globe are killing each other for no justified reason, I'd say that Sauron already has too many followers.
Jeremy Irons' voice is just so beautiful and compelling
Another comment pointed out Christopher Lee. His LOTR Co-Star Sir Ian McClean's voice is equally iconic. Disney voice actors, the guys who voiced Sebastian and Iago respectively are also both distinctive, and awesome.
Vincent Price has also been in Alice Cooper’s song “Black Widow” and did the voice of January Q. Irontail in “Here Comes Peter Cottontail”
Alan rickman should have been in much higher place of numbering. His voice is distinct.
Should have put Sam Elliot in there, is voice is so amazing!
He's there.
"You have no idea" - how much I love Jeremy's voice... the best for me + Vincent's part in The Thriller also gives shivers
If every book could be read by Morgan Freeman, I would be completely sold on audiobooks.
James Earl Jones will always be #1 in my heart. Especially after hearing his backstory.
He is your father afterall, lol!
My fav voice in cinema history
It is a huge surprise that Sir Christopher Lee is not anywhere in the list.
Come on, gentlemen, he was Dracula, a bond Villain, a Sith Lord, a Demi God and he does it in style.
Saruman...
AndTuts Well, Saruman was a demi-god, wasn't he?
MrLittleplay Wizard, not Demi-God
LegendNinja12 He's a Maia, which is a sort of a spirit or god. He takes human form in Middle-Earth and it is the prople of it that call him a wizard.
LegendNinja12 In lotr wizards are demi-gods
Great List.
Unique actors and unique voices😍👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Willem Defoe, Charles Dance, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Lee?
And Marlon Brando
I 2nd Anthony Hopkins
And Russell Crowe.
Also sam Elliott
@@onecuet I 3rd.
And don't forget John Malkovich. He has such an amazing unique kind of voice and accent as much as Sean Connery.
And Hugo Weaving
I agree a 100% I love his voice.
"sit." "Sam witwicky graduate from college."
We need a Part 2 absolutely 💙 Christopher Lee, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen,,, so many deserve it
Sean Connery melted me into my shoes. His final scene in the Untouchables brought me to tears, and It’s sad to know he’s gone.
Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons Lord Have Mercy
The Gruber brothers
yipee yah yey
Richard Harris
Alan Rickman scares me, his voice is THAT powerful
he sounds like Kylo Ren's voice with mask on and that's so badass
I remember watching March of The Penguins in theaters, as a kid.
The whole theater's parents were out cold and all the kids(including me) were glued to the screen.
You know what I’ve noticed about these lists? Most of them are British actors. Britain always produces some of the best actors with the most iconic voices.
Top 3 voices of all time:
Morgan Freeman
Jeremy Irons
Sir David Attenborough
Redd Peppa
CORPSE
James Earl Jones and
Alan Rickman too
Michael Caine 4
Sam elliot
Liam Neeson deserves more than an honorable mention
Yeah, he does
Agreed.
yes i agree !
Hell sir Christopher Lee didn't even get THAT.
Fadestrider yeah he should be here too . He was an icon himself ! Another category !
Of course sir Freeman is on number 1! But how amazing it is that Mufasa and Scar have both iconic voices!
I was like "where is Peter Cullen/ Optimus Prime?" lol. Do you have separate list for voice overs? Btw, I really like Morgan Freeman's voice in Shawshank Redemption, and I love that movie!
Robin Williams? Michael Caine? Anthony Hopkins ? Jack Nicholson ? ...
Rita Hayek robin williams changes his voice depend on what role.. i agree on the other 3.. and add Denzek Washington
A big yes for Denzel!
the dude from candyman
Definitely Sir Anthony Hopkins!
Jack Nicholson is just up right creepy voice
missing from this list:
Christopher Lee
Patrick Stewart
Adam West
Ian MacDiarmid
Clive Owen
Michael Caine
Eartha Kitt
Kevin Spacey
Michael Gross
Leonard Nimoy
What about Alan Alda?
Ooh, definitely Eartha.
Jack Nicholson??
eartha kitt is female this is about male actors
And Also, Vin Diesel And Keith David
I've heard on how monotone voices gets a bad rap for its sound but also I've read it is deep and romantic
You missed Dennis Haysbert the voice of Allstate and the intro to Meet the Press
Christoph Waltz? Anthony Hopkins maybe. Christopher Lee?
+Elif Erol No maybe for Anthony Hopkins, surely yes, absolutely!
+Elif Erol Waltz is still relatively new to Hollywood. Might've been why they didn't pick him, though I agree I'd recognize that voice anywhere.
If they made a new list including them and the others that we didn't mentioned, We'd be very happy.
Morgan Freeman could read a whole Telephone book and you would enjoy every single second!
I really miss quite a few actors! Where's Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Chrisopher Lee, Sir Anthony Hopkins and R. Lee Ermey?
Wow, I forgot about R Lee Ermey! She also left off Richard Burton and Orson Welles. Boris Karloff....Tony Hopkins is an awesome one as well, I agree.
Denzel Washington , Ed Harris
All of these and Benedict Cumberbatch.
patrick stewart, ian mckellen and hopkins definately, emery is great also, full metal jacket is a great movie due in large part to him
lets be honest morgan freeman could read the english dictionary and we would enjoy it
James Earl Jones tops all of them, his voice is deep and so handsome!
I fell in love with Alan Rickman...definitely
Rickman and Irons are my favorites. Not only for the voices, but for the pronunciation. Not so famous but with a great voice is Jim Carter, the butler in Downton Abbey.
Benedict Cumberbach (if I wrote it right) also has a great voice 👍
Mohammad Heydari cumberbatch*
Siddhi Patil so I missed a “t”... thank you 😊 🙏
Why can't anyone get Benadryl Cucumberpatch's name right?
Ummmm Duhhhhhhhh We LOVE BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH
Rishika Mehta I do too, he’s so elegant 🤩
Great pick. Irons is a league on his own 😊
When Allan played the king lion in Robin Hood. That’s what I remember him as.
I'm glad Walken made it as he's probably my favorite from this list, but really, I'm surprised Christopher Lee wasn't even mentioned!
I Agree.
I was just about to say, he would be number 2 or 3 for me. Ian McKellan should've been an honorable mention.
Demands a part two. Bill Murray and Jeff Goldblum could be there too.
Jeremy irons👍
Best voice!
Definitely needs a part 2 and 3. With part 3 for actress voices. Oceans 11 with George Clooney and the gang could have their own segment of voices.😊
Morgan Freeman is indeed a cinematic icon with a voice to match.
Michael Caine, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart though? Where they is?
Stupid, illiterate degenerate.
The Mad Hatter Lol
Still Where the Fuck is JOHN HURT!?
Christopher lee , ian mckellan and roger Moore
Let's not forget Peter O'Toole
Not an actor, but Sir David Attenborough should also be mentioned :)
Edit: F**king hell, I forgot about Christopher Lee and Ian Mckellen :O
Yes. Bless this comment.
Agree. I also believe that Carl Sagan should at least get a mention
They didn't let Ian pass sorry.
How about Rod Serling?
f
He's known for so many roles, but the most entertaining role Jeremy Irons has ever played was as the CEO in 'Margin Call'.
The guy who played Roose Bolton in Game of Thrones also, is a honorary mention too
