Christoph Waltz like Johnny Depp is an extremely limited actor, always playing the same roles. His English is okay, but you can always hear the snarky and arrogant Austrian.
His English is ok? You may be talking about just his accent but his ability to use the English language is great especially since its not his first language.

Agree on Oldman, completely. A total chameleon, vastly under praised. Arguably the best actor alive, the guy should have won many more awards than he has. Daniel Day Lewis definitely qualifies for 2nd. If it weren't for Gary, DDL would be tops.
Phil Anderson : They are both excellent, but Day-Lewis is the greatest actor of his generation if not all time. Love Oldman as well. Perhaps a draw. Oh, where is Meryl Streep? Would like to see a list of actors who can totally disappear into their roles. Day-Lewis would be on the list, Streep, Christian Bale, and Javier Bardem.

Brad Pitt an honourable mention? I love the guy but his accents aren't great. Idris Alba's accents are on point, dude should be more than an honourable mention.
I agree, Pitt isn't talented at accents. Fassbender is really accurate at accents and annotations, even more than Idris. Matt Damon doesn't do accents often, but his South African one was really on point.

Yeah I kind of agree that Hugh Laurie should have been on this list. I think that the only reason why he got left off is because he doesn't just have "American accent" he has "his HOUSE voice" and he does whatever he can not to use it in other movies or television shows. I mean for crying out loud I shit a brick when I saw him in Street Kings and he bust out the House voice I was like, "Holy shit, it's House with a badge." Yeah well it's in the US Constitution that any time Canada wants to join the Union and become a State they can do so no questions asked. So Canada is basically America.

Girtalir You do realize Canadian is a seperate Nationality, right? Education people. By your logic, Mexicans and Canadians are the same because the nations are all within the same interlocking continent.
Gary Oldman and Daniel Day Lewis are both amazing. They have great command of emotion. But it's their ability to change body language and voice that is astonishing. They go beyond being actors. They are becomers. They completely inhabit their role. The same goes for Meryl Streep.

Alan Cumming-he is a native born and bred Scotsman-accents are, Irish, several varieties American, German, Several varieties of English. I know he sings beautifully in French, but have never heard him act with that accent. Glad to see he at least made the Honorable Mention list.
Colin Ferrell's New York accent as the penguin in the new Batman is absolutely amazing!!... I didn't even know he was in the film until I saw his name in the credits. There's even a clip on him goofing while getting his make up on, and it's amazing.
If we're just talking Top Ten Male Actors of the 20th and 21st Centuries, Hopkins would belong on that list, and very high up. Accents aren't his strength, though. Voice modulation, definitely--amazing!--but not necessarily all that great with accents. Aside from his voice, his brilliance is in his eyes, subtle facial expressions, head tilts, gestures, and--up until his seventies, anyway--his overall body control: his posture, his walk, and so on. One of the best ever who can act the hell out of a scene with his back turned to the camera.
I come from Invercargill, New Zealand, and I can tell you that not only was it on point, but it was on point for the years he was portraying. Children were actually taught a specific accent at the time to more closely imitate the 'Queen's English' as unfortunately back then there was still a huge pressure to be seen as a closely related commonwealth country. Anthony's accent had a perfect mix of Southland drawl and the enforced English inflection that Munro would have had at the time.
This freaking video, seriously, I hear the narrator's voice more than the actors on the list. i actually want to HEAR their different accents! My goodness watchmojo, seriously????
Gary Oldman certainly deserves all the praise and accolades. From The Professional to Prick Up your Ears to the 5th Element up forward to the Nolan Batman Trilogy he is never upstaged.
I agree! Although he rarely plays anything besides a German (and he's German-Austrian) :P but it also helps that he's fluent in German, French, and English
Fox bought the rights to the film and name...they prefaced with "American roles". Fox studios is based in L.A. and is therefore, an American role because he was instructed to "sound American". They know he's Canadian, but he still portrays him as American sounding. Therefore it is an American role. "Australia" was co-produced by 20th Cent. Fox but was still considered Australian as it was released in Australia and the entire persona was australian.
No duh, dude. And yes, if anything, he's Canadian-American. I get that. You can be Canadian and sound "American". Northern North America is still North America. I know Canadian people who live on the border of NH and VT with Canadian accents as well as those American accents. Same goes for the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest. Still, they should have referred to it as a Canadian-American accent or just North American.
a 'Canadian-American' is a term referring to being an american with Canadian parents - 'American-Canadian' is the reverse. the term you are looking for when referring to the accent is "North American-English".
That's not exactly accurate. "African American" certainly doesn't pertain to having an african parent and being American. As you'd be far fetched to find a black person you even know that had parents that weren't born American. Yet the term "African American" is still the correct term. Plus how many generations have to be born into American culture to no longer be considered native to where their families came from? Yet that still wouldn't work because the United States census doesn't recognize generations as a unit of measure. Canadian-American literally means (and this is according to my human geography college course), that they are of direct Canadian descent residing in America, OR are born Canadian citizens, and now reside as US American citizens. They might change things in the future but screw political correctness. My brother was born in Japan, yet he's as white and American as they come. He can be considered Japanese-American if he chooses. He does not. He's also of strong Italian descent. He's still just American. His Dad was born here.
Would have loved to see women included in this list ;) Meryl Streep, Renee Zellweger, Cate Blanchett, Margot Robbie, Lotte Verbeek are doing a great job!

+ShadowDJ94 Right, I get that when you said "he's a Canadian citizen," but you preceded that by stating "he isn't American," which is an inaccurate statement as he is a native to the American continents.

He's lived in Denmark too. That's what his last name is. Queen Margarite, i'm probably spelling that wrong, knighted him. So he's Sir Viggo Mortenson. Of course, no one calls him that. He moved around quite a bit and can speak several languages. English, Spanish, Danish, French, and maybe one more.
Alantan It's not bad, but then again, it's him doing a slightly different accent than his native one is, so it's not as impressive as an American actor doing a British accent (or vice versa). Hardy's American accents aren't too bad, they're just not great, is all.

Alan Rickman Britsh, English, Russian and a couple others and he speaks Spanish too RIP sexy Snape
Ariel L Alan Rickman could do British AND English accents!?! Well that's absolutely remarkable!
Good one - and German! Die Hard - Hans Gruber
Ariel L rip
Gary Oldman is the only man I know who looks unrecognizable in every film he plays in. He is truly talented
Agreed. He is an amazing actor. I've loved his work since I was a kid.
Viggo, viggo, viggo.a great actor and humanatarian who has helped many times in our idaho community for the less unfortunate.he is a humble man who is also very private and we respect that.we love ya viggo
Hugh Laurie has an American accent nailed.
mvann5 Yeah, I can't believe he didn't even get a mention! Especially looking at the fact, that even the producers of House thought he was an American after watching his audition vid.
Hugh Laurie would have been in my top 5. And Downey Jr. for his English accent in Sherlock Holmes
mvann5 I was going to mention him too!
:)
*Canadian
Viggo Mortensen is half Danish and half American , he lived in his childhood in Argentina and speaks spanish with argentinan accent very well, he has lived during his early twenties in Denmark and obviously he speaks danish , he has mastered not only russian, southern north america accent , British with hints of austrian , but also has had parts in spanish speaking roles making a spaniard accent and argentinan accent .
He also speaks french very well :)
He also speaks french very well :)
SenatorSmeagol thanks for informing me didn't know he could speak french ,but it doesn't surprise me ,he is a man of many crafts he also is a musician and a writer.
Fun fact, He dubbed himself in Hidalgo for the spanish version.
adriana adriana he actually pulls off a very very good french accent.. he lately starred in a movie about my Country's Independence called "Loin des Hommes/ Far From Men" check the trailer if you want to hear em' rock dem french accents :p
AND CHRISTOPH WALTZ??
maybe it's just because I speak German and English, but I can still hear his Austrian accent when he plays English/American roles. his french accent is amazing though lol
indeed
Christoph Waltz like Johnny Depp is an extremely limited actor, always playing the same roles. His English is okay, but you can always hear the snarky and arrogant Austrian.
His French is amazing but his Austrian accent is easily recognizable.
His English is ok? You may be talking about just his accent but his ability to use the English language is great especially since its not his first language.
People consistently underrate Alfred Molina. The man is an enigma and he deserves better than not even a mention. Smh
True. He should have received a mention at least. How the eff does Brad Pitt get a mention and not a peep about Alfred Molina? Mojo is trash.
Oldman does deserve 1st place they got that right - but come on.....
Leo can pretty much do anything expect win a Oscar. He going to win one for the Revenant I guarantee it.
Hunter McDaniel Im going to throw a party the day Leo wins a fucking oscar!
Hunter McDaniel Is possible that even Redmayne wins his second one next year, and Leo woundn't even win his first.
André Camilo What movie is Redmayne going to be in next year? That you expect an Oscar worthy performance from :P
FreakieFan People are already betting on his The Danish Girl role, where he plays the first transgender ever.
André Camilo You're right, that is an Oscar movie. Just like Hilary Swank won an Oscar for Boys Dont Cry, where she plays a transgender aswell.
But still, i hope that Leo finally wins an Oscar man!
I could totally see Gary Oldman as Jack Sparrow :D
***** Captain* Jack Sparrow

Um, Ben Kingsley? Indian in Gandhi, Austrian in Schindler's List, both American and British in Iron Man 3.
And French in Freddie The Frog (a.k.a. Freddie As F.R.O.7).

DDL would be number one.
Can Oldman just win his fucking oscar please
CptObvious boy have I got news for you
Where's HUGO WEAVING???
He should be # 1!
Originally Australian.
American accent in The Matrix trilogy
British accent in V for Vendetta
German accent in Captain America: The First Avenger
AND MANY MORE!
That man is amazing! Definitely deserves more credit! Dont forget The lord of the rings trilogy too!
and All 3 Transformers movies
He is the best
Oldman deserves the top spot, but he should perhaps replace DiCaprio on this list.
"Mr. Anderson...."
Viggo mortensen is the best for different languages not just accent
In fact he played a spaniard caracter in a spanish production with a flawless spaniard accent. Even though his natural accent is argentinian. He doubled himself in Hidalgo with a north mexican/neutral accent.
Well put. Of course he speaks In real life he speaks several of them fluently : English, Spanish, Norwegian and I don't know how many others. Do you?
@@ShirlEllen he speaks French
He speaks 7 languages, English, Spanish (wit an agertin accent), French, Catalan, Danish, Latin and I don't remember the seventh but if you've seen the Lord of the Rings trilogy you'll know he also speak elvish
Viggo knows 7 languages
I would’ve thrown James McAvoy somewhere on this list
Agreed
So agreed!
Whats about Chistoph Waltz he's Austrian Oscar winner for his role as a german, played an english speaking russian in'die hard' and he speaks perfect german as well as french
And when he also speaks Italian (not sure if he can in real life) in Inglorius Basterds
JohnDanielTorrance he can't in real life, he learned those lines just for the role :)
Everyone in Austria speaks German, just saying ...
Christoph Waltz wasn't in any of the Die Hard movies.
I know that all austrians speak german but it isnt realy the same cause their german is so different that the most germans (i am ) dont understand them, they have like the strongest exent there is.
He is the real chameleon actor, right? Not johnny depp...
He is the real chamaleon actor, right? Not johnny depp
Oldman is very good, but Day-Lewis is the true chameleon.
@@mydogdeli Then you haven't seen enough Oldman films. Don't get me wrong; they're both top tier, but Oldman is the absolute king of accents and dialects.
I didn't even know the name Gary Oldman but after looking at his face for a few seconds I just gasped "zorg!" I never realized that actor played so many people!
I loved him as Zorg. He's really amazing in everything he does. Check him out in The Professional.
You damn right!
Hes utterly amazing
They choose his air force one russian over the viktor reznov from world at war... ridiculous
He was also the best Beethoven I've seen on screen.
You forgot Peter Stormare. You can't forget Stormare in a top like this.
He does every east European accent perfect 🤣
True.
Right to put Gary Oldman on first place, he's the best :) !
WTF, can you say spoiler alert
salchichadegrasa Oh sorry... um.. SPOILER ALERT! there :)
That's all I wanted. Thank you:)
salchichadegrasa You're welcome :)
Well, maybe but that "Transylvanian" accent was wrong :)
Athelas in all fairness his AFRICANAS. Accent is on point.. check Meet joe Black.. He is actually insanely good.. also surprised that Nicole Kidman isn't on the list. She is INSANE.
LOL go watch "Snatch" and get back to me on Brad Pitt bad accents...
Nathan Howard
He took that role as a way of poking fun at his bad accents in previous films
His pikey accent is regarded as one of the most accurate accents put on screen and it's extremely difficult as well. Not a huge fan of the guy myself but he can do accents.
Viggo is awesome. He is fluent in many languages and speaks Spanish like a true Argentinian !! Love him !! :-)
Don't forget that he speaks Danish too :)
WANTZiN That´s what I said : "He is fluent in many languages". :-)
I love Viggo Mortensen! Especially on "Eastern Promises"! Trully an underrated gem.
I'm a Viggo fan, but in a way, to have a guy like him on the list who's multi-national in many ways and a polygot is kind of like cheating. ;) (But I'd still put him on the list lol )
He speaks English, Danish, Spanish, French and Italian, and understands Norwegian and Swedish.
FFS he can even speak some Catalan.
I was going to get pissed that Daniel Day Lewis wasn’t #1 until I saw Gary Oldman was in the top spot, he is truly amazing at accents
I would have put Hugh Laurie on the list, but all these actors are great with their voices. Oh the woes of putting together a top 10
Some of Hugh Laurie's greatest accent work was on tv though, I think this list is refering mostly to films.
Melissa Gomez Ah, could be
Melissa Gomez while hugh lauries american accent is incredible he never really did much else in the way of accents.
Agreed! He does such a convincing american accent! ♡
Yeah I kind of agree that Hugh Laurie should have been on this list. I think that the only reason why he got left off is because he doesn't just have "American accent" he has "his HOUSE voice" and he does whatever he can not to use it in other movies or television shows.
I mean for crying out loud I shit a brick when I saw him in Street Kings and he bust out the House voice I was like, "Holy shit, it's House with a badge."
And don't get me wrong because I loved him in Street Kings, but I got to poke fun just a little bit.
Viggo Mortensen speaks fluent Spanish with native Argentinian accent and can act with Spaniard accent... Movie: Alatriste...
And he is half danish
And a fan of san lorenzo
@@karisimonsen9827 Lol dont spread lies pls he 's actually a Dunedain

For the record....Wolverine is Canadian, not American.
David Young came here to say this
Yeah well it's in the US Constitution that any time Canada wants to join the Union and become a State they can do so no questions asked. So Canada is basically America.
IceDragon978 All Americans live under the Canadians
Able to join anytime =/= already joined.
Derp McDerpson no shit bro.
James McAvoy, the guy is goddamn underrated.

just in Inglorious Basterds Christoph Waltz, did EVERYTHANG! (i know i've misspelled everything)
+Leonardo Tomita Exactly the point!!!! Where is that awesome man that can speak almost everything!!!!
+Leonardo Tomita: yes! Christoph Waltz stole the whole movie.
+Leonardo Tomita Then why misspell it?
+Leonardo Tomita I wonder if the fact that he spoke the languages made him not get a spot on the list. Cuz technically its not an accent... hes just speaking french, german, italian. etc. His english probably has the same germam/autrsian accent throughout the movie.. Thoughts?
Chris Harada Yep, that's exactly what I've said just two comments above yours :)
I live how you show Wolverine when talking about "American characters." Wolverine is Canadian.
I was literally about to say the same thing.
BikouTenma You do realise canada is part of the continent America, just not the USA? education people
Girtalir
You do realize Canadian is a seperate Nationality, right? Education people.
By your logic, Mexicans and Canadians are the same because the nations are all within the same interlocking continent.
Exactly hahahah a lot of Canadians can pass for Americans though as far as accents go but that is about it.
Girtalir The only people who carry the nationality "American" are people from the USA. Look it up.
What about James McAvoy?
what about him?
Jorge 42 he is Scottish and does, American, English!
That man is basically gold, His many accents in split alone say it all!
@@Millie226 watch 'Wanted' again, and see if you feel strongly about that
he is on their worst accents list :)
Gary Oldman and Daniel Day Lewis are both amazing. They have great command of emotion. But it's their ability to change body language and voice that is astonishing. They go beyond being actors. They are becomers. They completely inhabit their role. The same goes for Meryl Streep.
Where the hell is Robin Williams?! He's the MASTER of foreign accents!
His "French" accent sucks.
In Mrs.Doubtfire he was trying an English accent but ended up with a Scottish accent.
yeah but wasn't that the point? the English actor noticed it and pointed out that his accent was off lol
Robin played a Russian in Moscow on the Hudson. Didn't hold a candle to Viggo Mortensen in Eastern Promises.
Voices, yes. Foreign accents? No.
On the other hand, the vast majority of these fail fairly harshly at it too, so...
I was watching this and telling my self Gary Oldman must be in the first place, Gary Oldman must be in the first place, Gary Oldman must be in the first place...
Aida Ca IS HE NOT???? (im literally only halfway in, lol)
Aida Ca weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp 😂 guess who finished the video, lol
Rose Cortes yeah 😂😂😂
Aida Ca no daniel day lewis
Me, too. I love every accent he has ever done. He's my favorite person in Fifth Element, wished he had better actors to work with in Dracula (sorry, but Keanu and Winona ruined that movie for me). He is also a chameleon with very little makeup.
Lol but Wolverine isn't American though. He's Canadian.
Yeah aye. But he doesn't say aboot instead of about. He would be hilarious with a Baston accent though. LOL
I'm American and IMO Boston is the worst accent worse then jersey and more annoying then a Minnesota/Fargo accent. I wonder if foreigners can tell the diff.
Actually, I believe Wolverine was originally born American, but emigrated to Canada at some point.
dksilentbob Really? Thanks for the info! :)
*****
Actually, ya you're right. I just looked it up. I think I was confused because the X-Men Origins movie took liberties with the story and detracted from the canon comic book story line.
At this point I don't even know who Gary Oldman is anymore lmao.
Neither does he, apparently! (lol from that Graham Norton clip)
"Sirius"ly...
7:25 - "American, huh?" "Guilty." "Well, Americans usually are." Such a funny line...
You have to be able to spot Gary Oldman in order to put him on the list. He's a chameleon.
Gary Oldman is one of the best actors in Hollywood, he is a very talented actor I say I agree completely he is no 1 in this list
I agree with the number 1 pick. But where is Kevin Spacey?
Yes! Kevin Spacey!
+Gabriel Brownawell In the closet.
Anothny Hopkins is good too. He did a Kiwi (New Zealand) accent perfectly, which almost EVERY actor has failed to do because they always sound aussie
I disagree. His Kiwi accent wasn't on point
The Australian accent is just an evil version of the New Zealand accent (as Bret and Jemaine will tell you).
Hugh Laurie was so convincing the casting director of House didn't know he wasn't American
Wolverine is Canadian, not American.
in a way, Canadians are americans because Canada is in North American continent therefore ...
Fulahno no.
Then i guess Germany and Spain is the same thing to
Well....they almost were...
Rajmund Csombordi all of Europe was almost Germany. Thank the Japanese for ruining it all.
I just knew Gary Oldman would be #1, he is brilliant at them.
I love Daniel Day-Lewis no question about it. But I’m glad for once the top spot went to Gary Oldman.
Gary Oldman...Simply brilliant 😽🙏
This freaking video, seriously, I hear the narrator's voice more than the actors on the list. i actually want to HEAR their different accents! My goodness watchmojo, seriously????
Gary Oldman certainly deserves all the praise and accolades. From The Professional to Prick Up your Ears to the 5th Element up forward to the Nolan Batman Trilogy he is never upstaged.
And Christoph Waltz????????
Indeed!!!!
I agree! Although he rarely plays anything besides a German (and he's German-Austrian) :P but it also helps that he's fluent in German, French, and English
DasOtello digger.... der ist deutscher ;D
Auch wenn er kulturell natürlich Ösi ist...
Wasn't even an honorable mention!? But they show like four scenes from bastards...
he has a German accent in every movie; his characters are even usually German
True ....gary oldman gets into character without alot of training and fuss...his method acting is just so amazing...truly underrarted
James "Logan" Howlett a.k.a The Wolverine is Canadian...
Still, they should have referred to it as a Canadian-American accent or just North American.
yea you're right, they should have. It was a very simple google search away.
a 'Canadian-American' is a term referring to being an american with Canadian parents - 'American-Canadian' is the reverse. the term you are looking for when referring to the accent is "North American-English".
I believe the video has a title. Don't do this.
@@EmmanuelIwhiwhu I work in the film industry and we often use the word ‘actor’ in a gender neutral way. :) Same as ‘lawyer’, ‘doctor’ or ‘writer’. You’re right that the title of the clip might refer to only male actors, but still I would love an overview where women are featured too. 😊
@@sterredejong7409 alright. But one of the 1st sentences in the video specifically mentioned the phrase "Male" Actor. Based on this I'd have agreed with you if you requested that they do a video for women. I actually love your list of women. They are the same people I'd have requested for based on their talents with accents
Sorry for the nitpick, but...uh...
Hugh played a CANADIAN in X-Men, not an american ;;; Wolverine is a Canadian citizen.
i was going to add that.
despair487 He also played a French man in Les Miserables.
Canada is in North America
Dead Dream Productions I meant that he's not an USA Citizen.
+ShadowDJ94 Right, I get that when you said "he's a Canadian citizen," but you preceded that by stating "he isn't American," which is an inaccurate statement as he is a native to the American continents.
Peter Sellers was the King of accents. He was the human chameleon. What a most unique personality.
What about David Tennant, pulled off a perfect English accent the whole way through Doctor Who even though he's Scottish
David Tennant should be number one on every list in my book.
Especially with such a heavy Scottish accent. He's also done a really good American accent.
He's good, not good enough. It's not like they pick the only 10 actors they can find, they pick the ones that are the best known for it.
same with james mcavoy lol
Likely because Americans (as this production is) without a good ear cannot distinguish the multitude of U.K. accents (Scottish, Welsh, London, Cockney, Liverpool, etc.) as easily as the subsets of American accents.
Viggo Mortensen also speaks danish, that is something not even most danish people do.
Wow .... but the nice lady told us he's from New York City. Ptssssssch! Russian language is half danish-swedish spiced up with beluga Caviar and a pint of Vodka
oh yeah! sorry about that. I forgot about the Babushkas
Dudes his from denmark
Oldman...used regularly, but hugely underrated.
You got my LIKE when you put Gary Oldman on the top of the list.
Downey Jr's Australian accent is not that good. Dev Patel is the only foreign actor who really nailed it in 'Lion'.
Apparently Liev Schreiber did a pretty good one.
wow dev petel is 1. hunk 2. can do a dam fine Aussie accent
@@TheClotThickens He can. Totally nailed it in "Mental".
Wanna know something crazy: Jonah Hill has more Oscar Nominations than Gary Oldman...
My god, that's seriously depressing.
Gary Oldman does not need meaningless accolades to show what a brilliant actor he is. ;)
to be fair Hill only got nominated for Moneyball for the INSANE lack of competition for the supporting actor category that year. I mean Melisa McCarthy even got nominated for best supporting actress! I can't blame the academy for that one. And Hill was genunily fantastic in The Wolf of Wall Street and I would not say that nomination was terrible.
Michael Colby I get that but Gary Oldman is good in everything he's done.
Rowan J Coleman I agree but I was just putting your statement in perspective. It scares me even more that Guy Pearce has not even been nominated yet.
CHRISTOPH WALTZ SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE OF THE LIST.
@Vladimir Dj he doesn't speak italian, still a great actor and one of my favourites tho
@@alessandrod.6048 Well he sure as hell sounded like he does speak it fluentely.
Just because he speaks the languages doesn't mean he has the accent. He always has a default German accent.
He should be on the list. But Gary Oldman is 100% the best choice for #1
Don’t know about him being number 1 on this list, but I think he’d definitely make it in the top 5
You missed Viggo’s Philadelphia accent in A History of Violence (an accent that is very difficult to pull off).
Also, Wolverine is Canadian (not American), as others have already pointed out here.
And Viggo’s Italian in Green Book.
Worth noting, Vigo, although born in NY was raised in Argentina and speaks IMPECCABLE Argentine Spanish.
Alan Rickman should have been somewhere on this list. That change from a German accent to an American one in Die Hard was super impressive.
Very true.
i think tom hardy should at least be an hounarable mention
+AmazingJoe96 Yeah, his accents aren't terribly impressive.
+AmazingJoe96 Oh man check his accent in Peaky Blinders
Alantan ok i haven seen that yet
Alantan It's not bad, but then again, it's him doing a slightly different accent than his native one is, so it's not as impressive as an American actor doing a British accent (or vice versa). Hardy's American accents aren't too bad, they're just not great, is all.
+niptuck117 his accent for john fitzgerald in the revenant was pretty damn good
Gary oldman is great at Russian accents, he even played victor reznov in black ops
Wolverine isn't american. He is Canadian.
Hugh Jackman is Australian. Wolverine, the Marvel character, is Canadian.

Gary Oldman is Legend and can do accents very well.
I think Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman as and Viggo Mortensen are consistently on point.
But I think Robert Downey Jr Daniel bruhl and Michael Fassbender are consistently on point.
